BASICS OF OVERHEAD LINE CONDUCTOR & NAMMED @ ANIMALS

Workshop 5, session -8, part-1 portrays the basics of overhead line conductor material , type of conductor, application , trade name @animal , corona discharge, disruptive critical voltage ( Vc) etc.
Note : Vc increases with the radius of the conductor and consequently corona discharge reduces with higher diameter conductor which is achieved by bundle conductor by increasing affective diameter using conducting ( CORONA) ring .
