I work for two help desks. One uses service now and the other uses manage engine service desk +
Service desk + is much better. Better interface, ease of use etc.

@@Cobuman I seen your video on watching two remote jobs is illegal. Unfortunately mine are both for the same employer just different clients and getting one wage money for both desks, one is a large hotel group the other is a County Council.
You know the way it goes, the job throws more responsibility, more work but no extra pay.. I'm only 1 year into my IT career, hoping to move onto a better position in the near future.

I’ve been away from IT for years , after graduating from an online university, (got my bachelor in Information Technology) I really feel like I didn’t learn much because I need the hands on - I got some experience after working my first Service Desk job for about 5 months but I had to leave that job for personal reasons. Plus being a young woman in the field , it felt it was harder for me to be taken seriously when I tried to get back to IT. Mostly men were chosen to work and they had years of experience… so i felt I had no no chance competing with them. So I gave up IT for years but now I want to get back to IT- so I’ve subcribed to your channel and I’m hoping to refresh my memory and learn new things. Im planning to buy those courses online to get certification in CompTia A+. Not sure though if it’s a right move .. what can you advice as far as the A+ certification?
Hello. That's a great question. On a personal level I am not a fan of CompTia certs; however, their certs became popular amongst employers and for those I'd say go for it to help you get a job. But, before you do that try getting a job based of your previous IT experience. Of course, watch some refresher videos so you can pass the technical part of the interview. @@gomes8335 No problem. The server goes to sleep if nobody is using it for a while. I will wake it up so try again. It stays awake for 2hrs until someone else logs in.

I'm afraid you can't do that. In order to assign a ticket to someone they need to be part of a group. So you would find the assignment group and then assign the ticket to that person.
Can we use this as a sideline job and earn money?
