It's what's happening to my home city of Auckland, New Zealand. Was such a nice city once and now full of 3rd world immigrants who don't bother learning the English language and bring with them their 3rd world culture, what's worse is that it's only gonna get worse!!!

We brought more Syrian refugees in....we aren't smarter or better for that. Look, we need to look after our own families first. let me explain this to you in simplicity, I work in a shop in alberta, the way this government is working is the same as how it would be if we gave money to other shops in town to pay their employees as we send ours home due to no work. it's absolutely sickening and wrong. I am in no means racist or against helping others, but we have to take care of us first.

Why would I neglect my family to help others? Why would I put my family in a position harder then what we are already going through with work around here to help another's thrive? This is this world's problem, we are to concerned about everyone else's feelings at the expense of our own.

Canada has a stronger vetting process, its not comparing apples to apples. But people love to discredit Ann, because she is like a laser she zones into those topics that make people feel uncomfortable.
The host was actually "nice" to her. Normally they are cold, snarky, terse and argumentative, ready to do "gotcha journalism" on her.
Only thing I'd point out to Anne, is that Canada only has 1/10th the population of the U.S. So we take in 250k-300k per year. The U.S. takes in 1,000,000. Canada's still taking alot more per capita, which changes our country even more so.

She really doesn't get it. Canada has a smaller population. Flat numbers is comparing apples to oranges. Proportionally, Canada has been taking in more immigrants per population than the US for the last 50 years.
However, Canada has a point system. Most of Canada's immigrants have skills and education and have to speak English or French to get here and have enough money to support themselves. Except for refugees, Canada isn't taking in the poorest and uneducated people like the American system does. The US is on a first come, first serve basis of who is willing to wait longest.
Proportionally, Canada takes more immigrants than the US. But Canada takes in very different immigrants than the US and has done so for a very long time.
Who is going to pay for these refugees

Imagine if you had a large family all working and contributing to cleaning the house and earning their keep as well as giving a portion of their pay check to supporting the financial needs of the home. When one your kids get sick. Instead of spending money on helping your child, you use that money to adopt more children. No sane family would do this. The government would step in and take your kids away!
I feel we have so many unemployed with more people laid off in Ontario recently, we need to look after our own Natives, our own retired Military or those that require medical help or mental concerns such as PTSD. We have many homeless or those at poverty levels that need to be trained or retrained free of charge like they would for immigrants. Also better health care for low income individuals as well as more professional ground level health care workers to meet the needs for special physically challenged individuals as well as mentally compromised individuals. So many hospitals have cut back staff due to budget restraints, social workers etc. The whole system needs to be overhauled to decrease the ratio of those in need to those who have the training and knowledge. The cost will be enough as it is for Canadians to pay partial and for the Government to pay for the rest to actually make a change from what in place now.
After Trump's 8 yrs..I think Coulter should be our first woman potus.

It sometimes take 2 generations before a new comer assimilates except for the Muslims from wherever they come from they want their own land to build their own community they want their own schools and God knows what they teach their Muslim kids WE have no idea other cultures want to fit in by the way Muslims are not a race it’s a religion I think they take advantage of our constitution “ freedom of religion’

Well ,she is absolutely right as the quote comes " first comes, first serves " we have to understand the tax payers money can be used for more useful purposes for in our own nation than for other foreigners "refugees " who have not contributed in any possible way in Canada. And i think what donald trump does isn't racist or being prejudice rather it can be translated as more protective towards " all Americans " ( the people who serve the country in some way) looking at the unemployment in Canada, the health care disasters and our deficits and budget , the child poverty across the country and then decide whether it's fair to judge based on our some cultural humanitarian values.

Is it me or is she less of a provocateur and more of a calm headed, dare I say rational person, when she talks to Canadians? She's still a Republican clearly, but she definitely tones herself down compared to some speeches she's done with The Young Turks.
She's even hinted to the fact that Canada's immigration policies are good and that we should keep doing it (Not needing a pause on immigration). This just kind of proves what she's doing in the USA is purely an act for book sales.

I think it's "funny" they would ask Ann Coulter anything about Canada, given that in an interview a while back, with The Fifth Estate, she insisted that Canada had sent troops to Vietnam. When she was told that Canada had never sent troops to Vietnam, she still wouldn't believe it. Later, she justified saying so, because Americans who were residing in Canada, at the time, had to return to the US to enlist. She doesn't mention, of course, that many defected, at that point, rather than going to Vietnam (these American defectors were later pardoned by President Carter). Also, Canada takes a great deal of immigrants per capita, more than the U.S. - As of 2015, Toronto for example - 50% of the population living there, is foreign born. Having said that, I may not agree with Ann Coulter's "alternative facts", but it doesn't mean Canada should have open borders, either. We need to be tolerant, but vigilant as well - and "Put Canada First"!
