Anyone who say's "she's just whispering" has no idea the amount of control that entire song takes with the ups and the downs and hitting those notes... it's like gymnastics for vocal cords. Maintaining that is harder than one would think. Have you ever tried to 'whisper' for a long time? it starts to hurt your throat after a while because of the strain you put on your vocal cords, Imagine doing that constantly, and even if she was 'just whispering' it would still be a B*tch on the cords. Bravo Billie for having such control and being so amazing
As a guy, I like trying to imitate billie eilish style (of course, I don't sing that high), it's really interesting to see how to sing that way. I have to recognize it's most of the time impossible to imitate her without a mic because she doesn't sing really loudly, but it's really difficult to sing perfectly that way (ik my English sucks)

People who say she can’t sing because they’re measuring Billie’s voice on some scale of ‘strength’ or simple belting power are completely missing the point. Her voice is beautiful and unique, but not robust. Her control is exceptional, but she needs time to develop (more) technique. I’m a trained opera singer with a voice that isn’t very robust. Maria Callas was arguably the greatest operatic soprano in the world, and her voice wasn’t robust. Nobody would ever claim that she couldn’t sing!

Ugh the good days when you didnt have to spend a couple hundred dollars to be near the front and u could pay 40 bucks to be at the foot of the stage and when the stage was level with the audience so if she was close u could touch her and she could just kneel down and hug everyone. Besides me being sad about that the only thing sadder is my bank account after I get tickets for her now

Ugh the good days when you didnt have to spend a couple hundred dollars to be near the front and u could pay 40 bucks to be at the foot of the stage and when the stage was level with the audience so if she was close u could touch her and she could just kneel down and hug everyone. Besides me being sad about that the only thing sadder is my bank account after I get tickets for her now
