Yup, the drugging bullshit is the main reason why I still haven't visited Colombia. That and Medellin started become too mainstream and too many dudes flying over doing dumb shit. No regrets choosing DR as my first international getaway trip.
Yes. It is true, guys do get drugged. But some of those guys go to Colombia and they don't know how to act. I have been living in Medellin Colombia for 7 years. I never had any problems.
Cartagena Colombia is really cool. I've been there and stayed for months solo. If you move lowkey then you will be ok. It's bad everywhere if you bring negative to another country. Santo Domingo Dominican republic is awesome as well. I enjoy being there. But there's nothing like Colombia to me as a American that was raised in philly.

When we say Sosua is "The Vegas of Dominican Republic" We mean Everybody(Mainly The Chicas) come From All over The DR to go to Sosua just like Everyone in America visits Vegas. Sosua and Puerto plata Has Several Casinos , You can party damn near all Night Long just like in Vegas, people drink all day and all night like Vegas, and when the Weekend is over a lot of people return home. So yea....Sosua is the Las Vegas of The Dominican Republic.

The reason Brazil introduced the visas is because the US, Canada and Australia makes it difficult for Brazilians to visit their countries. Im from the UK and we dont have to get them as Brazilians can visit here with just their passport.
That means less tourism for Brazil

I've lived in Medellín for over 5 years and have never been drugged, robbed, or encountered any of these silly situations. That's because I don't put myself in positions where dumb stuff can happen. If you come to a developing country intending to meet prostitutes, and you're not streetwise or lacking in common sense, what do you think will happen? Colombia has dangers, just like any other place in the world, but when you mix danger with stupidity, you end up with these absurd passport bro stories. The best thing to do is, if you're scared for your life, either leave or don't come in the first place. Watching this video, these two guys look like easy targets, just a robbery waiting to happen.

You just pay an overstay fee, like for example I know over a month is a little over $40 over 3 months is like 4000 pesos. That's what I paid when I left, stay as long as you want

@@RecursiveENTPExactly. You're automatically allowed to stay 30 days. Anything over that you have to pay an OVERSTAY FEE based on how many days, months, or years you stay over 30 days. The fees are listed on their website. 3 months over is like 4000 pesos or $71.

I honestly think the Brazil is trying to keep out "passport bros" ... or atleast the "passport pookies". The new visa requirements are that you have to provide 30 days of bank statements and have a minimum balance of $2000. Also your ✈️ tickets have to be purchased before applying for the visa.

The women I engaged with in the D.R, in my experience had more "attitude" and were more interested in what was going on with their favorite novellas . The woman. I engaged with in Brazil , in my opinion were definitely more engaging to the point that there was an illusion or love or a long term relationship shortly after meeting them. And they were definitely more fun. That illusion went to my head very fast , despite being warned.
