guys! i have NO idea what happened here with the audio. this was with the MV audio turned down and my voice up and they still managed to sing/scream over me. (which is so fine with a voice like that its okay lol) most of my reaction and commentary come post reaction anyways so if you feel like holding it out for me! most of my discussion is toward the end!
i am so SORRY. but i want to say a big thank you to those that suggested i listened to this band. truly opening up my ears to music that resonates across the world and i cant wait to see more.
i hope you guys have a beautiiiiful week. i will see you all soon

Some tracks from them containing elements borrowed from other genres:
Reggae: "Judgement (& Punishment) (One Take Vocal)", "Who Is Gonna Be The One"
    HipHop: "Teacher, Teacher!"
    Bossa Nova: "Home Back"
    Gypsy jazz: "Beggar's Dance"
Progressive metal with some jazz elements: "Wallflower", "Vortex", "Pisces"
If you want to listen to them live, I would recommend "Perennial (live at wacken 2019)" to begin with.

LMFAO! Hey Stoofy! You know we were all waiting for this 😂 You literally made my day!
Jinjer went viral with this song in 2017. They performed in Australia in 2020 and then again in 2022 at Good Things! I did see them in 2022 fortunately! They are so good live. Jinjer definitely has a special place in my heart.
Yeah the live session vid is always recommended so that new people will see it's a woman doing the growls 😂 There have been a few reactors who decided to go to the audio version first, and they literally thought they had a male vocalist in the group or something 🤣 Then people in the comments got upset and said...nooo we told you to do the live session version! Hahahhaah
If you wanna see the reggae side of them, honestly I'd recommend "Jinjer Who's Gonna Be The One live Napalm Records", however it does start heavy and it may not be so much for non-metal fans. But you'd like the reggae parts, that's why I'm suggesting this one specifically.
Normally the other main one that's more palatable for newer fans (or non-metal fans) would be "Jinjer Perennial live in Wacken 2019".
But you cannot go wrong with either one and I'm definitely keen to see more Jinjer from you 🔥
Hope you're having a great week btw!

I still listen to some other stuff but more often than not I'm listening to bands that are 100% GROWLING vocals.. please don't call it screamo.
Anyway, i kept getting suggested this song during the first major covid lockdown and i always put it off. I'm glad I finally relented. Love this band.

I've been listening to rock/metal since the early 80s and I was never into the screaming/growling....until I ran into Jinjer. Male vocalists doing this type of screaming...I'm still not a fan of, but the ladies....YES. Tatiana/Jinjer is my #1 favorite as well as bands like Arch Enemy and Infected Rain. Next step is the see them performing live. Perennial live at Wacken 2019 is the usual next song. Pretty much any song you find is worth reacting to, especially official live videos. The One Take performance of Judgement & Punishment is one of those songs you're looking for (not going to spoil which genre) as well as Teacher, Teacher and Home Back. I Speak Astronomy (OMV) is my favorite Jinjer song. Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is amazing as is the official live video of Who is Gonna Be the One. One of their heaviest songs is Sit, Stay, Rollover. It's a rabbit hole worth going down.

Perennial live at Wacken is great to see them on stage. Their brand new release Someone's Daughter is light on the growls. Most of the music for their new album was composed during and shortly after the siege of Kyiv where the guys were trapped for months under fire.
They are originally from earstern Ukraine near Donetsk in the Donbass. Their song Home Back is about their hometown getting caught in the 2014 war and has a powerful video. It's all too rare that the millions caught in the middle of every war are able to bring their story to an international audience through their own authentic work rather than the platform of someone else's agenda. That made Home Back an important anti-war song even before the invasion and since then "we want our home back" has become a common refrain for the band.
Judgment & Punishment one take is great.
    Teacher Teacher is great too.

I Speak Astronomy is very progressive, with lots of different time signatures, yet still manages to have a groove going on in the early verses which you'd think you could dance to until you start counting and realise it's miles away from 4/4 time. It is also one of the Jinjer songs with relatively little growling compared to clean vocals.

The guttural sounds are created by her directing her exhalation against the "false cords" (which are really there to protect you from having "unwanted stuff" going into your lungs rather than to make specific sounds). After practice you can learn to activate these specific cords (make them vibrate) and so comfortably and safely create these guttural/Mongolian throat singer tones.

One thing I'll say about her vocals, you can watch many videos but when you personally experience it live, it blows you away.
Two other bands you should give a look at are Electric Callboy, who sort of defined their own genre called Partycore, which mixes EDM/Techno and metal. For them I would suggest either We Got The Moves or Hypa Hypa. The other, which did create their own genre called Kawaii (Cute) Metal is Babymetal. Which for them I would suggest either Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997 or Road of Resistance Live in Japan. Note: If you do Headbanger, the concert took place in 2013, not 1997.
Also note: Both bands just did a 50/50 collaboration song with one another but I would wait till you experience both bands before checking that one out.

    3. Spiritbox "Jaded" music video (not which metal sub-genre)

Hello from Switzerland 🇨🇭🤘🏼 Okay, you're with the jinjer "wft, wow okay huh?" Classic song has been confused like most of all! That's okay, but the question from here is where do you want to go now in the middle of the Jinjer rabbit hole, the song is pretty much in the middle of the Jinjer band development and journey! I always recommend starting, going more to the beginning in order to hear this certain development, see the band... whether there were certain band members who were there, then no longer, others and new ones etc! This video, Studio Live Session was at the same time the fixed introduction and "introduction" of their new permanent drummer Vladyslav Ulasevych "Vlad" which was released in 2015/16! Since then, the band has been touring unchanged for almost 9 years! I first saw them live in 2012 and therefore also saw other constellations, especially on the drums, the three in front of Vlad! I would like to give you a certain chronological order of the songs in the album, year of release, etc.! With the attempt every time it was possible, the official music video and also 1-2 of the best versions from live concerts that you can see and hear how damn good the entire band is when it comes to the craft of instruments! They often sound exactly the same live on stage, play as they do on albums and in the studio without any autotune, software support live as is the case with practically all other bands today...especially these mainstream metal bands! Jinjer comes from a country at war that has been making music in constant crisis mode for almost its entire existence, since 2014 at the latest, analogue mainly when there was always stable electricity just to have the amplifiers for guitar, bass and vocals! Therefore not an issue for laptops/software and all that crap like others! That's why the live ones are so good, because they don't depend on X computers and software and they still sound better... because it's hard, practiced craftsmanship!

I didn't take into account all collabrations between the band Jinjer and Tatjana with other artists & bands with live performances or music videos or Tatjana at Videogames!
As an example, Hello Death as a single from April 2022, or with O.P.C !
The order compiled here is not 100% arranged like the album playlist, because sometimes there are no music videos, or they are not good enough quality for me to list here! I started adding to the list, step by step a few years ago with the available songs, qualities and release dates. I'll probably add to the list next year, i.e. more likely at the end / autumn of 2024 when Jinjer starts in the studio with the planned new album!

You walked into a video with over 80 million views. Yes, it's shock therapy for harsh vocals, but Tati is a master level.
If you want something clean, listen to Dark Water.
If you like old school, 80s rock/metal, I'd recommend The Warning. Tell your Dad to check them out and give you a heads up.
I'm old school metal and didn't care much for harsh vocals, then I discovered Jinjer many years ago. My love for music blossomed again, and it's lead me to many new places. I'm seeing them in October. It's been almost 30 years since I've seen a concert, and that was Metallica. This is a journey into a deep rabbit hole if you pursue it. Loved the reaction!

Totally walked into a video I had no idea about, saw so many views on it and was thinking this is either viral because it’s INCREDIBLE or viral because something has gone incredibly wrong HAHAH glad to find out it’s because it’s simply incredible talent; that people just needed to see

They are great fun to watch, serious music but not serious style wise, funny as hell and great music. Their most recent collaboration with Babymetal is a banger... One has clean vocals, one has cute and unclean vocals, and one has punk vocals. But which is which is a surprise!
