This is Mrs. Rick, and I am NOT letting my husband watch this! Otherwise I'll be hearing "I ain't wearin' nothin'" for the next year. (Cept saran wrap.)
And just see at the beginning of the movie it was like he was really mean and rude with her, but seen them on her. He loved her so much and think she’s up there with him now.
Regardless of the kind of man he was...he was HER man, she loved only him, and only once, for a very short time in their early years, did she ever seriously think about leaving. She said he only hit her when he was drunk, and she'd always hit him back twice. She said he really wasn't a violent man. Just, when he'd drink, there was just that little something about her that set him off. She was tough, and could beat him...and he knew it! She said their's was a hard love story, but they really did love each other. She did say that although she and Conway never had anything romantic going on, that if she had have left Doo, she would have only left him for Conway. She may have deserved "better" than him, but he was the only one she was ever in love with. If she was happy, who are we to judge?
@16sondra how do you know that???? He died a year after this so I don't think he'd of been hitting her at this point. Maybe when they were young. But loretta seems happy.
R.R.I.P Loretta and Doolittle
You could see how Mooney loved Loretta.
A Coal Miner’s Daughter is one of my fav movies. Their story is beautiful 🫶🏽
If not for Doolittle we more than likely wouldnt even know who Loretta is.
Exactly!!!!
Even though she was his meal ticket.
Not more than likely. No question. He put her on the stage. Her biggest fan. Would never have happened without him
Damnit it Lorett that just tore me to pieces RIP country's Queen
That's what you call TRUE LOVE❤
