He is the director of Institute of Asian Studies. Once upon a time I am one of the staff of this institution. 13 years experience. I am very proud of our institution and our director. He is a respectable director and the Institution also. Valka valamudan sir
Thank you for the wonderful explanation. I used to wonder why people from Europe are fond of the Vedic religion, and now I have my answer. Back in the 17th century, officials from the European East India Companies popularized Sanskrit by translating the Upanishads into their respective languages. This internal movement in Europe, which began in the 18th and 19th centuries, made it easier for Europeans and others to embrace the Vedic religion and Sanskrit. I was surprised to learn that Emerson was a Christian priest. The popularization of Sanskrit occurred more than a century before that of Tamil. I agree with you. We should have adhered to the principle that a language with written literature dating back to the 6th century should be the criterion for deciding its classical status. Unfortunately, we failed in this regard. Please create a video on how we can influence UNESCO to recognize Tamil as a classical language.
