I’m not saying I watched every episode of your RUclips channel, but during that cab ride, every section of track, traffic lights, flag pole, crossing lights and that Coal Dock. I recall you designing the enormous amount of buildings, glueing them together, painting them, inserting interiors in several with interior lighting. And then the scenery you placed and the photos you took of actual scenery locations and built those locations on your layout. WOW……… This has got to be the best realistic railroad layout I’ve ever seen. And watching your videos with your comments. Mr. B, made me crackup a lot. Thank you so much for showing this on RUclips . Thanks Mike. P. S. still no outhouses
Wow!! After watching from the beginning and all the work that has gone into the layout....THAT was the payoff!! Fantastic!! Rob, you and your sons have done an awesome job to bring your layout to this level of detail!! Bravo!! BTW..I hope you are doing well and many wishes for a long and healthy future. Again, BRAVO!!!
What a great model railroad! (It's big, too.) I really like all the various elements (trackwork, scenery, rolliing stock, weathering, etc.) of it, and even more so the balance among those elements. And, of course, that Westinghouse facility is a beast. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Wisconsin!
Superb run around the layout. So much detail and, though I'm sometimes jealous of the space you have, I'm kind of glad I'm more restricted so I have a chance of filling it. Cheers
Getting to see so many of those little details that you've created viewed from 'on the rails'...awesome! The engine shed interior that took so long to do and that view across the Westinghouse plant both stunning.
wow thank you for special super detailed video on cab ride around the super detailed layout as real beauty detail have put together as joy watching very video put together over yerars from australia
I like that you lined your tunnels. Nothing looks more cheesy than a great looking railroad with a cab ride and then you go into a "tunnel" and see wiring, etc., that kills the allusion. My compliment to you good sir!
That was really interesting. I recognized many of the areas you worked so hard to get real and they look real. Very nice. Better that any museum layout I have seen.
Great vid Rob. I like the cab ride view of your awesome railroad. especially the realistic job you've done on scenery and weathering trackside. do some more ! :)
Lovely to see your layout in full again Rob. It seemed like I watched you build most of it, and I enjoyed every minute. Keep strong the Bennett men, and thank you for your service!
Ah... the real reason for any railroad in my opinion. Nothing like father and son time! I know you both enjoyed it!!! Very beautiful and awesome cab ride sir! - Gary
Thank you for the cab ride through the various yard tracks. That was a unique change from the typical all-mainline runs I've seen...especially 'round the turntable. Very cool! Definitely would not complain about the bumpiness.
What a stunning layout it has become! Been lurking for a long time, Steve, and you've put together a masterpiece. Coming off the turntable, the background works wonders. Wonderful.
B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. Your layout never ceases to amaze me. Great view from the cab wow. Yes the signal indication was a bit on the confusing side of things hahaha.Very nice to have the family involved as well.
One of the few layouts that actually lends itself to this view. There are areas on the layout where you actually get the feeling that it is miles deep. The scene coming off the turntable is just stunning art Sir Rob. As close to perfect as model railroading allows. Nice to see the kids and dad having a good time. Eugene would be proud.
Fabulous railroad with real Pennsylvania atmosphere. I enjoyed the cab-ride view - it was very realistic indeed. Great loco servicing area and terrific weathering around. very nice to see your sons, too. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi guys. I trust everyone is well. I've been following your progress with the layout from practically day one. It looks even more awesome from rail level. From a UK subscriber.
Hi rob i hope you are well, was just reminiscing of the days when i would sit and watch every second of one of your layout build videos. Thought i would just leave a quick comment to say hi. All the best Anthony uk.
Bennett ho potuto vedere ancora il tuo plastico ancora una volta devo confermare che è veramente eccezionale la panoramica ha servito molto a presto auguri per il tuo capolavoro a presto 😊😊😊
It is such a pleasure to watch your videos pertaining to the great work you have done on your railroad! As a railroad modeler myself I think it would be great to see a night ride and a op session with your group can I plan on seeing them soon?
You have a beautiful railroad. One of the things I appreciate so much about this video is the speed the train is running. In many cases, trains are run too fast. Now as of today, May 3, I am new to you and have not seen everything on your channel, but let me suggest to you consider doing a run over your railroad with the camera at the end of a short train of gondolas and flatcars, what I call the brakeman's view,. The guy who did videos of my HO and On30 railroads, Bill Fagan, did this and is neat to see the train itself as it runs around the railroad.
hello, rob !!! just finished your westinghouse series and i must admit it is fantastic !! i assume you are a "circle-bar-dubbyah" retiree like myself.... i have been to pittsburgh many, many times for training ( baseball and hockey games. too) that our site at westinghouse-west valley required... many stops to bobby rubinos for 'lingers and ribs ( do you remember their deep fried onion "basket"? just like on seinfeld " the best, jerry, the best " !!!) then off to watch a pirates or penguins game !!! i was always treated fantastically by everyone from pittsburgh and it was always a real treat to visit there!!! modeling-wise, i have recently added 3 carload express sd 60's and 1 avr sd 50 to my pike, the bprr from buffalo, ny to pittsburgh (eidenau) pa... just a great line to model. tom poeschel from detroit did the engines for me and he did an absolutely beautiful job !! please keep the videos coming... prayers and blessings to you as we are all happy you are doing well !!! denny armes, industrial safety engineer III, wetinghouse-west valley, ny.
The problem with the signals is nothing new, I was in Terre Haute Indiana some years ago and they were working on the signals, They came up with a flashing BULE.
Here's a comment... You invite comments and then don't answer a single one. Like what camera are you using? Any pictures of your camera car? You would probably have even more subscribers, as your railroad is pretty nice, if you just weren't so damn full of yourself.
The signal at helter-skelter has a aspect of “movement at restricted speed, not to accede 20 mph. Be prepared to stop within 2 train lengths of obstacle affecting movement

That was fun. Nice to see your Sons. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the next one.

Just utterly fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
The mixture of colors in your scenery looks amazing.
Superb run around the layout. So much detail and, though I'm sometimes jealous of the space you have, I'm kind of glad I'm more restricted so I have a chance of filling it. Cheers

He ain't kiddin' about the detail!
Brilliant, you have taught me so much about scenery, esp the "do it to 80%, then move on" method. In fact, i have passed that onto other modellers ;)
I like that you lined your tunnels. Nothing looks more cheesy than a great looking railroad with a cab ride and then you go into a "tunnel" and see wiring, etc., that kills the allusion. My compliment to you good sir!
I really enjoyed that Rob, Thank you very much!
That was really interesting. I recognized many of the areas you worked so hard to get real and they look real. Very nice. Better that any museum layout I have seen.
Fantastic! What a great ride!
Great vid Rob. I like the cab ride view of your awesome railroad. especially the realistic job you've done on scenery and weathering trackside. do some more ! :)
Great job on the layout!
Outstanding view of all the excellent work you have accomplished. Backing off the turntable, I was convinced I was in Pennsylvania. Marvelous work.
Lovely to see your layout in full again Rob. It seemed like I watched you build most of it, and I enjoyed every minute. Keep strong the Bennett men, and thank you for your service!
Enjoying my coffee this morning as I take a ride around the Bennett Railroad. Awesome! Thanks for sharing.

WOW, from what can be seen from the cab ride, you guys have an awesome looking layout!
very nice setup young man! As a retired HV lineman I especially enjoyed the nice high tension lines. Good insulator and guy strand detail.
Incredible realism!
SALUD
What a beautiful layout. You can be proud of it.
That is a wonderful job and layout and evidently smoothly running. Congratulations on a great job!
Looks amazing as always. Nice you're able to have some fun with it.
Fantastic job - I've been watching your channel since you first started building the layout, and you've done a first class job
Fabulous railroad with real Pennsylvania atmosphere. I enjoyed the cab-ride view - it was very realistic indeed. Great loco servicing area and terrific weathering around. very nice to see your sons, too. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi The Bennett Model Railroad and i like yours video is cool & Thanks & The Bennett Model Railroad & Friends Randy
It is such a pleasure to watch your videos pertaining to the great work you have done on your railroad! As a railroad modeler myself I think it would be great to see a night ride and a op session with your group can I plan on seeing them soon?
Thanks for the Video Rob!!
I am enjoying this, and with a professional at the controls, I am in safe hands.
Interesting perspective on the turntable, you don't see that - never actually have I ever seen that.

I know you're proud of those boys and you certainly should be. Good job dad!

Superb.
Great cab ride.

It's a family driving party. Supreme. You can also see the details of the layout very well.

A bit unusual, but fun!!
Amazing :)
Wow!!!
Can I come over ? This looks like a cool place to hang out on a rainy Saturday.
A very nice playground for big children.
Excellent cab ride! I’m curious, is the issue with the swing gate due to temperature or humidity changes? Do you have a solution yet?
I hope you are doing well. Four months with out your videos is a long time!
2 reds and lets go
What an impressive layout. You should take great pride in your accomplishment. BTW, how
many weeks did it take to complete🤣
What happened to the lake city crossing gates?
yes I did, last year.
alright very cool...whats next?? 🙃🤣🤣🤣
where are you? hope you are well
Where did you find those railroad signals we see in the first minute?
The problem with the signals is nothing new, I was in Terre Haute Indiana some years ago and they were working on the signals, They came up with a flashing BULE.
Somebody is rich!
