    Hey Ervin. From the bottom of my heart i wana say Thank you. I finally got my first job in I.T. A good 6 month’s contract to hire position and it’s a Hybrid also. Funny enough they were the ones who reached out to me through LinkedIN and asked for my resume. I wouldn’t have passed the interview without your help. Your videos gave me all the technical knowledge i needed. I answered all the technical questions they asked with so much confidence. No prior experience and no degree. Just hands on training and a GOOGLE IT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE. I’m excited and can’t wait to start. Thank you once again. You the goat.

    hello Ervin, I used Service Now, in 2 companies. What I remember, is that on some occasions, after troubleshooting, the end user did not want the ticket to be resolved. There was the option to set it up for 24 hours, in ''waiting resolution'' monitoring. Not good for the Service desk technician, since you lose FCR resolution.

      Hello. That is rough. Sometimes, if the issue is not resolved it is forwarded to Tier 2 or local IT support.

    @cobuman Hi, is it possible if you can do a video of the First 90 Days for a new hire Desktop Support Analyst? It seem difficult to find a video on RUclips that actually touches of what to concentrate on the first 90 days as a desktop support analyst. The First 90 Days searches on RUclips are generic and not specific to this career.

    Hey Ervin, I have a question. After a ticket is created, is the "caller" able to interact with the ticket?... I mean, adding comments or things like that?

      Great question. If you use an SMTP server that uses a domain name as the server address.... then you need a working DNS server to forward that domain name to the correct server. So, let's say smtp server is domain.com... but domain.com actual server is at 192.168.1.1; you need DNS to resolve that.

      Hello. Great question. The KB should come up inside the ticket automatically based of the ticket description (keyword search based). As long as ServiceNow is configured correctly, you don't need to do anything to attach it.

      @@b0xxkn1gh79 No problem. The website was hibernating. It goes to sleep if people don't log on to use it. You can try again, it will have a different login screen. I think it stays up for 8hrs.
