  • Welcome to another instalment of Psychology Skill of the Week - 'Sleep', with school Psychologist, Dr Carla Humphrys.
    Many adolescents report experiencing difficulties falling asleep at night. One suspected contributing factor for this is a delay in melatonin production (a sleep hormone) until later at night. Given the biological factors associated with difficulties falling asleep, it can be very useful to have strategies to manage additional factors, which can compound trouble initiating sleep.
