Great video. I belong to this club. I agree with all his comments about attention to detail and all the minute features of both the HO layout and the N-scale layout. I can claim that I did very little of the beautiful scenery and trackwork. My contribution to the layout is the large bridge on the HO layout. This was designed based on the Ohio Connecting Railroad bridge crossing Brunots Island outside Pittsburgh. This bridge is modeled after the bridge on the back channel. The entire bridge is 3d printed. My contribution to the N-scale layout is the large auto traffic bridge in the city. This bridge too was 3d printed and is a replica of the 16th Street bridge over the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh.
Thanks Nick for another great video. Love watching them. Hope your 2024 is a wonderful year. This reminds me a lot of Miniatur Wunderland with the amount of details
It has been years since I have seen this layout. My dad and I would go when they were still in the basement of the Sewickley library - probably in the mid-late 80s. I have never been to this current location.
Thanks for the nostalgia! When I lived nearby (before kids) I used to operate on the HO scale layout, it was a lot of fun. Great group of members there, very welcoming. That N scale layout has come a long way since I was there! Also, love the Micheal Scott Paper Company boxcar, lol!
Thanks for sharing. Simply amazing what people can accomplish on model railroads, like you I am running o scale and wish we had more access to 40s and 50s scale vehicles that didn’t look like toys.HO trains has a greater selection of accessories
