    Atleast someone took the initiative to update the issues. Even my interrior was done by livspace and it was an bitter experience overall. The escalation team is no better than the flawed designers and execution team. There is no resolve once you are trapped there rather than to compromise. The overall team lacks basic common sense. My wardrobe was fixed upside down, Joints right in the middle of the Crockery unit top surface, cylinder unit had just 2 inches of clearance left, book shelf can accondate only the smallest size diaries , kitchen granite was installed on uneven height base cabinets and they kept grinding the top surface saying granite was faulty.
    Like most I got trapped by their promotions. They take down any feedback or reviews if negative on Facebook immediately and don't let true feedback come out.

    Sad to see this actually, with so much effort and planning and savings we try to make our dream house.

    Liv Space- Its the worst you would experience and that too spending a good chunk of your hard earner money. I went to the store, was damn happy with the designs and the initial team meet. Then the designer arrives, says ma home is too small and no designs I suggest can be done coz ma home is jus 1390 sqft. I had booked them paying 25 K, and the experience they provided me after paying the booking amount was something. I canceled and never got my money back. but bhailog, losing 25 K was okay for me instead of losing the whole 725 k. Dislike these people to the optimum. Please do spend some time, its your own home and you are paying, get it done from people who care, not from liv space.

      We also visited Livspace, but during our initial meeting, they immediately asked us to book their services and tried to pressure us into doing so. They then offered us a discount, which didn't feel sincere.

      Budget friendly?... They gave quotation for kitchen was 1.50 lakhs Which you can make in 60 thousands with better quality wood.

    Thank you Krishna for sharing the information in detail. I too have been going through a lot of reviews for multiple vendors and everywhere there are reviews with bad experience. How does one even choose which vendor to go with when all one sees is only negative reviews? In the customer service industry there will be both positive and negative instances, it would be good if people with good experience too share their experiences as that way atleast based on the average score one may take a decision. I reviewed multiple interior companies online and could say if we really go with these reviews we cannot make up our mind ever. Hence its unfortunate that people go through bad experience which they should never given that our hard earned money goes in to it, we will still need to go with some risk always. These are my few cents, BTW Its been 2 weeks and I am still searcing for my interior!!

      My personal opinion: Upcoming company Bonito designs is good. I am not their customer though. Check with any company that doesn’t have any vendors and has inhouse end to end team.
      Livspace has mostly vendors, > 60% of work is out sourced and my TV unit and pooja unit colours(different shades of white) are different because of different vendors.

    I hate livspace and have lost money after paying them an advance. But here I believe you are being too critical with the soft closures. They should replace it the ones that don’t work. Or you can report to the consumer court. Since livspace comes with a 10 year warranty I believe. You can’t bang a soft closure door to test. It will break. For door closure noise please apply some sort of velvet pads on the surface behind the doors that comes in contact. There are plenty of options online. That’s why people like me hate livspace. The company is full of morons. They use good quality products though. The reason I went to them in the first place. I completely empathise with you bro. Furniture is made with a lot of emotions.

    As a designer I wanna clear some points
    *TV unit drawers.
    1- actually small drawers don't work as softclosing. Less than 12" softclosing channels are not available in much brands.
    2-drawer size is more than 1'6" so it's shaking while opening. When you put load in it, it will work fine.
    *Pooja unit
    1-Glass profile doors usually makes sound, or any company hinges makes sound.livspace should have use hettich standard hinges instead of low budget.
    2- there's a setting in auto hinges , any carpenter or livspace can solve this issue in a minute.
    *Wardrobe
    1-profile glass shutter hinged wardrobe must be avoided as it's cost much for service and no safety.
    2- the overlap of door is bcs, there no space between two units for door opening.
    *Dressing
    1- kindly remove and fix another latch / chain to avoid sound.
    One this is for sure I wanna say, modular furniture will cost you more in terms of service. Hinges will make sound or breakdown within year.
    I will suggest people should go with carpentery work. It's time consuming but lasts forever.
    Best brands for modular kitchen/interior
    1- ebcoo- Hinges, fitting
    2- Hafele- kitchen fittings
    3- Godrej - channel

    It’s been two years and I really don’t have any problems. I raised twice issue with hinges, shelves close . They immediately attended at free of cost. It’s absolutely professional. My flat is at Vijayawada. You can trust Livspace.

    Totally agree with you. Looks like Livspace show things good only in advertiesment rest evrything is so much frustrating. Very pathentic service by Livspace. Took more than 6 months for our projeect and still issues not resolved. Very bad designing, 100, 200 mm kitchen cabinets shutter, we are not able to put plates in plate stand. filled a lot of space with fillers etc many issues are there.All false commitmnet.

      Same feeling, I had complained and auditing officer had come home. He checked one of the unusable cabinet(opening very hard, not soft closure) and told its as per the design.
      At the time designer told Livspace does only soft closure.
      Project manager doesn’t know where the locker will be fixed, he just left in the wardrobe without any fixing.

    Unrelated suggestion - when clicking a video in portrait mode, never switch to landscape..choose your orientation right from the start or the video is not pleasant to watch. For most videos longer than five mins by default choose landscape orientation on your phone and never make it vertical or the video is sc****d.

    Live space is earning alot of margin by using low quality of wood. The wood they use if MDF which is low quality one. They buy all such scrap in bulk and then make us fool

    Majority of the drawers and shelves are faulty...however some of the drawers u have to be gentle with them, if you pull it with such force the mechanism might break

      Same here! I later was give 1 lac discount plus hob and chimney which felt so gimmicky. Then i put them on hold.

    Thanks for this informative video. I just had a meeting with Livespace. Planning to get my apartment furnished but now it seems I should take a step back.
    They told they have a 10 yrs warranty did you discussed with them ? Also what is the current update for this issues ? Did they fixed ?

      The issues of vendor furniture (third party custom furniture) are fixed promptly in time. The issues of the Livspace inhouse furniture are not fixed, instead they refunded 2% of the project cost as I escalated to higher levels. Livepace also paid me 3% of delay penalty. Project id: 771058, as you are already discussing, Livspace will share all details of my project before you pay booking amount.
      Urban company fixed some of the issues.

    Some problems which you have mentioned about the door and wardrobes making too much noise is because your house is still empty. Any product however premium will make noise at the end of the day it's wood. Given in this video the house is still under construction I am sure the furniture door touching each other issue would also be resolved. Doesn't seem that big a problem to be honest seems like you are trying to find faults because the project maybe delayed. Anyways sad to see that it wasn't what you expected

      Urban company carpenter doesn’t feel like you.
      One of the Livspace employee told me to fill the unit after that it won’t make noise and another guy said the sound is coming because I filled the unit, if I remove all the weight it will move freely. Carpenter from Urban company changed the tires after which noise is gone. In the crockery unit Livspace installed SAMET channels which are very inconvenient, carpenter replaced them to EBCOO channels, solved my problem.

      I agree 100% with u Rohan... Anf one thing I cant understand that when they know all the doors are soft closures then why are they banging the door so hard.... If the error was in 1 or 2 units, we can understand but here each n every unit is giving problem n Iam very much confident that LIVSPACE BRAND will nvr make such type of blunder... So for me its really hard to digest the 3entire vdo content.

    This is installation issue i suppose it's something that is easy fix .. soft close drawers are anyday hard to open when new.. because of its mechanism once you start using they become smoother but yes there seems to be issues with installation in your overall project.. hope your issue was resolved... And i can imagine what you feel like

      The issues are not resolved, instead they offered me 35% off on the next purchase or refund of 5% of current project value. I choose the refund.
      None of the Livspace products are good, they spend on marketing than quality.

    As an interior designer I can say only one thing that guys if you want really quality work please please please go with local interior designing farms...they can deliver you far better things in this same or less budget...please don't go with brands...
    Lastly it's your money so it's your desicion...
    I can only suggest...

I was thinking of going with LiveSpace for my 3BHK but not anymore! all their designs and TV commercials are awesome and I fell for it just like so many people did. What's the update though did you get your refund? What's your overall experience? would you recommend them at all?

      I don’t recommend Livspace, if you are already opted, best way to get good service is to opt for custom designs. Livspace hire local vendors usually for custom designs. I haven’t received refund yet, tired of following up. My project on site work started in end of August and completed in end of December with worst quality, which is promised to be completed in 45 days.

      Not piece to piece warranty.
      The carpenters and electricians don’t have knowledge on what they are installing.
      It’s not even 6months one of the Livspace installed switch(anchor brand) is faulty. The electrician asked me purchase myself new switch - Livspace electrician number +91 98861 80013

    I am not satisfied with Livspace. Total shabby job done for my kitchen. Not a trained carpenter and team. They’ve ruined my Kitchen cabinets by cutting the wrong shade of laminate. I had paid more than half in advance. not paid the balance. I literally had to kick them out.

      As I have experienced a local carpenter just nods and do what we say. But liv space provides excellent ideas in terms of space utilisation and designs and lastly the final look is the wow factor.

      @@shalinikamath7621 the designs are easy to get if you spend time to do research, but USABILITY is very bad in Livspace. I have call recordings where the Livspace management says that most of the issues in the video are design problems and they cannot change the design as I signed on it.
      DESIGN PHASE at Livspace is very crucial, please take any local vendor approval before you sign on the design, most of the vendor have better knowledge than the unskilled designers.
      The designers at Livspace don’t know any practical problems nor they are interested to know. As I mentioned earlier I will share the details on #livspacefoolingpeople soon

      @@Skrishnateja06 I think the designer you came across was really not good. There is always a black sheep. My interior designer was very knowledgeable infact was reluctant to many changes which we suggested, which we later realised was indeed right! The after sales service on all occasions have addressed my complaint in 2 working days. We wanted a one stop service as we are working couple and we did not find the local contractors confident enough to carry the changes and the look within 45 days . well its an individual experience which cannot conclude the service levels of Livspace or any local carpenter.       @@shalinikamath7621 I am happy to know your experience. Usually Livspace outsources work to local vendors who fixes the issues within a day Or two. In my case the pooja unit and kitchen granite cutting issues are fixed in a day after the complaint by the vendors. Where as the Livspace in house modular issues are never fixed even after multiple escalations. May be your entire project is outsourced, since your issues are resolved soon.

    The vendor for the cupboard can place some kind of styrofoam for the cupboard to level the sound off, for the drawers they have clearly not put 1 or 2 parts and saved cost, it would have cost them roughly 400 rupees each desk but they wanted to make it that way so they save on a few thousand rupees, sorry for your loss.

      Yes I had spent 10L in 2021 for 2bhk only wood work. Long term support is also not that good, Livspace takes 1 week serve any request in Bangalore.

    Tell them to change all the hinges of HETICH brand. it will be fixed. In drawer also use soft close mechanism of HETICH brand.

      Thanks for the advice. Hetich hinges comes in different quality. Livspace used cheapest available, Hetich, Samet and Kaff hinges/channels. When asked about the quality Livspace administration(manager of the project lead) showed my signature on the bill off materials.

      @@Skrishnateja06 I have done my home interior with local carpenter. I designed everything myself with the help of Pinterest. I used all hinges and soft close mechanism and sliding door mechanism of HETICH Brand. After one year also, not a single problem is there. No sound at all. Soft close is very smooth. In all the materials of HETICH, there was written made in Germany. In kitchen's channel also I have used HETICH brand. No problem in soft close yet. They have given 10 years warranty. You have invested 10 lacks but then also LIVSPACE has used local products I think.

      I got fooled by the brand name Hettich, did not check the product series name. I don’t want anyone else have this experience, just sharing my views.

      Not in all places. Hafell and Hettich also comes in different qualities, they have used less quality products. Some places they have used different brand Samet.
      Inspect with third party carpenter before signing on the completion document.

    I doubt if thisvis Livspace really as they don't provide side channels. Their channel will be in the bottom of drawer

      The designer has designed it that way, all the pull out drawers have side channels except the Pooja unit(made by third party Livspace vendor).

      Hi Mayank,
      Livspace didn’t fix some of the issues. They said “the design itself is like that and I approved the design.” They wanted to save me money(of 2000 rupees) so they use economic designs.
      My project cost is 10Lakhs and I signed on a 20 page document I can’t understand everything.

    Looks like site is not finished yet. And they have to solve the snags. Soft close channels if it is chiniese also it ll be soft close. If it not going softly means that hinge is not soft close you might have opted for normal closed. Always check your quote before proceeding.
    Would like to hear form you is these resolved or what is the final outcome.

      I had opted for soft close hinges. The hinges in Pooja unit and kitchen are replaced. The soft close channels in crockery unit I have replaced with help of urban company carpenter. TV and other places the soft closure is not working.
      Livspace had refunded some of the money for not fixing the snags.

    For information. Soft close works well when you fully open the drawer, door, cabinets etc. Half opening won't make it work properly. So either you have half knowledge or they company didn't tell you this. 👍💯

      Same response from Livspace company told me that the soft closures installed in bedroom are working better by mistake and they said they can’t do anything about those.
      Poor third party vendor replaced the hinges in Pooja, crockery unit and they are working fine now by mistake. You can get the full knowledge about the hinges from Livspace, they give you demo.

      Everything was done through Livspace, modular is factory made and non modular is made by third party vendors hired by Livspace. The vendors are not intelligent (they tried to brake my front door). But I should appreciate the vendors, fixed all the issues we have reported. Vendors didn’t touch the modular/factory made furniture. Livspace said they can’t do anything as the furniture is as per the design and size I approved. They refunded 5% of project cost as some of the factory made units are completely useless.(unusable)

    I agree with a whole lot of things shown on the video but for the drawers i refuse to agree. the channels will make noise if you pull the drawer hard and will make that thumping noise if you simply push it hard ! thats normal. things are supposed to be handled lightly. i have nothing to do with Livspace rather im one of their competitors but i only felt like leaving this feedback because thats a wrong representation. also yes its evident that they have probably used lighter channels and hinges and ply to complete their work, the finish on the mandir shutter also looks shoddy just to make an extra buck out of it. so all their offering at 2.5L for a home interior is all a sham. service providers and manufacturers need to bear in mind that the client is investing in it with their hard earned money. so either you do the right job instead of running dreamy and nonsensical ads or youu simply dont take up the project at all if you know you wont be able to provide the kind of product you should be providing the client with ! move onto the next client ! we REFUSE projects if the money doesnt suit our offering because we make zero compromises with raw materials and finishes. We believe that if we ourselves dont like the way it looks or its built, how can we give it to the client like that ?

      Thanks for your comment, when I am spending 10lakh for 2bhk for only wooden work, it is my right to expect good quality. All of these installations were present in experience centre. We chose directly from their and modified Color and finish. There is lot of difference in quality promised and delivered. Livspace refunded 5% of project cost.
      * Livspace suggested to get replacement with new at 30% discount.

I'd even underlined that the service providers and manufacturers cant simply keep taking up jobs just for the sake of taking up a job while they know they will have to cut corners to complete and deliver. What they show at experience centers is not only manufactured using top end materials but they are also subjected to regular maintenance which wont be the case with a product they deliver. The products do emanate shoddy worksmanship. But just that one or 2 might behave this way is all i meant. We are architects with a manufacturing facility so we know how it goes with a whole lot of such manufacturers. You feel duped purely by such a cash rich company that attracts a huge clientele absent scruples and ethics.

    Are khali kamre me waise v aawaaz bahut aati hai, 2nd jis tarah se tum khol rhe ho drawer normally log waise kholte v nahi hai na hi band karte hain, aur 3rd aata hai aapka budget.... Aap ... Material acha wala liye hi nahi hoge that's why .... Ye noise issue aap dikha rhe ho 2nd aisa lag rha hai jaise ki avi newly aap karaye ho toh agar new karaye ho toh ye issue jo hai wo aapko is tarah issues k sath handover hi nahi karega

      @rajjarya Thanks for your comment, same dialog was mentioned by Livspace( may be you are also trained by them)(Livspace bhi waist dialog bola tha). I had got the channels changed for the drawers and tall unit to KAFF from Urban company, Livspace refunded 5% project cost (Urban company carpenter ne channels badal diya, uksa paisa 50k Livspace ne diya, refund invoice Quora me dala dekh lo bhai).
      My neighbor tried to open the drawer and she almost fell down for the Jerk.(Padosi ne gharana dekhne keliye aya, usko Jerk laga drawer kholne vakt). 10 lakh for interior for 2bhk kam nahi hai, Livspace cheap quality products bhejtha hai mujhe maloom nahi hai.

      There are 140+ quality issues currently at the my home. There is no use of escalating. Better not go for Livspace.
      You can get qualified designers and good auditing team who review the work if you do research.

    Then what’s the difference between the local carpenters and these warranty based corporate offerings. The local carpenters are unreliable and we get irritated, seems same is the case with live space….noting the point that it’s 10 lakhs project

      Livspace gives subcontract to local carpenters. These subcontractors are skilled and do better designs in terms of looks and usability if you pay extra money.

      I don’t know the cancellation process. You can purchase furniture if they don’t refund.
      Thanks for watching, don’t go for Livspace the quality and usability of furniture is very bad. The carpenters are local contractors and have no idea on assembling new items(some don’t even have an ID card)

      I don't recommend Livspace, just 3 months suffering with functionality of most of the furniture. Choose quality over brand.

    The best part was mandir outer doesn't have laminate...can't u see that it's painted...and at last u said paint is of not good quality.

      We paid for laminate and got painted. The painter said if I pay him extra money he will do some emulsion coat.

      Lamination never will give proper finish. This should have been told by the designer

      Designer told me only inside(pooja area) laminate won’t be there.

      Thanks Shivaay. Livspace can solve the problems but they don’t want to. I have got solved some of the problems at very minimal prise through urban company. Video is just sharing my experience and suggesting others not to be fooled.
