Instagram doesn't support 4k at the moment and not all devices are compatible with HDR. I think 1080p at 60fps the recommended settings for IG and Facebook?
On the latest iOS update, you can select “most compatible” and then still turn around and select HDR and 4K 60 FPS. I’m not a camera guy but I just tried this after seeing this video and my settings stayed the same after selecting “most compatible” as well as HDR.
I set my settings as 1080P at 60FPS. Selected most compatible, turn off any HDR. When upload to IG I see my story as 60 FPS but when I use another account to view it. It drops back to 30 FPS???
Wrong tip. Choosing hdr and 4k 60 will convert videos to high efficiency which aren't supported by insta. Thus quality will be reduced when uploaded on insta. Best recommendation is to shoot at 4k 30 and compress it to 1080 before uploading on insta
What about Videos that are already on your camera roll? I have a lot of problems with that. i mostly share musicvideos and they get blurry really often no matter what i try.
( months later and they still haven't fixed this issue, its quite frustrating even the latest iPhones footage looks like it was taken on a 10 year old phone
Thanks for the video. I have the problem that the videos in my camera roll look fantastic yet making a reel or story with them Instagram makes them look all cloudy. Have checked all the settings multiple times and there seems to be no reason why the app would do that
Instagram does not support 4K. Once you uploaded to Instagram it will only get compressed to low resolution and the video will look terrible 😞 Especially if you want to add music to your videos..
Instagram max resolution is 1080 P , even if you upload in 4k , change the camera settings to 1080 30/60 fps , i would choose 30 fps , it gives more cinematic , turn on the wifi while uploading
Check out the quality of your film from another account. When I upload the video, from my account it looks amazing, but after switching to another account looks bad as always 😑
@@gretas458I'm not sure about this but I think instagram provides content creators with better quality uploads. Better quality posts and higher bitrate videos and reels. Once you cross a certain amount of followers (for example 50k) and/or get a blue tick, instagram enables higher quality uploads compared to normal accounts
I have a question! After posting my Reel, the quality was fine, I noticed it only turned blurry MONTHS later!! Whyyyyy? How can I get the quality back to normal without having to delete my reel and start over again? I find this to be so frustrating!!! 🤯🤯🤯
the issue i have is when i upload my videos onto my story its in good quality however when i go to post it on my highlights its great but it alters my previous videos that are also on my highlights (which was previously good quality until i posted more after it) so i dont understand what i’m doing wrong because i specifically selected for insta to put it in the highest quality but if i put it on my highlights it fucks with the previous videos quality for some odd reason
HELLO DAN! I followed your directions to attempt to upload a 9 minute video from my PC that was edited and exported using the Adobe Premier 2022 settings for Instagram, but it would not upload!! I instead how to cut and export the video into 9 individual clips that Instagram would upload! What did I do wrong and is really possible to upload up to a 60 min video to Instagram?
U know .. i have so many pictures in my phone and are so clean , when i try to post at my instagram is not clean , idk why please someone to replay .. tha k you 🙏🏻
This is totally wrong. High efficiency does not reduce quality, it simply records in h265, 'most compatible' exists for use with ancient computers which can't play h265 which has been standard for years now.
Is it normal if I don't put the stories in the highlights but then want to put them in the highlights after 1-2 months from the archive. They are then with very poor quality. can someone help me here
I've added my stories to highlights immediately after uploading and initially it looked high quality but now after few months those same highlights look lower quality. Idk why. It seems IG is reducing highlights quality whether you add your stories immediately or not
Dude, you need high efficiency to achieve high quality and even 4K requires high efficiency. It's just a different format. The size doesn't matter. You clearly know nothing about it.
I just want to know that how to unlock a phone that you found in the streets and you want to unlock it it's a iPhone and the phone is locked with the password
@@chad_artiaga12 Facebook is shit, thats why. Thats the nerdy technicality version and the reality version for you right there. THAT is MAX quality that you can get 😂👌
Oh my gosh, thank you! I just tried it & it worked great! Been trying to figure this out for a while because all my IG Stories were so grainy.
Bro you turned off HDR by disabling high efficiency. Then you enabled it again by tapping 4K 60fps and HDR. This isn’t accurate.
😂

Lol so record at 4k 30 i get that ….. turn off hdr i get that…… when i upload blurrry lol idk😊
Compress 1080 how much fps bro 60&40 ?? Replay plz bro
thanks bud!
Why not directly record in 1080 30 fps? Rather compressing a 4k into 1080?
Wrong information selecting 4k 60 fps or selection the HDR feature automatically select the high efficiency format.

ABSOLUTELY game changing video. Soooo good!! Thank you so so so much for these incredible tips.
quality is still bad in reel compared to video on camera roll and on other instagram accounts. why?
enabling HDR messes up Instagram videos, not makes them better.
