Man i dont know what to say, that was just brilliant! It will be hard to top but challenge accepted!
Heres hoping this ends with someone getting a megaphone stuck in their trachea

0:50 I love Tech YES Gymnastics!
Hi marco
I need to try one of these engineering chips sometime, seems like they are fun to tinker with.
The QQLS and QNCT are defs worth a try if you can pick up the right board.
yeah they look like fun but no were to be found
Is this what you do as well?
@@techyescity did you try it on an asrock motherboard?! One of my friends gave me his motherboard and I wanna buy the i9 9980hk
havnt been watching your videos for the past few months but im glad im back! Solid vid man!
"Maximum effort" ----- I think Deadpool did warn the hero landings are tough on the knees...
I've got QQLT overclocked at 5.00GHz (1.38v) on air. I paid around 110$ US during last black friday. Cheap and powerful.
Jesus, that's actually a really decent chip for the price if you don't mind the limitations.
A gamer's got to know his limitations.
Intel is NEVER decent !
What are the limitations?
@@niallherrera4031 he talks about them in the video
@@gertjanvandermeij4265 Clearly you are new on the hardware universe.
0:37 parkour youtubers been real silent since TYC dropped it..
Epic "What's Up" I thought you were going for the hero landing off the table. Great innovations coming from you keep it up.
I thought you messed up your back when you jumped off the table 😂
same xD
I thought he was having a stroke.
waiting to see more videos on this cpu. looks very promising!
very interesting! thanks Bryan great vid as always
also amazing find, keep up the godly work!
Great video!
Bryan, great video mate. I have always liked your willingness to play around with random computer parts and show us well they’ll perform.
What’s next?
I am currently running a QQLS in my system its clocked at 5.1Ghz and it runs surprisingly smooth
I'm waiting for comparison these new ES samples vs x58 and x79 Xeons! Would be really cool video to watch! Props on keeping up the good work for the $/performance budget gaming :D
i love that everyone is buying and reviewing these!
Very interesting and great video Brian!
I got the QQLT about 10 months ago (around the time your son Linus made his video about it) very happy as it has been rock solid for me at 4.7ghz with a noctua NH-U12S and a gigabyte Z170 D3H. Though I noticed the same memory limitation issue with my 3200mhz kit, luckily the BIOS defaulted to 2133mhz so I was able to get it to 2933mhz. Previously I daily drove a 6600k on the same board for 4 years, at 4.7ghz 1.42v, but with the QQLT I was able to drop the voltage way down, like 1.22v or something, with high LLC.
Hey, I know the comment is quite old but, I was wondering about stability of the CPU on Z170 boards. I have z170x-UD3 and I'm thinking if QQLT will work well on the motherboard. Since it's really hard on vrm.
@@IamConstant314 Yep, still running it, 24/7 stable.
@@IamConstant314 I run a QTJ0 (Comet Lake H, so a step up essentially) with a Z170 Ranger. I had the board lying around the VRMs handle a 1.42V 5Ghz all core OC very well. Granted for work, I pretty much never load the CPU to 100% anyway.
@@b0ne91 That voltage is very impressive. How long is the setup working for? Max I've been comfortable with was 1.35v. I bet the CPU gets quite toasty no?
@@IamConstant314 Using liquid metal and have been running it for a couple months. I actually went to 4.9Ghz all core at 1.35V now just because the voltage made me a little uncomfortable. But with the Dark Rock Pro 3 and liquid metal, even at OC I had before, I was maxing out at 85°C - something that even my multi threaded compiles never reached.
Yeah Finally
😂
Great intro and great Video Masterpiece 👌🏻
yeah...nah
hehe
close though..was a Great Go...
good on yah Brian, always good for a quiet laugh my man
WOW! What a GREAT deal. I'm sure by the time this video is done running the price will be up...lol such is Tech Yes City!
LOL that intro. I was like "did he land wrong?" That was a bit funny
I thought that you were going super saiyan in that intro.....like a tech yes goku!
The face you pulled after jumping off the table at the start made me think you broke your ankle :)
the first 5 seconds after the jump, I thought you hurt yourself XD
Pulled it off! Thought pulled your back out at first XD
Gotta love that Tech YES Energy
Nice vidya. 😎👍
You pulled off a great intro
I got my QQLT for 100eur including shipment a few months ago. And a second one for 120eur. I am running them on the Asrock Fatal1ty B250 k4 and Fatal1ty Z270 K6. Also on the J1ngsha H310c. Didnt got it to run on my ASROCK Z170 Extreme4 yet as I planned to do so yet. There are tools to modify the bios yourself to support these cpu's. I have clocked my QQLT on 4.4 allcore 1.35v on my Coolermaster ML240r AIO. Because higher would give to much fannoise/powerdraw. 4.6 on 1.44v was stable but noisy. Perhaps I shoud swap the sickleblade fans for Noctuas.
That intro was hilarious :D
Yay, i9 vid finally here. It's safe z390 rig, you're not getting dissected. Nice jump!
Hey brian. Looking forward to watching a future build with you and your eldest son linus.
Don't insult a real tech w/ a tech RUclipsr that chases clout.
he is the meaning of a dedicated tomato, just love it
Legend
Omg, laughing so hard at the what's going on guys intro 😂🤣
Dude. Awesome and entertaining as fuck content. As always. You're awesome man.
Awesome!
Great look's good
500k subs close..!
My QQLS clocked at 4.1 Ghz all core gets 4266 in Cinebench R20, very close to a 3700x at a third of the price where I live. Power usage max about 120 W, so go for at least a 6 phase VRM. 4 phases (most Z170, Z270 and even Z370 mb) could handle it at stock settings. There's my playthrough of Metal Gear Solid 4 on RPCS3 if anyone's interested about its performance. But overall an amazing CPU and great video as always!!!
@dead_channel Yes it is. Haven't changed anything since then, still running at 4.1 Ghz all core. It's a good CPU but there are a ton more options to choose that are a better bang for your buck and less troublesome
Fan from Denmark xD
wow this is a beastly little cpu actuall. im impressed if you live in those country that suck for pc supplies this would be good for you
I'm very much considering the QTJ0 which is 700MHz faster than the QQLT. apparently it's 10th gen too, yet still works on the same LGA 1151 boards. Honestly on a budget this seems like a brilliant option for content creation. I'd love to see an updated video about the 10th gen models to see how they compare to the 9th gen ones.
Go for it. I use it in my workstation with a MAXIMUS VIII RANGER. Considering even replacing it with MAXIMUS VIII HERO that I have lying around for better VRM. But it's been rock solid and I went with it in particular because I had to work on MacOS (work requires it) and they make great Hackintoshs.
Qtj1 8c16t if you didnt already go for one 10th gen laptop apparrently
@@mikeymaiku I ended up deciding against it because finding the right motherboard for it was rather difficult. I went with X99 instead, the extra PCIe lanes are nice anyways.
Another option is the 11th gen i7/i9 boards that are being sold on AliExpress. The only real downside is that they are soldered on but they seem to perform really quite well. Currently the i7 variant is being sold on AliExpress for £195.
Bow to the King!!! 😵😵😵😵
I have a QQLS to hold me just a couple more years on a Z170 platform before overhauling to probably AM5. I'm happy with it for the price and the occasionnal hiccup.
When you say occasional hiccup, can you elaborate on that? Are there reliability problems?
@@tomozbot Ram speeds giving BSOD, having a good motherboard to modify the BIOS chip correctly etc.. I'm running a z170 ROG Maximus VIII Hero and to get the 16 threads to work was a lot of trial and error. You have to be willing to spend time to OC the chip and RAM to get full performance and deal with the occasional BSOD
@@hippolyte09 Ah yeah I was researching that the other boards can give you headaches, the gigabyte board hasn't given me one single issue yet.
@@techyescity Yeah there's a pretty active french community about the QQLS/QQLT and Coffee Lake modding (for Z170/Z270). MSI boards very difficult to work with, Asrock are OK, Asus hit and miss and Gigabyte work well.
One thing I'll say though is that the Aliexpress seller is willing to work with you and help you by sending BIOS files if you're having trouble.
Same here. I'm using one on my Maximus VIII Impact :)

Bryan. Look at the Erying mobo with a 12800h. Seems a good choice :D
Great entrance by the way :D
You managed to put a laptop CPU inside a desktop? You absolute madman, never change! :D
You sir are a king of ghetto, my 9900K is looking at this quite nervously.
Nothing much just love your chanel
i thought you sprained your ankle for a second there man lmao
Lmao, Bryan u pulled it off, did u pull a Hammy on the landing ? 😜
Yeah.... that looked like it hurt bro.... 10/10 for trying to make it look like it didn't though...
that ENERGY!!!
your head looked like it was goin to pop ...lol ......ps love the channel
Oh yeah!
One to watch out for perhaps. However right now I can't find a single one for sale in the UK right now.
Just listed two computers on craigslist and I am ALSO feeling the energy >:D
I bought a QQLT recently, can't wait to test it out with my z170 board.
How did it go?
@@BushidoBrownSama I still use it with my PC. VRM gets toasty so I thermal glued a large heatsink on VRMs. I can do 4.6Ghz all core without increasing voltages. It gets hella unstable I try to overclock it more. RAM controller is garbage so it works up to 2800Mhz. I overclocked the RAM accordingly. Good choice if you have the motherboard and slow DDR4 ram at hand and want to get a better CPU.
@@snaj9989 thx for the reply
@@snaj9989 btw do you use intel xtu overclocking program?
@@BushidoBrownSama Yes I use it because some bios setting wont apply for OCing
It's good to know that it also works with Gigabyte Z170 motherboard so I won't need to buy a 9th gen board. 😁👌🏻 I found a QQLS + Z170 video uploaded 4months ago.
the closed captions at the start "Hey guys this is austin"
Hey Bryan can you do a review on Thermalright's FS140, PS120 and AS120 cpu coolers? The FS140 and the PS120 are both on the expensive side but below Noctua pricing and looks really good in terms of build quality. All three coolers are on AliExpress but I couldn't find a decent review on those coolers on RUclips.
It's a bit Tricky for the time but heaps of fun for the outcomes 😎😎😎👍
Getting flashbacks to installing OG Athlon XP CPUs from this....
Always the best content from Linus' dad.
Maybe test the QTJ1 and QTJ2 too, 8C16T unlocked and 6C12T locked to all core 4.0 single 4.3
Respect for those knees wish mine were nearly as good at your age
When you landed, i thought you have broken your knees or something XD
Came here to say just that too lol
Lowkey sounding like an air raid siren there for a minute
Love getting these videos in the US at 2am while I'm testing parts. Have a 10850K and RAM on the bench.
ay i got someone in common
Same
Lol sounds about right. TYC always ends up uploading around my work start time haha
Just got my QQLT ,and Asrock Fata1ity Z170 ITX from China - for a very very good price. I want a silent ITX computer, so i clocked it @ 4.2ghz with small nocutua cooler and 9mm fan. it uses about 85w of power, and 55c degrees on full load. I sit about 1 metre from the PC, and I cannot even hear the fan at full speed. When I first turned it on, I had to double check if it was running or not, becuase it didn't produce any noise. Only down side is its limited to 2133mhz memory (even tho my memory is 3000mhz), The seller did inform me that he was only able to get 2666mhz on dual channel. But Its not an issue for me, as I only use this PC for coding.
0:40 notice the aussie after the bundy and a ciggie.
Every time Brain puts Aliexpress links in the video description, they lead to search page without the item in the video
for real.... they sell out instantly.... every time the same.. with xeons also....
thats because some items are not avialable in all countries
Yup and if the link works the price is higher
I initially had no sound on, so I thought Brian tweaked a hammy or calf jumping off the table.
Do a video on the qtb2 and if u recommend it
When you jumped off the table, I thought you accidentally stepped on lego XD
Spec up the home gyms
I bought a qqls for 150$, a Lenovo Thinkcentre M710Q with modified bios for 90$, a 8G ram for 30$ and a 256G ssd for 30$. For total 300$ I'm now having a super powerful tity PC for editing and office.
What? I was looking for something like this. It is possible to do that? Where did you buy the board?
@@MitternachtAngel I’m in China. There are many sellers offer this kind of prebuilt tiny pcs with modified bios. The bios supports qqls qqlt qnct etc….
I thought you bricked your knees with that land for a minute. Glad you don't have to send them in for RMA
In China market, they are selling i9-9900hk+flashed motherboard at only $228.
hey fella. your links to Ali express are showing me kids toys and screws
Reminds me of the first Pentium 2's on those ridiculous bridge like socket Slot 1(SC242) back in the day, I remember well upgrading my P2-233 to an amazing Celeron 500mhz by using this stupid Slot 1 adaptor card, then upping the FSB to 550! God, How I miss those days.........
We see a significant performance increase from qnct to qqlt with rtx 3080 in this video. I understand that most powerful gpu is used to reduce bottleneck, but ppl would mostly pair it with mid range cards. is it worth it to go for qqlt with ~55$ more when it is paired with rtx 2060/super? how much of a difference would it be in term of avg fps and what cpu should i go for the best price to performance ratio assuming i could snatch said gpu at near msrp?
That intro was great and you haven't even seen Muselk's intro yet
Did you require specific mounting of coolers for these processors? Usually exposed dies require a specific mounting to make sure it makes contact since its lower than the IHS, but it seems the bracket and the BGA>LGA pcb allows for that. Can you confirm?
Please review the qtj2
Whats the benefit of using the older Cinebench r20 vs the latest r23? Is it because r20 has been around longer, more mature and obviously has more benchmarks to compare to?
Would go well paired with that elusive $100 Gumtree 3080 ☺️
I was interested, then I saw the power consumption. Whew!
For a second I thought you broke your knee when jumped off
Looks likes you needed another cup of coffee!
I thought for a second you hurt your back or sth XD
Wish there was a x5675 comparison as prices of asus p6t have come down in europe to around 50€
00:50 that overclock on what's going on guys.... rofl
Have a gigabyte z390 or asus z370 is it worth changing out A 9900k that dosent OC well?
What's going on yes!
