That's true, the memes are most likely created to discredit sigmas, and the one who made it should be an alpha or under alpha male influences (beta or something). Women Ovulate once a month for 24 to 36 hours and emit a scent during this time. Humans might not be able to smell it but animals can. Also Women’s hormones are affected during this time which can start up to 5 days prior to ovulation with 3 days being the average.
Women also have Menstruation after their ovulation which can last from 2 to 7 days, and again they emit a scent during this time that animals can definitely detect, and again their hormones are affected during this time.
This means that for 6 to 13 days of a 28 day month Women would not be available for the Hunt.
You understand why having a unusual sent that animals can detect and mixed up hormones would be a bad thing on a Hunt… right?
Now I have no doubt that there were some women who hunted, but they were very few, and more than likely lost their ability to Ovulate somehow.

I wish there was a category for "Meat Popsicle". That would define me well. Kidding aside. There is something to be said for the satisfaction of fitting into a category. We do this a lot as humans. For example: sports, military, religion, music.... This is not just a human concept. Lots of other animal species set up dominance hierarchy models. For example: chimpanzees, wolves, baboons, gorillas, seals, fish.... If you have interest, try "Maslow's hierarchy"... I am not saying this list is complete or even exactly accurate, but it is a good start.
