gambit2321 this was part of a Travel Channel show all about Universal Orlando -- it originally aired in 2000/2001, I think? It was called "TRAVEL CHANNEL SECRETS: UNIVERSAL STUDIOS -- MAGIC"

My favorite Universal attraction! Twice I went to Universal, and both times I returned for more. I remember the last time I took on this ride; It was Grad Bash, and it was my group’s first ride. It was my idea; I was really missing it. After saving the universe from alien destruction, I remember turning to my teammates and bragging about my score, only to get shut down when one of my team revealed her score was way higher than mine. Oh, well, can't win em all.
Awww...baby Dave Cobb! And now we have enough computing power inside our phones to run an automotive assembly plant. ;-)
I remember watching this on TV... years before I knew you and thinking how cool it was! So glad it's still one of the better maintained rides at Universal Orlando!

I absolutely adore this ride. Has to be my favorite in all of Universal. Being a MIB super fan also helps! I do have a question for you, Mr. Dave Cobb. How in the hell did you get Rip Torn and Will Smith to come back as Zed and Agent J? Also bonus: Is this ride officially MIB Canon, and where does it fit into the Timeline?
Simple, we paid them! LOL -- it was only a day shoot for both of them, so it wasn't super expensive. Universal was going to use them in the marketing, so I'm sure they struck an overall deal for that with both of them. But that's beyond my pay grade LOL
Canon? Not really. Not in the sense that Sony would ever reference it in the movies. It was created as its own standalone story.
@@DaveCobbIdeaguy oh!! Ok that makes complete sense lolll. Did you get to direct or talk with them at all? Still that’s awesome. Wish Zed returned for MIB 3. Ah, that makes even more sense lol! I’m sure they did, no worries, we don’t need a nuerolyzer here….. Hmm, gotcha. Oh ok!! 😂 I personally place it after the first movie. 😆 I gotcha!! I like to put the Alien Attack in the franchise. Did you ever have plans to include the Ford LTD outside the entrance? I heard it was there but when I went to Orlando it wasn’t. To say I was disappointed would be something. That, once again, makes total sense here. I have one last question here: so was there supposed to be any agents in the Immigration Control Room? It seems real empty in there. Thank you so much answering my questions good sir! You’ve made an incredible ride! MIB would be proud to have you. 😉
Also, I did support the MIB Gear Shop, I recently visited Universal Florida, and I picked up the MIB Coins and a Frank Pug Plush. I love Frank so much! I also bought a Coin Album there, I just wish there were MIB Sunglasses available. That really bummed me out 😔 but overall the best experience ever!!!

Dave Cobb no worries, I got to live and enjoy MIB in real life and In my opinion MIB still one of the best rides at the park. So thank you for bringing me many fun memories from this attraction.
