    The O's can't seem to find or develop starting pitching, but they've done a great job finding and developing relievers. Cano, Bautista and Danny Coulombe are just the latest guys they've had success with. Last year it was Cionel Perez and Jorge Lopez. Even their 2012-2016 teams when they won the most games in the AL were carried by the lineup and bullpen. Now, if they could only get some good, consistent starting pitching.

      The starters have been much better than people are acknowledging. Kremer has turned it on since May 1st pitching to a mid 3 era, Bradish has an era under 4, and Wells is just over 3 era. Kyle Gibson has an era under 4. Grayson will surely come around just has to work on that finish that out pitch. The pitching has carried over since last season.

      I've been waiting since Mussina left us, for a true Ace to find there way to Camden Yards. I still hope Grayson Rodriguez or Kyle Bradish can be that guy.. they are still both really young and g rod only got a taste of the bigs so far, if he can make the adjustments and command the ball like he did last year...the stuff is fantastic. Just hope it's not another case of the Arrietta

    Ima orioles fan (also a ravens fan) and the only thing we need to be a World Series contender is pitching. We could sign Brandon Woodruff or We can trade for some decent type of pitcher so let’s hope we sign some good pitchers.

    Cano has been great, but in his last 4 or 5 appearances, he's been giving up hits and a couple runs. The league is slowly starting to figure him out

    • @JesusChrist2000BC
      @JesusChrist2000BC Год назад +2

      They got lucky they aren't figuring anything out. It's pretty much a guessing game swinging against him most will lose and that's why his ERA is still the lowest in the league.

    • @1georgekitchen
      @1georgekitchen Год назад +2

      Too early to tell if they're figuring him out or he's struggling with mechanics. Giving up 2 runs in 3 outings, isn't exactly falling apart. It just feels that way because of how dominate he's been.

    @mynameisgladiator1933 Год назад

    Interesting, appreciate the props but you haven't been watching his last 9 outings. He was unhittable and walked no one before but he's been getting hit solidly the last 9 outings since may 19. He still only allowed 3 runs over that span but if you watch him now, they've adjusted and are really squaring up his pitches. Jim Palmer says his slider doesn't seem to have the same movement lately.
    Seriously though, he was only "great" for 7 weeks of his entire career and everyone jumped on that bandwagon. Let's let this play out a little longer before we start anointing him for Cooperstown.

    Twins traded him for a guy who’s having issues pitching and with his mental facilities. He’s so bad he was placed on the IL. Cano goes to the Orioles, makes a change or 2 in his delivery and is one of the better relievers in the game. Talk about a stupid trade by management. It also clearly shows how the Twins on field coaching is absolutely garbage from the Manager to the coaches at all levels.
