    Very interesting film about a beautiful area. Only ever been as far south as Ravenglass from Carlisle. By the way the k is silent in Kirkby - it's pronounced Kirby. Look forward to the next leg. 😊

      Thank you Harry. It was a lovely area with beautiful scenery and close-knit communities up and down the line. There are videos on my channel covering all of the stops on the line after Ravenglass through to Barrow. They are all well worth visiting. Thanks also for telling me about the correct pronunciation of Kirkby. Given that I am originally from Devon with a broad Westcountry accent, I do sometimes struggle with the place names in this part of the world. The same thing happened recently at Burneside on the Lakes Line. Glad you enjoyed the video. Best Wishes.
