The rotary scissors will help you free up strips of edged turf as well because you can get it low and cut gently ( horizontally ) into the side of the strip then pick it up with "grabbers" so you don't strain your back. Fine looking place your working today!
Nice job. I'm definitely getting one . How's it holding its edge? I use a fold up beach/festival trolley to cart multi tool ,blower and wolf tools. Saves a ton of time getting into back gardens. Chuck a tarp over if it starts pissing down and haven't lost anything this season.
I think it depends on what you are using it for and how often, I bought mine 2 years ago, and its still going strong, I do need the stihl version now as I have gone back to using stihl
Wouldn't the Ego edger be better for cutting in edges, just using the Rotocut to trim the tops of the grass around the edges? Both the edger and Rotocut attachments are on my purchase list for this coming season. Would you recommend them?
trouble with the edger along here is the stone, it would flick it everywhere, the rotocut will do the job a bit slower, but you wouldn't have stone flying about
I could have done with that bit of kit year's ago, I used to edge of miles of grass along pea gravel paths !🙄
the client does have wooden boards to separate the grass and gravel, but they need replacing. it worked better than I expected

@@TKG Excellent. Thanks. I did think the rotocut took a long time. But I can see why you chose that over the edger
Your nice and very dramatic opening titles are a bit spoiled by the title - ''The Kilted Gardener's''...the kilted gardener's...what?
the kilted gardeners's and idiot?
You can't do it.
? do what?
