Oh my God, I’m completely dead watching the whole bit that you had with the dog in the background. I’m like 100% the same kind of Neighbor or I freak out and go nuts and watch my cameras like a lunatic every time someone walks by with their dog, going up in my lawn all the way up to thebedroom window even in some cases and they’re letting their dog pee and poop on my lawn instead of the parkway strips
Man your dad reminds me of my CPO when I was stationed in Hawaii in the early '90s. He was always calm and laid back like your pops. I always get this sense of nostalgia when he's on camera. 🤙
That's funny cause Pops was stationed in Hawaii in the 90s I went to kindergarten Windward Side we lived in Honolulu! Pops said he was on the USS Ingersoll (DD-990) ☺️🤙🏾
I gotta say I think this sold me on ditching the string strimmer and going to a rotary scissors head for all my edging needs. Everything comes out even and looks effortless.
They both have their uses for sure though I have both! ☺️🤙🏾

My house is on a corner lot like yours and people who walks their dog thinks it is a drop zone for dogs If they pick up after their dog, I can live with it but they don't. Lucky I live in a HOA aera and we have rules about your pets. I filed a complaint with the HOA and showed them my camera videos and found out my yard is not the only drop zone with the same dog, so the HOA issued the dog owner a $200.00 dollar ticket. I do not see the dog anymore.

The ego edger’s blade is cheaper to replace. I wince every time I see you edge with the rotary scissors 😂. Like, don’t hurt the precious scissors!

Bro there are 2 sizes for the blades. I use the longer size to avoid scrapping the metal. Looking good!

I got the same rotary scissors and absolutely love it. Use them for the live landscaping edging and driveway edging. Then I use the straight edge edger for the sidewalk and curb. Then I use the string trimmer for the metal iron fence line edging

i would make a bucket of water steeped with yard/garden lime for emergency dog urine on yard.. & have 2 or 3 doggie treats when ever they go for walks

You got to get one of those printers that has the sensors on it so when the dog try to go on your lawn it’ll water the grass

Are the scissors better than using a string trimmer?
They have their own uses but rotary scissors are nice for short cut lawns that's for sure! I wouldn't get this look with a string trimmer ☺️🤙🏾
