Take care of yourself!! Make sure you do what you need to get better. It doesn't do you any good to push yourself. We understand and will watch the Sit Rep videos and will be glad when you are healthy and can do normal videos again. Your fan base is not going anywhere.

Man I love this video Brad. I love when you and Regina get together with Matt and Cara. The trails you guys take us to are breathtaking and beautiful blend that with a couple of friends and what a dream job. As a guy in my 50’s, I’m glad to hear your health issue is not anything life threatening.
Let yourself heal man. You have to take care of your health. People understand, especially the people on here that are getting older and don’t heal as fast as we used to. I don’t know about anyone else, but I live in upstate New York, we get snow and ice. If I slip and fall, before I even move, I check to make sure that I can still wiggle my feet. I used to just jump back up. Pretty messed up, now I sit for a minute to make sure I can still feel all of my extremities. Take care man. Be safe.
I love the personal touch of these SITREPs. Wish you a speedy recovery, but I please keep the coming even when you're back to full filming mode.

I had a slap tear at 35yo and waited till 40 to have surgery, should never have waited. Feels great now

Love the sitreps. Those mudflaps make a lot of sense. I get mud all over my gladiator and I only have 10” wide tires. I may do this upgrade.

Having suffered rotator cuff injuries 8 years ago, I went through over a year of PT and got a lot stronger, but only to about 90-95% recovery. I finally opted for PRP therapy and shortly after the third shot had completely recovered. I highly recommend looking into it to see if it’s appropriate for your situation. Good luck!

I have the same mud flaps on my Mojave and they work great. Reduces dings from rocks as well as less mud. Had to do some custom cutting around the rock rail steps to make them fit. Best wishes with the shoulder healing.

I feel for you. I dislocated my shoulder ice racing a motorcycle 15 years ago and it hasn’t been the same since then. Take all the time you need to recover. We’ll wait. Love the channel. 👍🏼

The desert is perfect after a good rain. The plants and animals love it and it keeps the dust down. I spent most of my early wheeling/exploring days in the Vegas and Phoenix areas. The Mojave Desert was a lot more windy than the Sonoran desert. I think it’s due to the fact that the valleys have higher elevation contrast with the mountains, as they are somewhat higher in elevation than the ones in the Sonoran desert. Like you, I despise the wind. Lol! Great report as always!

I run the Teraflex Axis mud flaps on my jku I love them. It’s not about looks not that I mind the looks of them but the functionality is just great. They protect your vehicle and people that follow from getting lobbed by a huge rock that your MTs picked up. I hope your shoulder heals soon. I have suffered rotator cuff injuries and I completely understand.
Heal up ! Fast recovery. I would love 70 degrees. It’s presently 41 and snow forecast Friday and Saturday. Nice video again !

Hello Brad. I just joined the TraiRecon Adventure Crew. I love all the information that you put out. I am very new to the Jeep Family. I just bought a 2024 JLU Rubicon. It is still completely stock. My gas struts for the hood came in today and can't wait to put them on this weekend. I had no idea overlanding was such a big thing. I live in Washington and plan on hitting the WBDR this summer. I will probably have to do it in a couple of different outings. I can' wait!
Welcome to this Old Marines World Doc !!!! Knees are bad, Back is bad but I still get up everyday thank the Lord for what I have and make the most of it !!!! Chalk the injury up to getting older Brother !!! We don't bounce back like we used to but we still get up and get er done !!!

We all feel the same way -- your health comes first. Whatever you put out on social media, we'll be watching. Definitely enjoying these two SITREP videos. Your videos are always perfect, but sometimes watching the "flaws" (not really) and not worrying about all that editing is nice to see.

I just had hip replacement surgery last Thursday, so no driving for a month or so for me (that’s what I’m told), and just staring at my Gladiator and XJ is already killing me! No worries on fewer adventure videos, just get yourself healed up properly, we’ll watch pretty much whatever you decide to give us.

Man I hear ya on the shoulder injury. I’m just now getting over a pinched nerve in my neck that affected my shoulder and you feel so useless not being able to do things like you normally would.
We don’t heal up like we used to when we were younger unfortunately. The physical therapy seems to take forever but it was nice to have someone to work through it with and discuss your progress, what helped, what didn’t, etc.
Take your time getting better and we can wait for that next awesome adventure video.

I know how it feels. I dislocated my shoulder when I had a stroke and fell down couldn’t feel my right side so I did not know my shoulder was dislocated but doing better. Thanks for the video. Don and Donna north Idaho
sorry to hear about your shoulders. after three dislocations, surgery, and a 15 year later jump accident, i can relate. as a medic you know what you have to do....... best wishes for a rapid and complete recovery.
I had bilateral stem-cell injections. Although it took a year, the results were miraculous! With your background, I think you'll find that regenerative medicine is making great inroads!

Did the same thing back in 22’ Ended up having to have shoulder surgery. Out of the hospital the same day. VERY sore for about two weeks. Physical therapy for about 2 months and now in 2024 the only reminder of my injury is the two small scars from the procedure. Good luck bud.
Not nearly as cold in the morning this week I see. Such a great wintertime place to visit!
It was a bit warmer, but still just the perfect time of year to be out there.
Brad I can speak from experience, shoulder injuries suck.. take care of the shoulder.. I think everyone that watches your channel would much rather have you healed up versus trying to "man up" and produce trail videos. Well At least I do... get healthy, take care of yourself first,. The SITREP is an awesome, and now as a 9 Line.. wow bring back the memories! Keep up the good work, and take care of that shoulder!! Come on Doc.. you know the drill!!

Great stuff. First time in Southern California just 4 weeks ago realy nice. It was a bit cold at night but not too bad.
We had our starlink modified in Sandiago. so far, so go. They have a 12v conversion, but you have to pre-order. So I'll have to do that part myself.
Love the sit rep with setup reviews to give us fellow OL ideas.

Firstly, take care of yourself; it's super important to heal properly and come back strong. We will wait for you - you make excellent videos and we can be patient a bit longer. The mudflats are the best ;-) I have the same :-) I really like this kind of video, I hope that in your trip to the North Pole you will give us short and regular updates.

I recognized those Rokblokz mud flaps right away. I run them on my Gladiator to stay street legal. They are an in state company that I have supported with my last two Jeeps. Hope you get better soon. Take whatever time you need to recover we love whatever videos you put out.

Great video as usual. Love seeing 2 of my favorite creators at once. Anyway, I'm thinking you should drive Matt's Gladiator and see how you like his lift. You need to look at a different lift than you know who. Maybe try to buy American Sailor. I'm sure you have a lot of connections.
I have the same mudflaps on my gladiator. I love not having mud on my door handles. I never take them off when off-roading. They’re flexible enough to go over any rocks.
