Just to guide you for this modular unit 1. Every unit next to wall has fillers .. as it’s Modular it comes with standard size modules or boxes for your general sense to understand , fillers helps to adjust the space and 2nd helps to for shutters or door being scratched from the wall or next to unit any other object. 2. Talking about your loft , what they have given with frame that’s the best solution for that space utilisation due to weird size as there is beam passing through and there are size limitations and standards to look uniformaly. Also it helps in reducing cost 3. For wall cabinet that there are space left that is filler down side please inform the team to install bottom filler Patti so that there is no gap visible and there is no space for any insects to be stayed. Livspace steam should definitely able to make and it’s not a big deal as we do it as well. 4. Why your tandem drawers are more smooth coz they made to manufacture it in such way and used it , they are more Mordern approach for drawer system compared to your carpenter make channels as that are telescopic channels which require regular oiling with a certain duration and usages. 5. Wall cabinet without shutter , I am in doubt that what was your discussion with designer and you not okay with that ever means how did you give approval for that and went into production and installed ? I believe check with them and should definitely help you 6. Design and finish is perfect , it’s workmanship issue for fillers and ofcouse any modular furniture goes with a certain process in india or outside india it’s the same. Design stage payment and before delivery payment and all 😅 Also I am not from Livspace but I am into modular domain.
Or else below the filler they can ask for, bottom panel, and also the timeline is considered after the SOD,(SIGN OF DOCUMENT) or KOM(KICK OF MEETING) and I’m pretty sure that the designer have mentioned about the open unit in SOD it self.

Timelines are not honoured. You will be busy chasing them for updates. Young designers who can make great renders but lack practical knowledge around the kitchen and home. Dissapointed, to say the least

(I hope deir wood doesnt expand next year or comtract in winters as d fitment is done during monsoons). Customer centricty is d key for such startups to progress. 88k to livspace to build this incomplete unit. 4500 for granite. 2500 to install that granite. Total 95k. Local carpenters can make a similar thing for half the price if not less.
@@girishkanakaraj139 you are partially correct. You can search a good local carpentera because these local carpenters work under livspace or homelane.. If could design the blueprint in mm and instruct the carpenter what you need, you will get the result.
For a long time, I was looking for this kind of review of Livspace or homelane, thank you for sharing. As you say the material provided by livspace is very good and it's true but can you ever calculate the rate per square foot? As I saw the video the square foot rate could be almost 5000. Do you think that is it worth your money? I have little knowledge about this industry and I can say that if you hire any local good interior firm or consult a designer and give a contract to a local contractor then you could save a lot of money with 99% of the same product quality.
No local carpenter or interior designers would able to match the factory made fit and finish .. what they could have made is a replica that is first copy furniture like what you have shoes, bags and all 😅😂 modular furniture are expensive than traditional carpenter make , so it’s a choice wether to spend that much to get good finish.
I myself didn’t like their attitude in dealing. They give their charges list thats it. Charges are 50-60% higher than the market price for material + labor. if you have a lot of money and endless time to follow up, please approach them. Hilarious thing is when I had cancelled the project due to their undisclosed pricing and attitude issues, they emailed my by saying-‘ we can’t take your project. Please try some other time’.A great company with just english speaking staff but no expertise 🙄
Most of such companies are doing this kind of Interior work same way as they don't have applicants. They lift leads from market and deploy non regular or unprofessional designers & labours on sub contract basis. Materials are seems very nice but not much durable as its totally made of mdf or wpc or partical boards. Local carpenters or independent interior designers are always advisable for interior or construction work because they keep their own team of labours & technicians.
Amazing video bro.. This startup is trying to disrupt the opaque market for interiors.. But there are a lot of challenges of working in India.. We are making interiors for 4 floor building with livspace.. Will make a video about it. Maybe ikea is a better choice for furniture and livspace can do the barebone.

I should have watched this video earlier. In the initial meetings they claim they can do everything and once they have received 50% payment they say they only do modular and don't do electrical, plumbing and tiling work. I did kitchen interior from them. They did not tell me half of things like wicker basket, different types of laminates etc. Also plug points they had marked for microwave and exhaust fan went under cabinets and I had to again cut my walls on which final coat painting was done. One more thing they wont tell is drilling holes to fix spot lights or profile lights will nullify warranty.

Aur jo purana carbonate aapne dikhaya uska hinges screw loose ho gaya hai use kar kar ke. Chota issue hai screw tight karte hi solve ho jayega. "Pets k liye jagah di gai hai" 😂 ye bahut hi ultimate laga mujhe. 88k bahut jyada hai is furniture k liye. Jab ki upar wale unit me to sirf doors hi hai. Screws bhi bahut dikh rahe hai jo galat hai. Light ka issue to aapne bata hi diya. Agar Heavy se heavy material use karke bhi banate to carpenter ki majduri k sath max 50k tak ye ban jata. Main livspace ki franchise lene k bare me soch raha tha isliye aapka video search kiya. Disclaimer: I am a owner of a plywood and hardware shop from last 20 years.

Also godrej has promised me they will do everything like granite, design, wardrobe, acrylic finishing etc. Lets see howmit goes in my case
But, livspace shares with the 3D design and takes your approval for how much and what add ons they will add to each drawer/cabinet before finalizing and sending for production (i.e. through BOQ). I dont know if you had asked them for installation of shelves in your cabinets, but they did not do so. If it is the case, they did an unprofessional work.

For my wardrobe they said 120k. We paid the booking amount. Once design everything was finalized they increased the cost. We paid 2 lacks. Because they took the booking amount and smartly they didn't give the quotation at that time once work started than they gave the quotation
Apne Jo niche skirting dikha rahe ho wo pvc skirting hai ..wooden jada durable hai...Pani se damage nahi hota....ye apka carpenter dega nahi kiuki pricing jada lagte hai....aur pvc skirting silver ya black colour me hi ate hai...Rahi baat fillers kii...ap ek modular company se kaam karwa rahe hai apka wall even bhi rahega fir bhi kisi bhi module baithane se pehle 2" gap filler jarur dega ..kiuki kisi bhi module direct wall se connect nahi rehta...that's why wo apko warranty deta hai...agar apka wall damage rahega bhi to .. 3: screw visible rahega kiuki isiliye isko modular kehte hai, har ek panel machine finished hoke ata hai, ake site me fix hota hai.. carpenter work nahi hai ke pehle ply se box banake fir laminate paste karta hai.... 4: niche fillers Dena jaruri tha...ye points valid hai

Hi Anshul. I got this work done in Lucknow. They do provide electrical and granite work in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc. However, in tier 2 cities their scope is restricted to just carpentry work. Talking about design. Yes, their design team takes everything for granted. After this RUclips video got views, I was contacted by the higher management who went ahead and fixed the issues. The customisations which weren’t in their scope previously, it all suddenly came under their scope and the work was done flawlessly. I have shown that in another video. Do check it out from the pinned comment. If you want a modular kitchen, I think there are better options than livspace if you don’t want to go for a local carpenter. Thanks.
they have not refunded the booking amount of 1, 01,000 rupees after we have cancelled the project. They have cheated us. Worst option which we can ever go for is Livspace interior designers.please don't opt them for ur project.
These companies are only about building brands and they forget about providing quality. The reason they hire big stars is because they don't have adequate quality and they invest in Celebrities rather than investing in customers. I had the same type of pathetic experience with Livspace and Pepperfry. 💩🤬
@@yashgupta2772 Godrej interio might be something worth looking at. I haven’t used it myself but I have heard good things about it. For furniture, if you are in Delhi/NCR, local furniture market can make a similar piece for a fraction of the price. I have tested that.
Comment on starting clip, modular units are made like that you should know, there is always human error while construction to overcome that modular designer always use a safety factor 50mm usually.
Because people are only trusting brand and advertising not quality products and trust me interior is not a coding job it’s purely dependent on labour which we Caanva home interiors trust in it please don’t go into trap in name of brand interior never require a brand
Dude, installing a granite panel on the wall after installing cabinetry sounds like a bad idea. The wall needs to be prepared for granite sheet and the process may damage the cabinetry.
Actually they are selling furniture in name of interior. even we can see your space still showing incomplete after spend this amount This space could have been designed much better. Problem:- they people based on dimension making unit/furniture without visiting actual requirement. they are not in interior business they doing better carpenter work. interior work is e2e delivery- that they are not providing. Seems heavy weight items may be kept in your kitchen - you can avoid this better soft closure and installation. Thank you
Good people of India, please understand that this company will lure you in with promises of very low quotations and you will end up paying through your nose. I made the mistake of putting down 30k booking amount, before realizing they are overcharging by lacs. Asked for a refund but now not only are they forcing me to spend the 30k they want to extort 70k more?! Talk of unethical advertising. Fillers is using for wall andolation person and moisture free to cabinate , designers will tell u everything but i think u don't listen , what they said 🤣🤣 , in top every one use only frame and shatter not box , because its too cost for box.livspace is blindly giving 10 years warranty , any corpenter or other interior studios are give full 10 years warranty please let me know.i think As per ur request they doo the designs like thiss.
Hi Dileep. Appreciate your comment. 10 years warranty is just a gimmick in my opinion. Good luck claiming that warranty. They are saying they will fix these issues through a warranty claim but haven’t heard back from them ever since. In terms of after sales experience, Livspace is worse or almost the same as a local carpenter.
Its sad that you had such a bad experience through Livspace. We , normally, don't hear such mismanagement from this company. I want to add few points here. 1) You have focussed on space wastage on either side of the cabinet. The question is - how did you approve their design on the first hand if you did not like it? My believe is that once you approve the design , then only, further carpentry work would have happened. 2) You talked about the granite stuff. They do granite work. And, they have all the ranges of granites in their collection. You told that you had to separately purchased the granite? It does not add up. 3) You talked about the top most storage unit where they did not provide the drawers but simply an empty space. It must have been clearly mentioned in the design. Then, why are you complaining afterwards? If you would have liked the drawers, they would have installed it. 4) You talked about the cove light under the storage unit. What actually happened there - you did not mention it clearly. 5) You talked about the bottom skirting part to be black. That too, must have been discussed during design phase. 6) You told that it has taken 3 months for your things to get done. Livspace is known to deliver complete interior solutions of 3 BHK within 60 days. So, I am not sure what went wrong here. I think you misunderstood the design part. Once the carpentry work got done, you did not like the output.

It turned out to be worse than a contractor. 1: Being a layman, I did point out the space wastage on both the sides of the unit. I was told that fillers are necessary as this is a modular unit and it cannot be customised. I had faith on the designers and I mostly thought that they know better. I still don’t have a problem with fillers. The point I tried to make in the video is that carcass wasn’t made in the upper cabinet cos it would have had wasted space, but they were okay to waste space using fillers everywhere. 2: You are absolutely correct. They do granite work and even electrical work. But that’s only there in Tier 1 cities. I stay in Lucknow and over here the experience was even worse than a local contractor cos livspace only takes care of the carpentry work. They won’t even customise anything. Whatever if there in the design. They will just do that. If there is a screw missing in the design. That screw will be missed in the unit. And they won’t even care to fix that. So I had to buy granite and get it fixed myself. 3: There were no drawers required in the top unit. An empty storage space was the requirement. However, it was just a frame that was installed and no carcass. That was done to keep the cost in check. Also that would’ve taken some space. Now you can refer to point number 1. 4: I was told there will be provision of profile lighting made inside the unit. Somehow they forgot to add that. They remembered this later and all they could do was apologise. 5: No discussion regarding skirting was done. I didn’t even know a skirting will be applied in this unit. As I said, I am a layman and that’s why I approached livspace. Thought that they will take care of things by themselves and I won’t need to have knowledge about carpentry. 6: It took 3 months for them to deliver this unit. They kept designing this for 2 months. I used to joke with their designers saying it feels like you’re building the Taj Mahal. I listened to them when they used to explain the 2D design part. They used to suggest me stuff and I used to say yes. It is not always easy for a layman to paint an exact picture. This is why I approached them. So I won’t need to think and the work will be flawless. Adarsh, the follow up video on livspace is going to come really soon. You should definitely stick around to see what changes they have done to this unit after this video went a bit viral.

Fake commitments and offer from sales team at time of booking with live space. Especially when you come to final order placement after multiple meetings all of sudden things which were promised then becomes beyond livspaces scope .

Appreciate your comment. As far as my experience is concerned, you could go with anyone but Livspace. Noida has good local furniture/interior markets. I would recommend to try them first. You may consider Godrej for kitchen work. I have not personally used them but I liked the design and the quality of their material.
I also never recommand livespace..i am waiting since 6 months still they are only finilizing designs and employees are so rude as we have to go only with their suggestions(also employess are not available for long time and most of the times they are on leaves)...they are not ready to do anything according to our suggestions....also they are taking too much cost (2.50 lac)for only kitchen...also they are giving us only fixed unit(doors) instead of drawers and trawley for kitchen in this budget......at the end i want to cancle order and want my refund back but they are not ready for refund (as per their company policy)....worst experiancing
If you’d ask me, I won’t recommend anyone to go with livspace. Although after this video has gained some popularity, livspace has made some changes to this unit. I will be making a follow up video possibly this weekend. You shud watch that.
Ask for refund. If they will not agree for refund then buy some other things like chimney or any other things. They can provide only good quality but can't customize anything and also waste your so much space.

Honestly speaking, I had seen their ad during the IPL season on TV. I thought let’s give them a try. I was and I still am a noob when it came to furniture. I didn’t know jack shit about the making and technical terminology. I thought a local carpenter will scam me and the work will not turn out to be the way I want. With livspace, I was under the impression that I won’t need to know anything about the technicalities and they will just handle everything. So I went ahead and the rest is history.

Generally for a good cupboard at this time they will charge 350 to 400 max if it's a good and honest carpenter with acrylic you may have to go to 450

My review: aapke purane kitchen se direct comparison nahi hoga, kyunki live space ka aapka furniture unused hai, ekdam naya hai. Aur aapke kitchen k drawer jo aapne dikhaye wo size me bade hai, heavy loaded hai air aawaj utensils ki aa rahi hai. Aur jo purana carbonate aapne dikhaya uska hinges screw loose ho gaya hai use kar kar ke. Chota issue hai screw tight karte hi solve ho jayega.
"Pets k liye jagah di gai hai" 😂 ye bahut hi ultimate laga mujhe.
88k bahut jyada hai is furniture k liye. Jab ki upar wale unit me to sirf doors hi hai. Screws bhi bahut dikh rahe hai jo galat hai. Light ka issue to aapne bata hi diya.
Agar Heavy se heavy material use karke bhi banate to carpenter ki majduri k sath max 50k tak ye ban jata.
Main livspace ki franchise lene k bare me soch raha tha isliye aapka video search kiya.

Yeah. I haven’t used Godrej personally but I’ve heard positive reviews. When it comes to Livspace, I’ll never recommend them to anyone.

But, livspace shares with the 3D design and takes your approval for how much and what add ons they will add to each drawer/cabinet before finalizing and sending for production (i.e. through BOQ). I dont know if you had asked them for installation of shelves in your cabinets, but they did not do so. If it is the case, they did an unprofessional work.
Wow that’s such a nice idea. Had there been shelves the space would’ve been utilised better. Thanks for suggesting. Too bad there was no such idea provided by the designing team.

Your kitchen cabinets are not smooth because they are SS based…you can get the Chanel changed, else use tandem drawers like liv space
For my wardrobe they said 120k. We paid the booking amount. Once design everything was finalized they increased the cost. We paid 2 lacks. Because they took the booking amount and smartly they didn't give the quotation at that time once work started than they gave the quotation

Of course, the skirting can be changed, a filler can be given at the bottom of the cabinet and front panel at the bottom leading edge of the cabinet.

The skirting they have put is PVC skirting which can be removed.
That’s why get the kitchen done by livespace or homelane, remaining cabinets and wardrobes can be done by any carpenter.
Apne Jo niche skirting dikha rahe ho wo pvc skirting hai ..wooden jada durable hai...Pani se damage nahi hota....ye apka carpenter dega nahi kiuki pricing jada lagte hai....aur pvc skirting silver ya black colour me hi ate hai...Rahi baat fillers kii...ap ek modular company se kaam karwa rahe hai apka wall even bhi rahega fir bhi kisi bhi module baithane se pehle 2" gap filler jarur dega ..kiuki kisi bhi module direct wall se connect nahi rehta...that's why wo apko warranty deta hai...agar apka wall damage rahega bhi to ..
3: screw visible rahega kiuki isiliye isko modular kehte hai, har ek panel machine finished hoke ata hai, ake site me fix hota hai.. carpenter work nahi hai ke pehle ply se box banake fir laminate paste karta hai....
4: niche fillers Dena jaruri tha...ye points valid hai

I just received a quote from livespace for modular kitchen that I want.This video helped me to sum up some points.
1. Waranty consideration if we drill hole or modify something.
2. No electrical fitting
3. No civil work like granite etc
4. Worthless and time waste during designing phase.
5.Much pricier than carpenter.

Hi Anshul. I got this work done in Lucknow. They do provide electrical and granite work in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc. However, in tier 2 cities their scope is restricted to just carpentry work.
Talking about design. Yes, their design team takes everything for granted. After this RUclips video got views, I was contacted by the higher management who went ahead and fixed the issues. The customisations which weren’t in their scope previously, it all suddenly came under their scope and the work was done flawlessly. I have shown that in another video. Do check it out from the pinned comment.
If you want a modular kitchen, I think there are better options than livspace if you don’t want to go for a local carpenter. Thanks.

they have not refunded the booking amount of 1, 01,000 rupees after we have cancelled the project. They have cheated us. Worst option which we can ever go for is Livspace interior designers.please don't opt them for ur project.
Yes getting a refund from Livspace is harder than walking on a moon. I tried asking them for it myself. They denied it saying the work has started.

These companies are only about building brands and they forget about providing quality. The reason they hire big stars is because they don't have adequate quality and they invest in Celebrities rather than investing in customers. I had the same type of pathetic experience with Livspace and Pepperfry. 💩🤬

@@yashgupta2772 Godrej interio might be something worth looking at. I haven’t used it myself but I have heard good things about it. For furniture, if you are in Delhi/NCR, local furniture market can make a similar piece for a fraction of the price. I have tested that.

Comment on starting clip, modular units are made like that you should know, there is always human error while construction to overcome that modular designer always use a safety factor 50mm usually.
Because people are only trusting brand and advertising not quality products and trust me interior is not a coding job it’s purely dependent on labour which we Caanva home interiors trust in it please don’t go into trap in name of brand interior never require a brand
Dude, installing a granite panel on the wall after installing cabinetry sounds like a bad idea. The wall needs to be prepared for granite sheet and the process may damage the cabinetry.

I made the mistake of putting down 30k booking amount, before realizing they are overcharging by lacs. Asked for a refund but now not only are they forcing me to spend the 30k they want to extort 70k more?! Talk of unethical advertising. Fillers is using for wall andolation person and moisture free to cabinate , designers will tell u everything but i think u don't listen , what they said 🤣🤣 , in top every one use only frame and shatter not box , because its too cost for box.livspace is blindly giving 10 years warranty , any corpenter or other interior studios are give full 10 years warranty please let me know.i think As per ur request they doo the designs like thiss.

10 years warranty is just a gimmick in my opinion. Good luck claiming that warranty. They are saying they will fix these issues through a warranty claim but haven’t heard back from them ever since. In terms of after sales experience, Livspace is worse or almost the same as a local carpenter.
Why don’t you show your house done by livspace
Its sad that you had such a bad experience through Livspace. We , normally, don't hear such mismanagement from this company. I want to add few points here.
1) You have focussed on space wastage on either side of the cabinet. The question is - how did you approve their design on the first hand if you did not like it? My believe is that once you approve the design , then only, further carpentry work would have happened.
2) You talked about the granite stuff. They do granite work. And, they have all the ranges of granites in their collection. You told that you had to separately purchased the granite? It does not add up.
3) You talked about the top most storage unit where they did not provide the drawers but simply an empty space. It must have been clearly mentioned in the design. Then, why are you complaining afterwards? If you would have liked the drawers, they would have installed it.
4) You talked about the cove light under the storage unit. What actually happened there - you did not mention it clearly.
5) You talked about the bottom skirting part to be black. That too, must have been discussed during design phase.
6) You told that it has taken 3 months for your things to get done. Livspace is known to deliver complete interior solutions of 3 BHK within 60 days. So, I am not sure what went wrong here.
I think you misunderstood the design part. Once the carpentry work got done, you did not like the output.
@@8687abc Hi Adarsh. Thank you so much for your comment. I’ll explain. Yeah the impression I had of livspace was something else. It turned out to be worse than a contractor.
1: Being a layman, I did point out the space wastage on both the sides of the unit. I was told that fillers are necessary as this is a modular unit and it cannot be customised. I had faith on the designers and I mostly thought that they know better. I still don’t have a problem with fillers. The point I tried to make in the video is that carcass wasn’t made in the upper cabinet cos it would have had wasted space, but they were okay to waste space using fillers everywhere.
2: You are absolutely correct. They do granite work and even electrical work. But that’s only there in Tier 1 cities. I stay in Lucknow and over here the experience was even worse than a local contractor cos livspace only takes care of the carpentry work. They won’t even customise anything. Whatever if there in the design. They will just do that. If there is a screw missing in the design. That screw will be missed in the unit. And they won’t even care to fix that. So I had to buy granite and get it fixed myself.
3: There were no drawers required in the top unit. An empty storage space was the requirement. However, it was just a frame that was installed and no carcass. That was done to keep the cost in check. Also that would’ve taken some space. Now you can refer to point number 1.
4: I was told there will be provision of profile lighting made inside the unit. Somehow they forgot to add that. They remembered this later and all they could do was apologise.
5: No discussion regarding skirting was done. I didn’t even know a skirting will be applied in this unit. As I said, I am a layman and that’s why I approached livspace. Thought that they will take care of things by themselves and I won’t need to have knowledge about carpentry.
6: It took 3 months for them to deliver this unit. They kept designing this for 2 months. I used to joke with their designers saying it feels like you’re building the Taj Mahal.
I listened to them when they used to explain the 2D design part. They used to suggest me stuff and I used to say yes. It is not always easy for a layman to paint an exact picture. This is why I approached them. So I won’t need to think and the work will be flawless.

I work with Livspace. Weren't these mentioned to you before booking with them? I mean a tentative design? Livspace is a modular company like Ikea furniture, they have preset cabinets which are installed to your space. Remaining space is filled with filler.

Go to X (formerly Twitter) and post your concern. Don’t forget to tag livspace in your post. Hopefully they will acknowledge your concern and will get it fixed.
Fake commitments and offer from sales team at time of booking with live space. Especially when you come to final order placement after multiple meetings all of sudden things which were promised then becomes beyond livspaces scope .
They do not care about customer needs .. no time line adherence .. looting is their objective .. I would not recommend

Appreciate your comment. As far as my experience is concerned, you could go with anyone but Livspace. Noida has good local furniture/interior markets. I would recommend to try them first. You may consider Godrej for kitchen work. I have not personally used them but I liked the design and the quality of their material.

I also never recommand livespace..i am waiting since 6 months still they are only finilizing designs and employees are so rude as we have to go only with their suggestions(also employess are not available for long time and most of the times they are on leaves)...they are not ready to do anything according to our suggestions....also they are taking too much cost (2.50 lac)for only kitchen...also they are giving us only fixed unit(doors) instead of drawers and trawley for kitchen in this budget......at the end i want to cancle order and want my refund back but they are not ready for refund (as per their company policy)....worst experiancing

If you’d ask me, I won’t recommend anyone to go with livspace. Although after this video has gained some popularity, livspace has made some changes to this unit. I will be making a follow up video possibly this weekend. You shud watch that.
Ask for refund. If they will not agree for refund then buy some other things like chimney or any other things. They can provide only good quality but can't customize anything and also waste your so much space.

Honestly speaking, I had seen their ad during the IPL season on TV. I thought let’s give them a try. I was and I still am a noob when it came to furniture. I didn’t know jack shit about the making and technical terminology. I thought a local carpenter will scam me and the work will not turn out to be the way I want. With livspace, I was under the impression that I won’t need to know anything about the technicalities and they will just handle everything.
So I went ahead and the rest is history.
As as interior designer, I feel that livspace is more of marketing company than actually solving up the issue of people
