I think it makes sense the way he explains it, because time only exists in a vacuum whenever we observe the past; as in, the 80’s didn’t really end until the end of the Soviet Union in 1991 (or Nirvana’s release of “Nevermind,” take your pick). People still wore clothing and carried over cultural parts from the 80’s past 1990 for a bit too. However, we can also say that 2001 is firmly rooted in the 2000’s too. Potato, potato.

Did you know that 3 towers in New York collapsed and another 4 small buildings were destroyed on 9/11? The world trade center was a complex of seven buildings. Building 1 & 2 were the towers, and there were 4 small buildings at the base of the towers, But one trapezoid shaped building (building 7) also fell on that day. In this video, you can see that building 7 is still standing after the towers dissapear, which is incorrect.
