The scene where she’s walking away. She didn’t know that was gonna her last time seeing her family. Her last time walking out of the home she built. She walks away to her doom and doesnt know it yet. I cried so hard watching this part.
That was the last time Patsy Cline's husband and children ever saw her alive. That tearful goodbye to her husband and their children was going to be their last time they saw her alive. She was on her way to the airport to aboard the plane that eventually killed her in the end despite warnings about flying in those dreadful weather conditions Randy Hughes decided to fly anyway only because at the time of the plane crash Patsy was very eager to get home to her husband and their children.
When I went to Nashville Tennessee twice in the mid 80's and in Feb. 1989 ( before they remodeled the Ryman Auditorium/ Grand Ole Opry ) I got to stand on the same stage where Patcy Cline stood and I got to go into the dressing rooms. While I was standing on that stage she's the main person I thought about. Then I thought about all the other famous singers that stood there at one point of their careers. It was exciting..!! It smelt like an old dusty building back then and it smelt like old wires burning. Some of the stand glass widows were still broken at that time too. It gave me the chilies. It almost felt haunting, but I loved it. That's the only way I know how to explain it. Patsy Cline, Hawkshaw Hawkins, and Cowboy Copas will always be missed. So will Randy Hughes. I pray someday I'll see them again in Heaven. 💋❤❤❤❤ Until then may they all rest in peace. 🕊🕊🕊🕊
Megan’s portrayal of Pasty was terrific. Bless her heart the lady playing Loretta wasn’t up to par as I’d hoped. There’s only “two” Loretta’s. Loretta and Oscar winner Sissy.
Well played! I haven’t watch this movie but I have seen the 1980’s version of Pasty Cline bio and that was so overdramatize of how they dealt with her death scene!
the only inaccuracy that i didn't like about patsy and loretta film is that they got the timeline wrong about loretta's twin pregnancy. in the movie loretta discussed to patsy about her twin pregnancy. the fact is patsy passed away in march 1963, and loretta wasn't pregnant until november 1963, and gave birth to her twins in august 1964. another word is loretta wasn't pregnant with her twins until 8 months after patsy had passed away.
Randy Hughes (the pilot and I believe Patsy Cline’s manager) was warned numerous times to not fly in bad weather conditions and he was not trained in instrument flying. All of them were given free rooms and meals until the weather improved. Dottie West even offered Patsy a car ride back to Nashville, but she turned it down.
Why have I never seen this movie shown any where or even know the name of this movie you sure don't give much information about this please tell us more about this movie we don't even know the name of it
The title of the film is in the title of the RUclips video - Patsy and Loretta. Your comment is really rude, and if I was the creator of this clip I wouldn’t answer you either.
I think Miss Hilty is also a perfect Patsy Cline just like Miss Lange was, i also saw "Sweet Dreams" with Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline and i never forget Beverly D'Angelo, she portrayed Patsy Cline at first, 1980 in "Coalminer's Daughter. All three of them were wonderful. Unfortunately only two of them really sang in their Movies. I wish Jessica Lange would have sang Patsy Cline's Songs in "Sweet Dreams"... 🙂
I have fallen in love with all of Megan's performances. Her singing, acting and smile are so beautiful. And RIP Patsy Cline.
I had the pleasure of mixing this film. Very cool to see these clips randomly show up on my RUclips feed! Takes me back!
Now you got me crying because that is the last time she sees her children
It gives me chills that they filmed at Patsy’s real house.

There’s something so haunting by her singing crazy but she did such a beautiful job
Don’t think I cried so much in my life until this film…
Very sad what a great loss to country music add to do she only had nine songs on the billboard but is such a legend
Megan Hilty has the voice of an angel.
...just like Miss Cline...
God, this woman was the absolute perfect Patsy Cline.
Two goddesses as far as I'm concerned - Patsy and Megan.
i found out about Megan Hilty from Centaurworld and i am absolutely falling in love with the rest of her work
My heart ❤️ my grandpa’s favourite song

I love this movie
I do love the fact this movie was a bit more faithful to the ill-fated plane crash than the film version back in the ‘80s.

She actually looks and sounds like Patsy Cline
In March 1963, 3 Country Singer
Patsy Cline (1932-1963)
Cowboy Copas (1913-1963)
Hawkshaw Hawkins (1921-1963)
She looks so much like the real patsy cline.
😢❤❤❤❤
On Netflix now

They did that same timeline switch in Coal Miner’s Daughter!
She was gonna go shopping with Loretta Lynn
She should have taking her friend advice of not flying in bad weather.😢

The last time she's had seen her children
Her daughter was 4 when she passed this girl looks 6-7??🙄
Don't forget, this is Hollywood. They make up stories as they go on. The auto accident never happened like that, either.
I want to see this movie lol.

Exactly
The actual wreck was a head on collision and Patsy went through the windshield.
Cant nobody can play patsy like Jessica Lange! NOBODY!!! 😉. This new girl can’t act. . . Period!
She’s a Broadway star, Tony nominated she definitely can act and sing

Beverly D’Angelo was quite good as Patsy Cline.
Not impressed after seeing Sissy Spacek in Coal Miners Daughter
