Allen Dorfman and Andy Stone were in control of the Teamsters Union pension fund. The Teamsters pension fund was known as the bank of the mob. They loaned money to build and buy the casinos.
Great old news footage about all this, Casino is one of my favorite movies of all time, got to see it 3 times in the theater when it came out, and just kept the copy I rented when it came out on VHS for the first time😁. @BetterTimes you're right. the hitman in casino was frank cullotta he acted in movies few times years ago frank was a real hitman.
The advising he did on set also helped the movie a lot.
