The thing I like about this song is how the 2 bass singers are singing basically the same notes but the color and tone of their voices are so distinctly different... Avi's was such a smooth bass while Tim's was so gritty. Almost like the difference between an acoustic and an electric bass. That last low note of Tim's isn't even his lowest note. He hits subvocal notes (check out his "Your Man" cover to see what I mean. Both him and Avi have tortured sound systems and blown speakers in live shows, to the excitement of the audience.
The best your man performance by Tim in my opinion is the live version. He goes high, gets shit from Rob, then hits an insane low note and holds it into baby. The crowd generally goes wild for it.

Another reaction RUclipsr said that was a G1 that Tim did at the end. I really like this performance by them, I love that it is bass heavy.
Hi Schnell. Really enjoying your reactions to Home Free - currently my favorite group. I mention that because you asked about our all-time faves. Mine would be the Carpenters. Specifically Karen for her unparalleled beautiful voice and her brother Richard for his amazing talent for timelessly intricate arrangements. If you aren't familiar with them you should definitely take that dive. Thanks for entertaining us with your genuinely feminine reactions. I love them. God bless.
Oh Lord...of ALL time?!?! I can only choose one??? Bob Dylan, Counting Crows, Bonnie Raitt, Pentatonix, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, and Damian Rice all immediately come to mind...and if I think another minute, I'll think of more lol...too hard to choose!!! Lol Edit: Brandi Carlile, Janis Joplin, The Band, Joni Mitchell, and honestly, Home Free is climbing the list too...ooh and Ryan Adams, The Killers, Jack White, Johnny Cash...way too many to choose just one lol Edit 2: how could I forget The Beatles?!?!? Ok, I'll stop bugging you now lol
At the beginning you asked about our favorite artist, unfortunately l'm a little long in the tooth so l don't have just one. So here goes, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi, Aero Speedwagon, Dolly Parton and Charlie Pride are some of my favorites. If you see something in this list you don't recognize or listened to feel free to check out their live performances. I almost forgot that King, Elvis Presley live in Los Vegas is some of his best.
Tim hit G1 for 14 seconds ....and he goes deeper - wait until you hear Folsom prison blues - another Johnny Cash cover - Tim puts an eye opener in there ....
Tim has a five octave range...he's amazing. you should hear his solo of Can't Help Falling In Love with You! Also listen to their rendition of How Great Thou Art, Country Road, Castle on the Hill, In the Blood and so many others! Welcome to the family of Home Fries!
I followed Pentatonics (Avi's old group) for years. I love the fact that he removes his RNB soft cap and salutes country western with the cowboy hat. Real Class AVI. My church next
First things first, your reaction is amazing, and your surprising chocks are fun :-) But, secondly, this is a very very very well proof what you can do with two worldclass basses. One bass is singing and the other is keeping that bass-line intact, and when Tim and Avi can change between them soooo smooth and constantly, it's perfection... At 2:39 (in this video) the bass for "desire" is amazing. The travel of the sound, and how the bass-ling progresses afterwards is exactly why both Tim and Avi are among the best basses in the world. And it's probably the easiest progression of the entire performance, but when done sooo well, it's just sound-gasm to my ears ;-)
If John Mayer is one of your favorites then you need to hear Home Frees cover of his song "In The Blood" it is absolutely great! ' They also do a great cover of Boyz II Men "End of the Road" and Cam's "Mayday". Love your reactions!
This group is my little girl's very first boy band. Her favorite song by them: "all about the bass" cover. Interesting enough my wife and I get a kick out of "Champaign taste on a beer Budget" 🥂 while my son yodels to "country boy".
The consensus best live performance of all time was Queen at LiveAid in 1985. Freddie Mercury on vocals, lead guitarist Brian May, bass guitarist John Deacon, and drummer Roger Taylor rocked the world so hard that the next act whined, "How am I supposed to follow THAT?"
Dear Schnell, that last note is all Tim. You should react to Peter Hollens and Tim Foust Misty Mountains to hear him do it again on the last note and you can also hear him go even lower with just Home Free singing a shorter version of this song on the show Sing Off where they competed and won their season, which was the season after Pentatonix won. As far as my favorite, in 2017 it became & probably will remain the GORGEOUS DIMASH. With the holidays coming up PLEASE remember that Home Free & Pentatonix have a number of holiday & faith songs. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

My all time favourite artist is Leonard Cohen. Nowadays I listen Home Free a lot. A lot!
So many great groups out there that you need to discover my favorites are Home Free, Voice Play, Pentatonix, Voctive and the original acapella group Straight No Chaser.
Elvis Presley everyday all day!!!!
Tim sings final low note. He can can go lower. He is also able to blow speakers. I'm sure there video of him doing so.
Several
Was waiting on this one. Nice. Keep going.
I don't have a single favorite. One of my favorites is Slim Dusty. He's an Aussie county/folk singer.Died around 2003. Songs of his that i like are "Man from Snowy River","Man from Iron Bark","The Only Time a Fisherman Tells the Truth" and "Big John"(not 'Big Bad John') to name a few.
I have just seen your reaction to Home Free's "Man of Constant Sorrow". Your reactions are just so great!! Please watch/react to Home Free's version of End of the Road and/or Mayday. I promise you will love them!!
The last bass note that was sustained was Tim. If you watch closely you see Avi changing his beanie for a cowboy had and singing the ba, bada, bada bada line with the rest of the guys and Tim is being a subwoofer. Another reaction RUclipsr said that was a G1 that Tim did at the end. I really like this performance by them, I love that it is bass heavy.
Last note was Tim. Check out their newest release singing another Johnny Cash “Folsom Prison Blues”
God bless.
Great reaction that I had to subscribe. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. Can't wait to see more from ya!
I live this Band too...
This is a perfekt arrangement in evry Song.
Hello and greetings from germany!
Lol
Edit: Brandi Carlile, Janis Joplin, The Band, Joni Mitchell, and honestly, Home Free is climbing the list too...ooh and Ryan Adams, The Killers, Jack White, Johnny Cash...way too many to choose just one lol
Edit 2: how could I forget The Beatles?!?!? Ok, I'll stop bugging you now lol
The Beatles are my ALL Time favorite band
It was Tim!!! Both are fantastic....and everyone else...awesome!!
Artist? Beethoven. Great reaction hun! Awesome as always! I love your ‘what just happened?’ face. Yeah that’s Adam. Lol. Haha! I am dying, love you 🥰🥰
At the beginning you asked about our favorite artist, unfortunately l'm a little long in the tooth so l don't have just one.
Listen to mayday and really see Tim's range
Mayday is great but only after a few more... Hillbilly bone and maybe a couple more before getting that surprise!
Not yet. She’s only heard two songs.
She would really flip out if she did mayday there all time best
She is ready for Mayday !!!!!
It's not Tim's bass in Mayday, that's all Chance
I followed Pentatonics (Avi's old group) for years. I love the fact that he removes his RNB soft cap and salutes country western with the cowboy hat. Real Class AVI. My church next
First things first, your reaction is amazing, and your surprising chocks are fun :-)
But, secondly, this is a very very very well proof what you can do with two worldclass basses.
Schnell I love Home Free!!! And you are just so beautiful!!! You’re my favorite reactor!!! It was Tim at the end not Avi 😊
Sarah Flower thank you for clarifying 😂🤭 Tim’s bass is INSANE!! And thank you for your love and support always 😊🙏🏼✨
I am a very big fan schnell. You are doing absolutely great and I love your reactions. You rock
Listen to home free helplessly hoping that base is insane
New favorite artist - Chris Klafford - Ocean Eyes!!! Eargasms...
Interesting enough my wife and I get a kick out of "Champaign taste on a beer Budget" 🥂 while my son yodels to "country boy".
also check out misty mountain by peter hollins and tim foust.
Most definitely!
I would say my all time favorite guitarist is Stevie Ray Vaughn and my favorite vocalist is a relatively unknown guy named Marc Broussard.
I don't know Marc, but SRV is the GOAT as far as I'm concerned.
Home Free they are just good music and a fun time!!
You are going to love these guys. They are awesome!! Also, awesome reaction!!! 🤘
You should hear them live. Tim’s deep notes will vibrate your chest. Watch Home Free doing Boys to Men, you’ll enjoy it
Favorite band is Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Page is my second favorite guitarist. Home Free's cover of My Church with Austin's runs are ear candy.
Oh, and your reactions are top notch!
Thank you Dolas :)
It's great to see you discovering all the talent within the group Home Free. I noticed that their updated tour schedule for 2022 includes several cities in Canada, and will be in Toronto at The Danforth Music Hall on Friday 23rd of September. Hope you can see them live! From what I've seen on their RUclips videos of live shows, looks like great fun!
My favourite artist atm is either Phaxe or Astrix. The atmosphere the can create is incredible
●Tim sang a lower F#1 on SingOff
Here he sang a G#1, he arranged
it-gave Avi the longest middle part

-he taught Avi how to sing lower

●Home Free began as Soul/Pop,
now more country-ish/Soul/Pop, .
but can sing anything, amazingly
