I’m Jewish my best friend is from Ireland and our parents get together to talk about the troubles and the Holocaust and both Irish and Jewish people are great story tellers, funny, and have had a lot of hard times. My best friends dad and his whole town in cork during the troubles held hands around a local synagogue to protect it. That story made me cry and most people have more in common than differences. It’s beautiful for different people to unite in our common struggles and ways of loving and showing love.
