The never ending saga of souls stolen by Tati and hung on the wall in her very large trophy room where she sits and smiles softly.

Best band out there. Remarkable musicians. Tati is the GOAT. Perennial live at Wacken must be next. Judgement & Punishment one take vocal. Vortex, Teacher Teacher, Disclosure, Call Me A Symbol. Two of their most aggressive songs are Mediator and Sit Stay Rollover. Welcome to the Jinjer family!

Tatiana Shmayluk. Vocal goddess. She can sing even more angelic, sing like a siren. Then go even harder, deeper, darker. Then do them as jazz, blues, rap or reggae! Every guy in the band amazingly talented and can keep with her and switch styles and genre along with her. No two songs are alike. And the entire band is incredible live.

really glad you honed in on Vlad (drums) early -- dude is amazing ... they actually made this video specifically to show him off (he was a new replacement at the time).
kicker: every member of the band is self-taught (though, tbf, Vlad is also a classically trained pianist , but taught himself how to play drum just so he could audition for this band).
This is the standard entry point for people ; so now you're ready for Perennial , Teacher Teacher , Judgement & Punishment , ... and the list goes on and on and on.

So this is _kind of_ live. It's live in the sense that they really are performing on camera, and everything you're hearing was recorded in that studio, on that day... but there were multiple takes, there is multi-tracking, both in instruments and vocal doubling, and there's full album-level mixing and mastering going on.
For true live, most people say Perennial at Wacken (VAH-ken) Open Air, 2019, and it is _excellent_ but if you like harder stuff, "Who Is Gonna Be the One" from Atlas, is incredible. If you like proggier, maybe check out the official music video for Vortex to see their latest sound.
This was recorded to showcase their new drummer, who reimagined this song from the studio version, completely transforming it with that stupendous shuffle.

Hahahah, a kick in the gut is what it looks like. A contrasting shock value song it is. But this is not a gimmick band. Jinjers musical level is very high. That makes them so brilliant. Their frontwoman is super charismatic, a real artist on stage, an extra bonus. Very interesting is to see them develop straight to the face, underground trash metal into complex metal fusion. Right now they are probably one of the best bands in the business. I hope they do a jazzy easy listening album one day:-)

Pisces is definitely their best song to hear for the first time listening to Jinjer, but it's far from their best song!! Teacher Teacher is my personal favorite. It has strong rap influences. Judgement And Punishment (one take vocal performance) has strong reggae influences. And if you're thinking.... how the hell can she successfully mate reggae and metal.....ya, you just got to listen! Their shows are fun and the music...both the vocals and the musicians are all top notch an intense. Met them at a Meet-n-Greet here - positive, good people. If you want more surprises with female growlers and screamers where you can wonder how such powerful sounds come from such delicate women, I recommend HANABIE with "We love Sweets" and NEMOPHILA with "Dissention". Both bands come from Japan and the metal scene there is large and diverse. They are just two of many highly talented bands. I got into it and I can't get out.

They've been going at it since 2010. She's even better on stage in front of an audience. She not only goes deeper with her voice, but she also moves around on the stage a lot, jumps, dances and gets the crowd amped up. She's not the first woman to growl, but she is one of the first to prove that women can retain their femininity and beauty while also putting on a savage and brutal show. She changed the game for female vocalists everywhere, and not only in metal. Decapitated has her featuring in one of their songs. That should tell you how much respect she has from her male counterparts.

Tati is great, people are doubtless recommending Perennial Live at Wacken and Judgement & Punishment one take with good reason, those 2 show just how versatile Tati is.
As for unexpected things a singer is capable of, there isn't much that compares (Will Ramos singing a clean pop song or Ankor's singer singing in Korean or a Jrock (not metal) band that has 2 singers capable of metal screams; and these fall short). The number of female singers that are capable of Harsh vocals is increasing significantly and not just in the metal genre. I think the only thing that will top this video in terms of shock is if a pop princess learns to scream and then releases a song/video.

Hey man, if you're still looking for answers, Elizabeth & Co. over at The Charismatic Voice are leading research into distorted vocals like this. They have a couple videos showing studies of Will Ramos' throat when makes harsh vocal sounds.
Also, check out Lolli Wren's (aka The Fairy Voice Mother) review of "Pisces". She explains and demonstrates what's happening. I swear that woman knows just about everything about the voice. While you're at it, check out her cover of Trent Reznor's "Hurt" on her "Lolli Wren" channel. Proves she knows how sing.

Jinjer are among my favourite bands of all time: every member is a fantastic musician and brings their own personality to the music, they are complex and proggy, and super diverse.
The band is just unable to do any wrong.
There is sure to be a host of people chiming with reaction song advice, so I'll just say my favourite live videos are "Perennial live at Wacken 2019" and "Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev 2019".
Speaking of diversity again though: for something with diversity in _every song_ you could try the Japanese 'Harajuku core' band Hanabie (花冷え。).
Maybe start with the song "We Love Sweets": ruclips.net/video/G18yyvPCiTM/видео.html

Tatiana uses primarily a non-tonal harsh vocal technique, so it doesn’t have movement in it and translates as being lower to the ear. It’s similar to Will Ramos when he hits what people think are crazy low tones. It’s impressive to do with the execution that both vocalists do it, but I personally prefer tonal harah vocals where the vocalists natural voice “bleeds” through their harsh vocals, leaving it easier to enunciate. Tatiana does some tonal harshes, but usually defaults to non-tonal, saying she wants people to not be abld to tell if it’s a male of female doing those parts. She also uses a lot of clean vocal techniques more common in pop orientated styles, which is why some of her clean lines will sound like Britney Spears or whoever at times.

Tati is a goddess. Or a demon. or both.
I think Vlad is the most underrated drummer in the genre. To think he was a guitarist in his band...and a trained classical pianist.

I love the reaction / analysis vid the mighty Rabea Massaad uploaded for this- he grabs his baritone & works out the closing section in real time: ruclips.net/video/y42tK7Y7coM/видео.html

Hi. They are all 4 outstanding. You've only seen the top of the iceberg. The band and Tati can do way more impressive things, studio and live. ;)

Apparently there is something off to your right that is as important as watching the video that everyone is expecting you to WATCH & react to 🤷‍♂️. Wait, this isn't a Twitch stream infiltrated RUclips Reaction vid I hope 🤞🙏
This is my first visit but as a musician I am here for an actual honest reaction & thoughts and do watch facial expressions to what is on the screen. I know some people have reasons and they cant stare at a screen without looking away but I'm the opposite where I can't look away fearing I may miss one little piece of the show or story, sorry. Constructive criticism now vented and over🤐, I am going to continue with your videos and enjoy them from here on out 🤙✌

Are you okay? After the song ended you appeared to go into "reset" mode... much like you reacted to Floor of Nightwish, doing her growl. Bro, you and your wife need to learn the technique, to terrorize your kids... if, or when, you have some... and their friends. But remember to use it sparingly, otherwise it will lose the impact. Kind of like listening JInjer's Tatiana for a month non-stop.
