  • Diamond Calk Horseshoe Company was one of the large tool companies in the day, they made tools for all companies, good quality, and this tool is no exception, the bluing turned out great!

    I love these old crate tools! I have a few myself. A little longer than that one but not by mych. Ive cleaned two up really nice so far. Got a couple more to go. Great video as always, DJ! 🤝

      @djstoolrestorations they're great for removing old trim around doors and windows. They've been awesome for that! Also, for old cove base, as you mentioned. I helped someone get back into their apartment one day using one. They locked themselves out, and I needed to remove a piece of trim before I could use my tool. They're great when needed and get the job done quite well

    I have one of these crate tools with the Bridgeport name on it that was badly rusted. It cleaned up perfectly and once it was polished I put a coat of good ole johnson floor wax on it. In over a year no rust has reappeared and I use it regularly.

    Metal took the Bluing well, turned coal black almost instantly.

      Yea, some metals take quickly and some are lighter than others!!!!!!!

    I do want you to know I like those I'd especially like that 1 cause it's from my home state But what I was gonna say is I've also seen them red That way they don't get left on boxes or anything Band of brothers
