  • A short introductory video for the Human Rights Defender Project which is an immigration court shadowing and monitoring program. Shadowing is being offered to volunteers interested in helping immigrants who will be affected by increased interior immigration enforcement and will provide the first step of training for attorneys to support immigrants in court proceedings in Minnesota. The project will also help monitor the local immigration court for human rights and constitutional concerns. The introductory video is presented by Michele Garnett McKenzie, Deputy Director and Advocacy Director at The Advocates for Human Rights.
