Thanks for the question. They’re both great products, and we invite you to judge each on their own merits. With Maple Flow, we’re particularly proud of the “paper-like” feel and intuitiveness of the interface, the depth of the mathematical engine, and the flexibility of the licensing.
Thanks! Maple Flow is currently not available via a subscription. However, Maplesoft offers multiple pricing configurations, competitive upgrades, and more. I suggest you contact us (www.maplesoft.com/contact/) with your requirements and we can work with you to find the best pricing options.
Maple Flow seems half-baked and has some discrepancies with Maple. I had problems trying to define a function in flow and found myself looking through multiple menus and dropdowns, when in maple I can just type out the function and it works. The text also seems weird, and it took a lot of searching to find that I need to hit the spacebar to make a text box that can contain numbers.
Hi there - thanks for the comment. Assuming you mean an arrow procedure, you can define a function in exactly the same way as Maple. Could you perhaps contact technical support with more information, and we’d be happy to help (we’ll also give you the inside track on the next version of Maple Flow!)
It appears to be a good idea!
What are the advantages of maple flow compared with Mathcad

It looks great. However its pretty expensive. Is there a subscription with monthly fee available?
