In our Ahmedabad food tour we are exploring some real good Gujarati snacks at Das Khaman House. You can find Das khaman shop in every main area in the city. Das khaman serves nice Khaman with its unique touch.
In the shop, there were different varieties like regular khaman, Tam-tam khaman, Dahi Khaman, Sev-Khamani, Patra, Khandvi, Stuffed Samosa, and Kachori. Also, every item you try here is finger leaking good.
You are unlikely to find this place lacking for customers who come to pick up their products. Some even stop by for breakfast at their adjoining self-service room. Originally opened in the walled city in the 1920s - according to a sign - Das Khaman House has become extremely popular in the western side of the city.
Fried Plain Khaman, Khaman with pepper, Curd Khaman, Green fry Khaman and Tam Tam Khaman are our personal favorite. They do serve Khandvi, Fulwadi, Sev Khamani, Sandwich Dhokla, and Chinese samosa too! Try out all varieties of Khaman without fail with its unique taste and texture.
