Yeah I'm here in Santo doming.. You do have the opportunity to meet more women and that can help you feel somewhat complete. I don't speak Spanish and I'm an introvert or I have anxiety. Look up the noberis youtube girl , she goes over a lot of business amounts. i think she said a small business shops rent is between 400 - 1000 a month depending on location and the overall size of the shop.
A shop buildout to what you need/want inside would probably be between 3000 - 6000.
Electric water insurance is cheap like for all of it 100 - 150. Staff is cheap (300 month per person) but DR has some labor laws that are different from the US.
You would have to research how much other similar type places are charging for those services to figure out how many customers you'll need to clear all your monthly costs/bills and get into the green every month. Shouldn't be hard though just pull up DR in google maps and search for 'spa barber' businesses and start clicking on all of them , go to the pictures and see if you can spot someone showing the shops pricing.
