  • Rabbi YY is one of the most sought after speakers in the Jewish world. He is a regular Broadcaster on National TV and Radio in the UK and has written and presented shows for the BBC. The “Independent” Newspaper cited him along with Tony Blair’s Mentor, as among five people in the UK to turn to for advice. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth has declared herself a fan of Rabbi YY’s Broadcasts saying, “He’s awfully good!”
    Rabbi YY has written many books including, “On The Derech,” “The Little Book For Big Worries.” “Jewish Life and Jewish Laughter” and “Refuas HaLev”. He is a senior lecturer for the Gateways Organization in New York and teaches at various schools including Yeshivas Sh’or Yoshuv in N.Y. and is a regular contributor to several Jewish publications including Hamodia and the Jewish Press.
    He shares with us, his wild adventures, why humor is so important to him and how to cope with loss.

    Thanks for the nostalgia. Rabbi Y. Y was my camp Rov in camp Bnos when I was 15. Rabbi Y. Y house was saviour house from when I was 12 till I was around 16 - 17. I have great memories.

      Also I mentioned someone being a convert to Judaism not something heinous. How disrespectful to a convert's parents is that? If he is holy the credit goes to his parents. Anyone would think I accused him of voting for Trump. I suggest you stop your online bullying or I'll report you.

    Yep...So Rabbi YY's episode totally made me cry today- the part about his father...(so....you going out for dinner tnite?) He was my teacher in sem 22 years ago.He's like fine wine....was good Then,even better now.

    I absolutely love your podcast. Every episode is extremely inspiring. In this episode R. YY mentioned his book that's a translation of Chovos Halevovos, I cannot find it anywhere. I also cannot find his website that was mentioned. Any ideas on how I can get more info?

    hi ,I had privilege in yeshiva to be YY"s chavrusa 1979. Yehuda yoina,I am kloibing 'nachas'from each/every word/mannerism you are saying/have said. yes In 40 years 'harbe mayim tachas haGesher,but this bamidbar 2022 weekend we reconnectrd/we are still the Same.you talk re your father,he must've been awesomely special. Yehi.maskurtech shlema meIm.Hshm.shebaasa.lachsos tachas knafav. I know I can still be Mashpia on you YY,yehi.razzon I should be able do that on a future meeting. Yaala!
