I'm always sad the tennis world doesn't appreciate him more, he's so nice and charming off court, answered every irrelevant questions with patience and good analysis
Daniil's press conferences are always so good. He's so nice and always gives deep analysis, you can tell he's really thinking about what he's going to say and not just dropping classic pre-made answers.
Good person, good tennis player, good family man, talks soo good about his wife and daughter, gentle and intelligent, just from how he approaches the press tell more about him, wishing Meddy all of the best throughout his career ❤❤😂
A great fight back by Meddy when things weren't looking rosy after the first set. It is evident that he is now reading grass courts well and will veritably place him in good stead in future battles ahead.
Daniil is a very smart guy. I've grown to appreciate him more & more. He has worked hard to become more personable. I admire & respect him & wish him more success.
Love him on the tour, wish he would dare more to attack at the net, would save him some energies to play and win semiseria and finals against Alcaraz and Sinner.
Very agree with you this guy is the nicer guy on answering question at the ATP. A friend of mine that’s said to me that he doesn’t like him. I’ve said to him watch this guy in the interview; and he will absolutely love Medvedev
@@mireafelder8194 You make a very serious and very trivial mistake. The years registered in the registry do not coincide with the years of tennis. Alcaraz has been playing tennis since the age of four, Sinner since ten or eleven (but at eight he had the opportunity to become junior giant slalom champion and those slalom moves make a difference in his tennis today too). Sinner is a natural born athlete. He could have excelled in more than one sporting discipline. It wasn't tennis that chose Sinner but Sinner who chose tennis. As for the talent, the magic of the shots, I would like to underline - en passant - that the best shots, in the most spectacular exchanges between the two, at the extreme of individual skills, were almost always won by Sinner. Finally, I'll give a spoiler to Medvedev (but I don't rule out the possibility that he might think the same thing): at the end of his career Sinner will be the one to have won the most Slams.
@@unicounici3772 What a bunch of non sense unbiased fanboy garbage lol... Every normal person knows Alcaraz is 10 steps above Sinner in everything and even 100 steps above Sinner in talent and magic... prob Carlos will be above Federer in magic, talent and execution in 2-3 years and even now he produces ridiculous shots that Federer only can dream about. Sinner on the other side is a one dimensional big hitter and servebot, nothing special besides he is a top one but nowhere close to Alcaraz special talent and magic.
he has answered, he said Alcaraz has great shots he has never seen.... but 'he is up and down', consistency is what will pay off in the long run and that's what Sinner has not Carlitos
Can anyone explain the physics/motion mechanics Medvedev talks about regarding how the serve slides? I understand slice and spin but don’t think that’s what he’s referring to. Thanks in advance!
I think he refers to the fact that grass makes the game surface slippery, this makes the ball move faster the bounce very unpredictable. Very opposite to the hard court, which is slower and you can predict trajectories better
Our Russian brother, smart, intelligent, an excellent player and above all, fantastic humane being. I wish you to be strong as bear (your surname) and win more championships.
Those who do not appreciate him just don’t like him plain and simple. He does explain pretty well and speaks fluently in English it’s just that there are people really have favourites and he is not especially how the crowd hated him sometimes. I like this guy against other big players who are arrogant already just because they are already high ranked paid highly. Any player when they become popular reached the top they become arrogant look at their opponents as they can just beat this opponent because she/he is of lower rank. Remember the US open when Osaka won against Serena? That tantrum was disgusting but not one tennis sports writer directly or even wrote in any newspaper why she behaved that way. I like Serena but sometimes she had showed an unacceptable behaviour and that US open was unforgettable.
I think he has answered the question already. Alcaraz has more talent but still lacks consistency, something he will probably achieve with experience and age. Sinner is more mature right now, but maybe doesn't show the same potential.
I think Carlos will have more GS. Jannik will win more fast court 2 out of 3. But it comes down to health. Carlos has some injury prone due to his big style and Jannik seems to have stamina and illness issues. I think Carlos has more killer instinct and Jannik gets stressed out and it causes more bizarre illnesses. But Jannik can fix those things and he needs to.
His first words reflect a lot of ego. He was in his lows and his opponent was in his highs and thats why it was a close match. So if he's in his top form, he'd destroy him in no time.
_How much longer Russian athletes will have to endure the stupid restriction imposed to them to compete under no flag, because of the stupidity of war implemented by Putin, Zelenski and his acolytes?_
He seems a nice guy before and after the games, but not during !!! He acts very arrogant with the opponent while he plays and also blames his coach and wife all the time when things go wrong. As a tennis fan, I respect him a lot. In fact, i think he could win the tournament ! There are 4 players that can win the tournament . I don't think Novak will be one of them because his knee. 1) Medvedev 2) Sinner 3) Zverev 4) Carlos .
7:49 Sinner or Alcaraz ❓
Thank you, I look to the comments to see if someone announces the exact time about the question 😂😂😂
Me too, just came because for that😂
😂
Thanks, bro.
Thanks for specifying the timestamp I would have wasted my time a lot if you hadn't done so
I'm always sad the tennis world doesn't appreciate him more, he's so nice and charming off court, answered every irrelevant questions with patience and good analysis
I like him a lot, but he doesnt do himself any favors with some of the cheap gamesmanship tactics he has employed frequently during his career.
I'm a huge fan!
I do. He's one of my faves. He's hilarious.
The problem is his behavior on court imo
@RAEN74 same here.
Daniil's press conferences are always so good. He's so nice and always gives deep analysis, you can tell he's really thinking about what he's going to say and not just dropping classic pre-made answers.
Absolutely! Slowly turning into a Daniil fan!
So authentic. Worlds needs more poeple like him.
👏👏👏🙏
Haha you are funny
When his playing days are over Danill Medvedev will make a top class tennis commentator.
So true 😂
I love listening to Daniil analyze players and their games and explain his own game. He's a great champion in his own right.
He is authenthic and very charming, nice dude. Best of luck, Daniil.
Honest, intelligent and detailed responses, no matter what. I learn a lot by listening to Daniil's pressers.
i dont watch tennis sometimes just his press conference :D
he's so patient and articulated in his technical descriptions
He’s a great player and gentleman
Medevedev is not only a great player but also a very nice person. I am always looking forward to watch a game between him and Carlos!
I like this guy! Very honest and tells it like he sees it!!
Daniil's interviews are always the best, by far
His answers deserve him another Grand slam 😇
Definitely. Great player. Very articulate & gives honest answers. Not arrogant & that’s a great quality a top tennis player can have. God Bless Him.
Good person, good tennis player, good family man, talks soo good about his wife and daughter, gentle and intelligent, just from how he approaches the press tell more about him, wishing Meddy all of the best throughout his career ❤❤😂
His press conferences are pure gold, such a likeable guy, very authentic. I can see him becoming a commentator when he hangs up his racquet.
Great player, great person. Good luck Medvedev!
I really love Medes interview. Very authentic and honest.
He comes across as a really nice guy, honest and intelligent.
One of the few real deals left in the world today. Travels light. Speaks unrehearsed and gives it all on the court. Fan for life
Well to the question he clearly answered Alcaraz, although with as much tact as possible
Congrats Daniel! Good job! Keep it on! 💪
best most calm interview in the sport
❤ love denils press conf..speaks well and good...good luck Denil...❤️🇵🇭
Excelent answers as always
I love Medvedev. I really hope he’ll win more grand slam titles although I know the competition from players like Alcaraz and Sinner is really tough.
Loved the answer to the ‘jannik or Carlos’ question!
Very honest and accurate imo.
A great fight back by Meddy when things weren't looking rosy after the first set. It is evident that he is now reading grass courts well and will veritably place him in good stead in future battles ahead.
Great talker. Love hearing him.
Hope he can win a few more slams.
❤
Truly a nice player❤
Daniil is a very smart guy. I've grown to appreciate him more & more. He has worked hard to become more personable. I admire & respect him & wish him more success.
Danill is my favourite men player on tour I like to c him play sinner
I hope he wins.
Genuine guy ...so likeable
He’s such an amiable guy. Very honest & hilarious. Great tennis player.
Really enjoy him and his game❤
I love Daniil ! I think is funny and a great player , great communication!
You will win many more championships
Amen!!!
Such a great guy
Would love to have him as tennis coach
His interviews are the best
Always a class act on his interviews and very smart dude!
Great interview as usual ..... best on tour by far
Medevev is very articulate. I am also impressed with his English. He is a good tennis player, a good sport, and gives a very good post interview.
Spot on as always!👏
Good luck Daniil 👍
I really like him. To me is very underrated.
Wishing him a well-deserved grand slam.
If both remain fit.. Alcaraz will definitely win more grand slams than Sinner.
He's verry smart.
Dannii is such a great player.
Love him on the tour, wish he would dare more to attack at the net, would save him some energies to play and win semiseria and finals against Alcaraz and Sinner.
His the best player for me. Since Medvedev Nadal AO final.
Not even close. Djokovic and Alcaraz are both better than Medvedev already.
A good soul and a great tennis player.
Very agree with you this guy is the nicer guy on answering question at the ATP. A friend of mine that’s said to me that he doesn’t like him.
I’ve said to him watch this guy in the interview; and he will absolutely love Medvedev
Great interview!
Good luck with everything Medvedev
Great guy!
I like him
Love this man.
We all know grass (and clay) is not Mede’s favorite but I wish him all the best here. Best wishes in Paris.
Medvedev is smart
I like you Medeveil ALOT. Keep playing ❤️❤️
Smart funny charming.
Great Daniil😊
Bravo
Medvadev has a bright career as a commentator after his tennis career is over.
Federer should be a commentator
Detail oriented . May you win or finalist
I think with how he has said that alcaraz is the toughest opponent he has ever faced in his career, that the answer is kinda obvious
Ele é um bom jogador, Alcaraz é excepcional!
Love this guy
He was thinking Alcaraz;)
nope, he said alcaraz has "more up and down" and that thing wont lead anyone to be the n1
@@jimmymalone824To be inconsistent at 21 is normal, just look like up and down Sinner was 2 years ago. Carlos will balance it out.
@@mireafelder8194 Yeah it makes sense. it is pretty common especially when young id say too, I agree

Meddy is the coolest cucumber.
Top guy in everything

Off court, he's charming, but on court, he allows his demons to take the better part of him.

Disrespectful questions
_How much longer Russian athletes will have to endure the stupid restriction imposed to them to compete under no flag, because of the stupidity of war implemented by Putin, Zelenski and his acolytes?_
The war is from biden who funds it and expands nato illegally
Also joker loses a set to a college player and yall say he played great. But med loses to 277 with lots more atp experience and he’s complete shit.
What a dork
tennis needs to eliminate 1 serve

Deniil has great quality of analysing the game and describing things in simple and uncomplicated manner
