the manic energy of this song fits the subject perfectly. It starts w a mystical opening, then death metal, metal, ska, back to metal, death metal, circus music, and then finally a british marching band? I can't stop listening to it.
Suicidal ideation, severe depression, and a long nasty list that er done gotta go into, I got to see them live recently and got to meet Nicky, super nice guy who i would have loved to talk to for hours, metal has always been there for me through dark times and I found this during a time I didn't think I wasn't gounna make it and it just helped me see the positive around me and think of the people I'm fighting for.
I always imagined the music video for this being a 90's sitcom opening parody. Imagine this playing over the opening of full house and you'll see what I mean.
I don't think I've vibed with a song this fucking hard in a long time. It definitely struck a chord with me, and I've lost a few friends to the big 'S'-word in the last two years. So if you've read this far just know I'm glad you're still alive.
Love the comments of fellow goblikonians suffering from depression 🤘🤘, Fight the fight my friends. Remember we outnumber the normal people , you're never alone. John Goblikon 4 prez 2024!!
What great timing for a song like this, Just got out of the hospital for a suicide attempt and there waiting for me was a new video by my favorite band. Think it might be a blunt enough statement. It might be time to try living for once. Stay alive everyone!
Been there, 14 years ago. The 14 years since have been tough, and there's been a lot of stuff I have no idea how I survived, but holy moly I'm glad I've been here to experience it. Stay alive!
Kick ass song, but also a genuine thank you, my roommate and I have been super freaking depressed for the last few weeks. This song really helped. Thank you guys.
But the world is great, just go outside and make an adventure. Me and my buddy could just walk around town and be entertained and we were the only emo teens of our town and time. XD but we were listening to SOAD at the time, so we have no fucks about irrelevant things which is 99% of what people tell you is important.
I was getting high listening to some Nekrogoblikon and found a very funny way to describe this band: ''A bunch of awesome musicians bringing tidings of doom and destruction to blow your sorrows away and fill your mind with goblins and happy thoughts''.
i used to suffer from depression and anxiety. after dealing with it for about 10 years searching for a solution. i just raised 2 middle fingers up and kept them there , now i only live to have fun ,smoke weed , drink, BBQ with friends . also decided to not ever let a woman ruin my life again. make your life about you ,don't care what people think, get a hobby ,play some outdoor games with your friends.
Big hug, Thank you for that. My fingers just went up , I finally just said fuck it all in done suffering after 27 years severe depression, now hoping to become a therapist and NA counselor. My mountain bike and paintball hobbies are my release and without good friends and support system I would most likely be dead. Congrats on getting out
As someone who suffers from depression and wakes up with no serotonin, this song gets me. Thanks guys. Thank you, Nicky, most importantly; please don’t ever give up, you make living more palatable. 🤘🏽
As a fellow human battling* the hideous beastie known as Depression , you are not alone. We have an army, and we give free hugs. 🤘🤘Stay strong , head up and fight those mornings one at a time. My 25 years of battle* have taught me to live in the NOW and never try to do it alone.
How do yall only have 100k subscribers. It should read 7Billin, and be a crime not to know about the Goblinkon. Yall make it so hard to pick a favorite song, but PRINCE OF THE LAND OF STENCH.
Wow. I don't think I can even explain to you guys how much I needed that today. Life's been f'n HARD these last few years, and, the weight has really started to push me down. I'm bi-polar with PTSD from childhood trauma, and I literally think about killing myself every single day, and I have since I was around 10. I had to take today off work to try and re-charge my batteries a bit, and I stumbled on this video. I have the new album, and I've listened to it, but, haven't done a deep lyric dive yet. This song is going to get A LOT of play in my house. Thanks for the message of love from a random fan in Ohio who can't wait to meet you guys again.
Gotcha bro,😐 very same boat boat. Seriously if ever need chat me up on here. Get ahold of any local support also , bi-polar can throw you for a loop if don't have good support system. Find a way to vent or hobby/ art to turn that anguish into energy. Some of the greatest artists and musicians are those who suffer the most. Day by Day if have to, hour by hour , minute by minute is bad but I have been to sec by sec from severe migraines , plus complex PTSD , Permanent Post Concussion Syndrome , Severe Depression and Anxiety. Stay strong head up🤘🤘 and never hate yourself , I became that. Self destruction and mayhem were my specialty
It's really hard to describe the feeling of waking up and realizing that you're still alive after you've poured all the negative thoughts you've kept locked up in your head to your parents in a Whatsapp broadcast message. The funny part was that my dad's phone got stolen so he never even saw the message.
When you realize this song is about John wanting to die, but instead ends up killing everyone near him even the band; gives the song a whole new meaning.
this video is so incredibly awesome. I found their latest album in a release list and can't get enough of you guys ever since. Keep being so incredibly creative, the world needs more people like you!
I'm late to the Nekrogoblinkon party, but I have to say, after a few months checking them out, and this song in particular, I'd say they are literal geniuses, and I have the utmost respect for naturally talented individuals who use that talent to be weird, than be successful; Mike Patton, Les Claypol, and Buckethead spring to mind!
The new album is great! I like every song. I also appreciate you putting the lyrics on screen, because sometimes it’s hard to understand the goblin vocals when they’re delivered really fast
As someone feeling the call of death behind the veil of social isolation... whatever that means... yeah, the chagrin part absolutely made me laugh, thanks!
give my regards to john. buy him a beer and take it out of his wages.
Would you say to do so RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
@@macgruberyahfrigginturds7044 RIGHT NOW
"Wages" 🤣
One does not pay goblins for their fealty. They are but lowly goblins.
I’ll pay for johns beer, he deserves it
This song helps me cope with my depression 🖤🖤
Scorpion is a God damn genius. He cannot be praised enough
The fact that someone else has at least felt this once makes me feel better.

The hardest ass to kick is the ass of your own pessimistic sense of negative attributes.
