    While the Lemons were the quietest I think the Bluish White had a more calm sound profile.

    You put the switches in the keyboard with the north LED and cherry profile keycaps. Because of this, intrerfernce may appear on switches with a short stem

      @@geekey Thanks for the reply. I find that kinda weird because the gateron g pro brown is pretty darn smooth (for a tactile). How are the lemons, because I hear they are similar in terms of light tactility, so I hope they might be a smoother replacment for silent browns?

      hmm I prefer brown switches for gaming (Gateron, cherry or whatever) cause it has little tactility (not just smooth pressing like linear) and its spring pressure is not that high.

    Hey there i know this is a bit of an older video but i was planing on getting a new keyboard switching from the cherry speed silvers to another very low actuation force switch.
    Ive been eyeing up those ttc silent bluish whites and was wondering if you knew whether or not their similar to the speed silvers and had any recomendations for a similar switch with quieter sound.
    Thanks for the video its a huge help already ❤❤❤

    • @geekey
      @geekey  Год назад +1

      hello, unfortunately I’ve never tried Cherry speed silver before🥲 But, one thing is clear that speed silver is not same as silent bluish white. They are definitely different🙂
      I recommend boba u4. Its tactility is strong and nicely made switches.

    • @rodneyfan701
      @rodneyfan701 Год назад

      @geekey thanks so much for the response!
      the bobas absolutely sound super quiet and nice. I am worried about the actuation force being a little high as I like pressing keys super lightly.
      In your experience, what is your opinion on actuation force? I know there are quite a few factors like pre travel and bottom out. With so many switch options, it's quite hard to choose, lol
      Thank you for your suggestion 😊

    • @geekey
      @geekey  Год назад

      oh, I see. That’s why you’ve been using Cherry Silvers.
      hmm, I recommend to change switches spring which you like. Silvers’ spring force is super light and there are no silent switches with light springs as far as I know😂
      There are many parameters in switches, but what is the actual force of this switch is mostly related to ‘Bottom force’

    • @rodneyfan701
      @rodneyfan701 Год назад

      @geekey I had never thought about changing the springs of the switches. This is a huge revelation. I think I may try that. I am quite particular about the feel of the key, to be honest.
      I guess I'm going to need more research. Thank you so much for your help!
