    I can only recommend Maple. It is marvellous, well-crafted. Its customer support, by the way, is excellent.

    This is brilliant. I watched a couple of Maple videos but this is a great introduction, especially for newbies like me. May I ask one thing though. I tried to find an explanation of how to show all steps when solving, factorising, simplifying etc. I got confused with modules/libraries that need to be imported and I just couldn't get anything done. I am not sure what version of Maple that was as I don't have permanent access, but it looked very similar to this one. Is there a simple definitive way to show all steps? Your video shows how to do that with the Tutors, but not in the "regular" doc. I am used to doing tat in Symbolab so it would be great if I could do it in Maple next time I try. Finally, pointers to anything explaining how Maple can typeset in Latex would be great. Thank you!

      Hello, Thank you for your kind feedback on our video. You can view steps in Maple using commands from the Students[Basics] package. More information on the commands for factoring and solving can be found by entering either of:
      ?factorsteps
      ?solvesteps
      into Maple and hitting enter. More information on the available commands can be seen in:
      faq.maplesoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019535432-How-do-I-get-Maple-to-show-me-the-steps-of-a-solution-not-just-the-answer-
      For exporting Maple to LaTex, you can either use the LaTex command. For example:
      latex(x^2);
      or go to File > Export As: and choose LaTex from the drop down before saving. LaTex export has been significantly improved in Maple 2021, so if you're using an older version I recommend checking out a free trial:

    Is there a list of contents for this? If it's not included I would love a short guide on how to make calculations with units. Particularly when doing simple chemistry calculations with molar concentration (moles/L). In that regards a quick guide on using scientific constants such as faradays constant and the gas constant :-)

      When defining something to use units in Maple, you can either use the units palette on the left of Maple, or call the units package. If you're using the units package you could define something with molar concentration using:
      with(Units):
      a:=5*Unit('mol')
      b:=6*Unit('L')
      c:=a/b
      You can use the context panel on the right to have the output units formatted to mol/L as well.
      This video: ruclips.net/video/h8V1U6fFzrw/видео.html
      provides some very quick examples of using Units and the The Thermochemical Data package.

    Hello, I'm a new user in Maplesoft, and I don't know much about math either; I'm currently learning algebra II. I wondered if there is a feature in maple that can be useful for me in which the software drops the solution and provides a step-by-step guide for me to practice with.

      Hi there - thanks for your question. Try “Manipulate Equation” from the context menu, and the Tutors under the Tools menu. The Maple Student Center will point you to other resources, including the Maple Calculator App, which you will likely also find useful for Algebra II. www.maplesoft.com/studentcenter/index.aspx

    I just tried to do what you did in 2:22 where it's referencing maths on the previous line and all I'm getting is "integrate w.r.t.x"

      Hi there, unfortunately, it's hard for us to know what is affecting the w.r.t x without looking at your Maple document. As a suggestion, perhaps you could ask the question on MaplePrimes (www.mapleprimes.com), or you could also send your worksheet to our support team (support@maplesoft.com) who could help as well.

    Great video of MapleSoft tutorial
    My complaint is that person recording video didn't cared that someone (which is so many people) could watch the video on mobile device as well
    If there was a rating system on YT videos, i would give this video a 2/5 from my perspective.
