      I would definitely say that Tom Ford Noir Extreme is the best fragrance. It lasts long, it screems winter and it is decently priced for an Eau de Parfeum from Tom Ford. 👍

    I’m a sucker for spice in the fall.
    1) Terre d’Hermes

    I also have to say that I'm glad you brought your wife on a couple of weeks back to talk about men's cologne and how they truly effect women. I think her critique was spot on when she said that the cologne helps with or enhances an attraction to a man that she already likes or has some attraction to because of other qualities that he displays. I never quite bought this idea that the cologne all by itself could create an attraction between a man and a woman. Maybe fragrance manufacturers push that idea, but it can't be true. Kind of a juvenile idea. really. Cologne can only serve to enhance an attraction that is already there, generally speaking, and then the woman will then associate that cologne with the man she's attracted to. Something like that.....

    Incredible choices and great inspiration! I will share my top 5 not sorted by how much I like them, but from Casual (1) to Formal (5):
    1. Individuel by Mont Blanc
    2. Eau De Toilette Rouge by Narciso
    3. Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford
    4. Oud Satin Mood by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
    5. Portrait Of A Lady by Frederic Malle
    I sadly don't own Portrait Of A Lady, because it is highly expensive and not really affordable for a student like me. But I will keep my tester and will use it for the most important occasions, and maybe I will save up for a bottle!

    4. YSL La nuit de l'homme (date night)

      akula1055 Awesome! Haven’t actually smelled that one but sounds intriguing. Some AdP fragrances get a bad rap for being a little synthetic smelling. Im assuming by your finishing a bottle that you didn’t find this one to be like that?

    • @akula1055
      @akula1055 5 лет назад

      @@hespokestyle not at all, the OUD fragrance is very seductive and kind of mistyc. Is very strong so it took me more than one year to finish the bottle. Know I am using AdP Fico di Amalfi smells very clean and citric only problem is that it does not last more than 3 or 4 hours. Cheers

    - once again, i am not familiar with these fragrances haha. the only brand here that i tried was acqua di parma.
    - based on your descriptions, i am sure you have a mature nose. also, the fragrances you use/recommend aren't common ones that everyone else talks about. but listening to the things you say about these fragrances, i have a suspicion that i may not be into these type of scents haha.
    - i live in singapore; it is hot and humid all year round. so if i am out in the day, fresh/aquatic/blue scents are what i go with.
    - towards the evening/night i just go ahead and use some fragrances that are more for the colder weather. i will never get cold weather here (unless AC counts), so if i like smth, i think i can use it, provided i control the sprays (but then again, nth really lasts on me/in this country LOL). cheers!

    • @hespokestyle

      Awesome! Appreciate the comment, as always. If you're interested in fragrance, the best thing to do is to go to a nice boutique and ask to be taken on a tour. It is a journey and there is no end to it which is what makes it so exciting and fulfilling.

    • @qarhsi

      @@hespokestyle I'll look for them here. But from my understanding, I think the experience is better in the US than here in Singapore.
      And I did try a few niche fragrances, and didn't really like them as much as I do designers. I think my taste didn't develop towards that kinda quality just yet. Haha cheers man!

    If you like Bigarade Concentree, try the significantly cheaper Cartier Declaration. Both compositions are built around the distinctive cedar-ISO e super - cumin accord at the heart. Both are also composed by the same perfumer Jean Claude Ellenna. In my personal opinion, the Frederic Malle version is a citrus flanker with a USD 260 price tag slapped on it just to price it in the niche category. Welcome to the world of niche luxury perfumes ;)

    Hello champion !!! To know that I am a beginner in the world of horology and as the new year approaches, I would like to give myself a gift car. (It is the advantage of being single hahahaha) I would like a watch that was “casual-elegant” and at the same time with a water resistance of at least 300m and automatic. Budget not exceeding 1,000 euros. I have thought of the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600. I have also thought of the BOLDR ODYSSEY METAL BLUE (less known this brand). (These brands? SWC Diver BLACK 30 ATM -- MARC & SONS Diver MSD-028-1S, ARE YOU GOOD ???) Please, who contributes in this world of horology wisdom, what can you tell me? A greeting and thanks in advance. !!!

    One should avoid expensive fragrances. They are an incredible ripoff. They are what are called "aspirational products" meaning an affordable product from a famous name when perhaps the company's more expensive products like clothing are not affordable. A bottle of "expensive" fragrance costs $10-20 to produce, sometimes less. That includes the cost of the bottle and the fragrance itself. Don't be a sucker. Find a moderately priced fragrance that you like.

    • @hespokestyle
      @hespokestyle  5 лет назад +1

      Roy Chefets I agree about the big markup, but I don’t agree that you can find a 100% comparable version of lower to mid-ranges priced fragrances. I’m not an expert but I’ve smelled and experienced a lot of fragrances over the years from cheap to quite expensive. Sure, there are some high-priced bottles that are certainly not worth it. However, many with a higher price tag have something that you simply cannot get anywhere else.
