The opera (ESPECIALLY this production) never fails to pull on my heart strings. An amazing job done by both singers... BRAVA!

I saw the premiere of this production years ago in Santa Fe, w/ Joyce DiDonato in the lead, and all the cast was fine.

I was there too, completely unfamiliar with the opera, and I have loved it ever since.
Easily one of my top 5 nights in an opera house. Production was FANTASTIC.
