Hi SG. For anyone short of time (like me), or people on their first day wanting to see where places are, this is a decent intro. And yes Ragu was a nice guy. Never stopped talking! Which for a tour guide is a good skill to have!
Really nice city BC looks amazing . That’s a good idea about getting a guide for the day . Wow that tower looked tall at one point I thought you gonna audition for mission impossible 8 and parachute from the top 😂move over Tom Cruise !!! Great Vlog again . Really enjoying this series . Have a great weekend
Many thanks, Jimmy. They've definitely got some great skyscrapers in KL. You wouldn't catch me jumping off one, though! I'm I sold one of my cameras to a parachute instructor in Pattaya and they offered me a discounted jump. But I had to wash my hair that day so I couldn't go 😅. Next stop in Singapore. Thanks for watching!
Very Interesting Video BC! Pato wants to visit Batu Caves one day, so this is a very useful guide to the city & possible tours...does the number of steps equal the number of Villa Fans? 555 KRO young man!
Cheers, David. Batu caves is pretty impressive, I must say. It's definitely worth staying in KL for a few days. Sure you'd enjoy it. I guess that reference to young man is because Villa start their Champions League campaign against Young Boys this week. And your lot are at home to Wrexham!
Agreed, PFI. I would have loved to have had more time to have gone back to some of those places. But as a first-time visitor to KL I thought it was a great introduction to what looks like a fascinating city!
Thanks, Mark! Yes, I made it to the top and someone had the bright idea of opening a shop there selling cold drinks! I didn't buy anything from the Batik cloth shop, but 4 bars bought from the chocolate shop. Chilli one was interesting! Next stop will be Singapore; coming soon!
Very interesting BC. Tourist site in KL sponsored by American soda pop Pepsi seems odd. Was hoping to see a public caning, yet likely most are not public. I read the British colonials introduced caning there in the 19th century. It's always good to hang on to the old ways of discipline and punishment 555 Beautiful area and friendly looking place. Thank you, enjoyed this episode.
Many thanks, Rik!! I didn't know you were into public canines, but each to their own I guess! I'm old enough that we still got the cane at school for misbehaving. Call to the headmaster's office and newspapers stuffed down the back of the pants. Course they don't have those anymore. Newspapers, I mean 😀
@@balloonchaser Reading my message again, it does seem a little harsh, which is not what I meant. I just wanted to say that I would have loved to see more of what you did in KL ! But I did like this video... 😁
You certainly got a lot done. I have been to KL 5 times and it is good for shopping. The prices are better than Thailand - though much depends on the MYR rate. KLCC is a really pleasant island in the city to spend time in. The one bad thing is the food though. I have never been anything but disappointed with food in Malaysia.
Thanks a lot, David. Yes, I agree there's some good prices to be had for shopping in KL. I found it clean and modern around the places I went and really enjoyed it. I don't know if I was lucky with the food, but I really didn't have any complaints. Having said that, I went to an Indian restaurant one time, and a Thai restaurant another time! Best stop was the coffee shop which was reasonably priced, good quality and friendly service!
great stuff well done. all us brits know the best chocolate is Cadburys even if it's now owned by the yanks. So this tour ended at 4pm hope the night live comes next, trust you were not to knackered.
Thanks, BB. Love a bit of Cadburys. I was born & brought up a few miles from Bournville, and if the wind was blowing in the right direction, you got a lovely smell of the chocolate. Then again, I don't remember them selling chilli flavoured chocolate. That really was a bit different! Next stop, Singapore!
@@balloonchaser Singapore had an office there, stayed at the Shangri la hotel on the orchard road. some time ago but great places were boat quay and clarke quay
@@bigbopper6311 All good stuff, but obviously a bit on the pricey side. Don't think I'd be able to live there for any length of time, although I do like it. A real mix of Asian and Western influences. Feel like some Cadburys now. Not the modern rubbish. The big bars of Dairy Milk where it was too thick to break with your hand and nearly broke your teeth if you bit into it! My aunt used to bring us bags of mis-shapes every weekend. Those chocolates that never made it into the main shops.
Glad to see your subs going up, well deserved. Again another informative post, keep them coming
Many thanks for the support, Richard. Appreciate that! Hope to give value by providing info. Plenty more ideas in the pipeline to keep me busy! 😀
👍🏼🍻🇦🇺 just notified , will watch tomorrow
Thanks, SG. Hope it's worth the wait! 🙂
Hi BC , a very cool tour jam packed of interesting sites. Ragu seemed like a likable enough tour guide also. Thanks for the look around 👍🏼🍻🇦🇺

@@balloonchaser And probably Wrexham are going to turn us over as well.
That would be a good 8 hours spent wisely on the first day. To get your bearings and spend more time at the places you did drive by.

Did you make it higher than that fifty eighth step?! I do like a bit of chilli dark chocolate. Enjoyable video, I look forward to your next stop.

@@balloonchaser yes the teachers at our grade school all had wooden paddles made by the shop teacher! Only got paddled once. 👍
@@WalkingmanPattaya Only once, Rik? You should have tried harder! 😃
Just one thing to say, BC: too short!
Bravo!
Thanks, Alain! I still find it difficult to judge a good length for videos. Probably too short is better than too long? Anyway, I love the feedback 👍

@3:10 he shouted 7 times actually, but other than that very cool video
Interesting! I guess the crowd were celebrating so much the last 4 times were drowned out by the noise!? 🇬🇧🇲🇾 😀
Nice drone shot of KL Tower. Did you take that one?
I wish I could say I did, Scott, but sadly, that's a piece of stock footage! 😳
@@balloonchaser I knew it would be stock footage...still a great BC video all the same 🙂

Must do is drinking a singapore sling at the long bar in raffles hotel, I've done it.
