Man, that’s a big watch! I don’t think I could pull it off. I can go 42mm with a lug-to-lug of 47mm or so, but I can’t do more than that. That Citizen is certainly a looker, though!
I over look the size because of the design and features. Low 50's is the longest L2L I can handle...this watch reminds me of that benchmark. The bracelet is remarkable in counteracting some of the size.
Another informative review! I currently have 13 Citizen Eco-Drive watches. Out of the 13, two have bit the dust (movements, not batteries died) that are out of warranty. My oldest one is about 7 years. I understand most love these watches; however, 2 out of 13 isn't an acceptable failure rate. Hopefully most have a better experience than myself. I actually find their automatics more reliable. Keep making great videos and take care.
That is a high attrition rate. Any commonalities between the two that died other than brand and movement?
@@Realidealgear Hi Tim, I live in a desert with temperatures over 100. All the watches stay on my wrist. It seems like the charging circuit on my NIghthawk began to fail after being subjected to lots of UV light combined with heat (sent for repair three separate times now).
My blue angel's chronograph circuit board just started malfunctioning and then completely quit. Other than that they live an easy life in a watch box with a glass lid for plenty of indirect light.
The heat issue makes sense.
I quite like it but I cant understand why they chose to go with the mineral glass. The price is a bit steep on my end if I can find it at a reasonable price I might just get one! Thanks for sharing Tim.
That is my gripe and only gripe. I've looked over the other colors and the orange/red is the way to go.

I know you're gonna laugh, but I got a beater watch at Walmart for $13.00 on sale (MRP $55.00). It's an Armitron Horizon (20/5477BDG). I went to bed with it on last night and woke up to the hour hand still glowing. Unfortunately, the hour hand is the only hand that's loomed.
If you go big...go BIG! LOVE IT! When I wake up in the middle of the night, I can barely comprehend what hour it is let alone try to decipher the minutes. Excellent find!

Is that bezel orange or red?
It has a shade of orange to it. The color is hard to pin down. Light plays with it a little as well.

@@Realidealgear I am very interested. I looked at the watch. That’s a great price. Condition is good? It says the face and bezel are scratch free just normal scratches on the clasp? That accurate? Watch would be really great shape if so. Also, has it had any issues charging?
