Great idea! I made some for our 2 door 1999 Vitara. I made them for all points of the top including the separate top for the sun-roof. It was a 4 hour project but finally got it done and put on the new top we bought a year ago. Saved big $$$$$$

I bought on 1998 right from the dealer and I remember the first time I removed the top it broke once I tried to installed back ! Suzuki really messed up with that plastic material ! Great video I will try it !

Thanks. Just fixed my flappy soft top on a 96 I just bought. Gonna be replacing all the plastic with this stuff. I just use self tappers even though I bought the rivet gun lol

I needed the L shaped pieces too but since he doesn’t sell them, and the ones from the video are sold out I followed this video and made them, and I’m trying to make the L shaped pieces too. Hopefully it all works.

Thanks Professor Tracker!! What soft top replacement do you recommend? What is your favorite tracker year model?
Any recommendations on what product to use to condition my top? It kinda curled up and the Velcro is not sticking because it so dry and curled. The top is a Best top soft top and is pretty good shape and don't leak just look ugly. I took a small steamer to it and it worked to take the curls out for a day lol. I live in Washington State.
I was going to ask you can i put 31s with 15x8 wheels with one inch lift with wheels adapters or i problably go with 15x10 wheels with 0 offset thanks im only looking for the bulk look i think i can but i will like a second opinion

I'm having problems finding the vertical mounts. Only thing I found was someone selling the entire set made out of fiberglass for 400$. fml. At this point I'm just going to go with the Rally Top sport top for it.
I rivited the one side on but realized there was a little of the plastic still hanging on and keeping it from "butting" up flush... Do you think i need to drill them out and redo it or will it still work being like a quarter inch off? Thanks

Hey man I’m needing help with the top part of my plastic trim for the rear soft top. It’s the part that the soft top connects to on the top. Is it all one whole piece? Can you make that piece? Do you know where I can find that piece?

Question. i have are sidekick my rim's are 15 i have 205 .75 tiers on it. But i can't get 205 . And i would like to put some mud grip. What number can i get?Am not getting 205.
I'm embarrassed to say that i have questions here. I just got an 03, are the pieces close enough to just do this on my own? My new tracker came with a hardtop, which is great but it came with NO soft top hardware or pieces at all whatsoever. Im going into this blind. All i know is if o can make the pieces, and they are cheaper AND sturdier, its worth it. I think i still need the bar and some other hardware for the front part. Still figuring that out

Btw I would use bolts not rivets if you have both soft top and hard top and want to switch it up from time to time

Are you selling these yet ? Sure could use a pair for my 96 Geo Tracker,
I just made this and installed it for my passenger side. The driver side trim is plastic and still intact. When I attempt to shut the roof, the back corners on both the intact plastic trim and my newly fabricated aluminum trim slip out. I cannot for the life of me keep those back corners to hold the plastic soft top seal. Does this mean I need a new soft top or am I doing something wrong? I live in San Diego, so no cold weather is restraining my soft top's ability to stretch.
