- The Life Counsel Bible in the CSB from Lifeway, is in my opinion, one of the most important bibles released in recent history. Mental health, and social issues are plaguing the church, and often we are ill equipped to navigate through it for ourselves and others. While the tools in this bible may not be able to replace professional help, it could at least get the believer to a place when they can have some tools to realize, they are not alone. There are a few cover options available, the links below are to the hardcover featured in the video. Amazon link is affiliate.

That's a beautiful Bible! I've come to really love the CSB, it's not as bland as the NIV and retains some elegance to the writing. And you're right! It's difficult at times to deal with life, and Biblical counseling is one of the ways to help bring you closer to God. I really loved the review! Mahalo from Hawaii 🤙🏾
Thank you for what you do. It's great to learn about all the different versions from folks like you, and I especially appreciate your channel because of how you manage to convey your expert knowledge in a concise format so thoroughly. As for this particular Bible, Lifeway seems to be producing some great and unique topical Bibles. There's another one I'm looking into. (... and I like the green liner - it ties in with the title color.)
The content may be great, but those green colors -- (lime at that) would definitely get on my nerves. I think I may have picked up this Bible in the store and put it back down because of those colors. Excellent review!
I loved this review! It made me want to get one. But I'm kind of on a Bible buying hiatus. I just need to figure out how I want to steward the money that God has given me.
NIV Ministry Essentials Bible in Genuine Leather is $19.99 right now, Christian Book Distributers. Similar content, with 250 articles. Well bound. Discussing ministry to others, it's also applicable to oneself.
Brilliant! Thank you, Tim.
As always, thanks for another great review. I pre-ordered this Bible, so I have had it for a while. I didn't care for the lime-green color at all. Sometimes, the lime green font is difficult to read in certain places. The articles are excellent. The paper could have been better. I like that the words of Christ are in black. The red and green would have been too much! I am very glad I ordered it. I purchased the slate blue imitation leather cover because I didn't know if I would like this Bible. The slate blue cover is quite nice, though.
Another fantastic review Tim. I wish I hadn't watched this just yet though, I've just ordered it and I now need to work out how I'm going to read it along with the other study bibles I've recently bought :-) The topic is dear to me. I was a secular psychotherapist a while ago and have a deep desire to help people with Christian counselling. As you say this won't replace a counsellor but it for me personally it will help me navigate through a couple of my own issues while allowing me to see me start to grasp what the move to Christian counselling will involve. Thanks again for a brilliant video.
Being gay is not a chronic problem
Practicing gay sex is.
Agree with you about the usefulness of a Bible like this. Will be interesting to see if it’s expanded beyond the confines of the CSB translation. Layout’s quite striking, could almost be sold as a wide margin.
Getting kind of long winded aren't you, Tim? 7:31!! 😂
Just kidding. I love your vids. Keep up the good work!!
Goodness I’m working hard to keep them short, for some reason it’s getting more and more difficult!
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews Honestly, it's probably because the more you learn and the more accomplished you become, the more you have to share. No worries, brother!

Looks like it would be a good reference tool for Biblical Counselors.
Thank you! Well-done, especially in your concluding thoughts.
I saw this vid and I had to order this. Thanks so much for this review. I appreciate it.
Thank you again …always give us great Bible tools..
I like that it has wide margins 😊. Is the size of this bible similar to the size of the CSB Spurgeon? It looks pretty big.
I’ll have to check tomorrow.
Thank you Tim for sharing your thoughts 😊
Been waiting on your review of this bible…as I anticipated your review was great thank you
Thank you!
I think it is neat, but i dont know why they didnt just publish the articles and counsel in its own book
Because you have the verses right there with you rather than having to get out your bible.
I just bought this Bible . I m in a very hard year
I hope it’s helpful for you!
The problem with the Critical Text bibles, CSB, NET, NIV, LSB, ESV is that render some so important our Lord and Savior deity's verses so wrongly that it is really a shame, instance, Micah 5:2. In these bibles the translators have rendered this verse as if our Lord and Savior had had "a beginning in the distant past", but our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the Alfa and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Almighty God, so when the translators render this so important verse and some others correctly, then I will be the first in buying and promoting these Critical Text bibles.
In fact, I'm interested in getting this so important study bible tool, but I have a question, is it available in the NKJV bible?
It is not. That’s a publication of Thomas Nelson, this is from Lifeway/Holman.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews Thank you very much.
The problem is your not understanding the Hebrew idiom ancient of days as translated in the critical texts.
@@Chomper750 The fathers of the Church (Centuries I-IV) speak and mention in their writings verses and passages of the Scriptures which do not appear in the modern Bible translations Critical Text based on, if so early as 100 to 300 years after the deaf of the Apostles those passages of the Scriptures were quoted by the fathers of the Church this means that these verses and passages are actually part of "The Scriptures", why then in the Critical Text manuscripts those verses and passages do not appear? That's why we should avoid those modern Bible translations which omit the Scriptures itself, the testimony of the fathers of the Church in this regard cannot be ignored.
