Everybody knows that the Haybusa is the best beginner bike

Smaller displacement bikes can be a little disappointing in straight line speed and build up, but you’ll notice on a 600cc/1000cc that torque curve builds up much faster and bites the road harder, and because gyroscopic forces want to keep the bike upright, if you don’t let off throttle, overshoot speed or aren’t using body position and leaning well, the bike will feel like a truck to turn.
Do a beginner track, street focused course or both, it’s humbling, you’ll learn a lot, it’s pretty fun and would be some good content if they allow you to record the sessions.
@@firstname7359 wow this is great! I totally agree with you about a beginner track bike!
Maybe you can convince him to get some gear too.
His life his choice. Stop being a lil ass kid tryna think anyone give a fuck what you think. Grow up
My first bike was a 2007 Yamaha R6, which I promptly sold 2 weeks later for a Honda CBR1000RR. Next month, after not having road in nearly 10 years, I’m getting a 2022 Ducati Panigale V2 and although I’m 31 years old now, I feel like a kid on Christmas. 😂
wow those are some crazy bikes! i wish you the best of luck on that ducati!
In a few months get a turbo busa as grocery getter
Lowkey the R3 is a better for beginners even if you "grow" out of it faster
i agree... but even after riding it for a few hundred miles I would be lying if it said I havent though about a faster bike hahaha
I would have to disagree. Any bike in the beginner class is best if it FITS you. The ergos on the ninja 400/500, r3, and other bikes have different riding positions. The bike that is most comfortable to the individual is the one they should opt for.
zx10r , R1 or S1000RR will be my first bike and first time ever getting on a bike.. why waste time with a R3? Take a class and learn to ride and be easy and you should be fine.
@@untouchablemvj See you in Heaven brother. You don’t need any of those bikes unless you’re trying to go have a talk with God.
@@untouchablemvjlol that mindset right there is why moto stars will never run out of content.
Never convince your friends bro. Gotta be their own choice. Everyone will blame you if something goes wrong.
True…. 😭
My friend convinced me and it was the best decision I’ve made
💯
So negative
@@pedro.performs Facts are not negative.
Never convince or pressure anyone to get a bike. It’s a dangerous hobby. If he gets hurt, that’s on you. And that boy looks really young and confused. How he get that Camaro???
Everyone has free will. That means you can literally do whatever you want in life whenever you want. He can say no. So no it would not be on the friend who “convinced” his him
Bro went to the only good motorcycle dealer in the DMV area. Good ol’ Coleman’s. Bought the silver GSX-8R from them that was next to the yellow and blue last week 🤙🏼first bike. Way better than any of the middle weight class bikes and won the award for it. It’s the R7 killer. Consider it if you got the money.
@@BZ_Schwifty yea Coleman is great! Also yes the R7 is such a good bike… one day
no way, I just bought my r7 from this exact Colemans. Matt is an awesome dude. Ride safe out here man!
@@austinhicks4846 ayyy Matt is my guy!! ride safe man!
That R7 fits him so well lol
it really does
Get full gear before you go full send after break-in! Also leave it in first at lights incase you gotta get out of the way of an ignorant driver about to hit you... also don't modify an R3. I mean if you plan on keeping it for a few years you do you, but, you'll get bored of the r3 after 1-2k miles. Save the full system exhaust and intake and tune for your "Forever" bike
@@willsohrnberger2441 totally agree, but I stil might splurge lol
Shark helmets have been my most comfortable option that I've tried!!! Have a look at Dainese city guard type jacket, it has protection for arms, chest & back!
Buddy is definitely proud of his r3 600 rrrrrr factory
I don't understand when people are always talking about outgrowing motorcycles. I'm not always out riding for maximum performance, I ride for the destination as much as the ride. I've ridden a small bike for years and I'm not bored !

Got a z400 from Coleman last Saturday would definitely recommend it even though it was the last one they had I heard the z500 is also really good. Love the vids
@@flashxmas appreciate it! And yes the ninjas are great options too bad they didn’t have any this time around
Z400 is a great beginner bike I still have mines and I love it.
Instead of getting an R7 I looked at the Suzuki SV650; I just bought a 2006 SV650S today for $4k and it sounds the same, horsepower is close to the same, and the torque isn’t quite as much but you can still do power wheelies. Garage kept and amazingly maintained so it looks and runs like it came straight off the line. I’m nothing close to a squid but this Suzuki is art to me, especially when it’s fully faired.
nice! that is a beautiful bike! i appreciate the comment :)
I like how it’s almost always said that if you get your friend to get a motorbike, that you’re a bad influence. Hope he enjoys riding.

I started off on a 1200cc Harley 48, year later got a S1000GT. Personally i wish i started on the S1000GT. Thing is a perfect machine. I did 4,600 miles cross country flawlessly on highways and backroads.
@@ramblinjay3816 damn those are some pretty cool bikes! Must have felt like riding a boat with how heavy it was for a beginner 😂
@@CloudedThoughtz yeah it took some time to get used to.
I'm about to sell my 48 for a Honda grom and build it out as an ADV bike. Gonna take that Lil 125cc on the trans america trail.
"Yes an H2 is the perfect beginner bike"
These dude are both in debt 😂 to their eyes
AND HE SAID;"COMETH UNTO THE PATH.....OF TWO WHEELS".
hahah
i subscribed but i think you should position your camera more facing forward than down and it picks up on more wind than other systems just try to invest in your gear and I really want to see you succeed.
thank you! its a work in progress!
Was this Coleman in Falls Church?

yea...
GSX-8R is probably a good buy aswell!!! But i luv my yammie, next bike MT07!
You don't have to shift like that, ask someone that's been riding for awhile to show you. You can rev it out a lot more, shifting so quick like that isn't necessarily good and you don't have to be so aggressive with ur wrist when you shut the throttle to shift. You don't have to slam it closed you wanna roll it off. It'll make such a big difference in ur riding. #yamahagang
Appreciate the advice :)
i think he should go r7 for sure. ima beginner rider got my r7 last month for my first bike and its perfect. i knew not to go crazy so learned from driving a couple hundred miles and now im used to hitting on it. it isnt the fastest but it has the perfect power for a beginner when u know ur limits. the aggressive riding stance can get uncomfortable fast tho so thats one thing to think about
Definitely not, anything over 75hp is not safe for a beginner. Not to mention the riding position is highly unfavorable when learning the fundamentals of riding.
@@ImmortalBanditz yea the r7 is a great choice if you know what you are doing or get the hang of riding very fast. But it definitely is much more expensive than starting out on a 300… we shall see what he does!
nice video, i recommend changing the angle of the go pro to be able to see further ahead 👍🏽
yea.. i think im just gonna record in 360 mode! much better quality anyway
7:57 THE KAWASAKI VAQUARO LETS GOOOO. bet bike i have had lmao its heavy but fun af to get on the throttle
Wow I didn’t realize that the 300 can keep up with the bigger bikes, I’ve been looking to start on a bigger bike like a 600cc at least I feel like the r3 I will outgrow but it will be better to start on something like this and safe than going out and giving me a missle
yep! 300's are very good to start on, better to be safe than sorry
R7 is not a beginner motorcycle even though Yamaha claims it's "beginner friendly". A newly experienced rider can handle it but whiskey throttle is possible. Especially if they haven't driven a manual car, at least.
yea, i think it depends on how skill the rider is ya feel
Bro that's the same Coleman powersports I went to a week or two ago! hope I see you on the road
small world! ride safe!
Are you still showing people behind you your underwear? Lmaaaaaaoooooo still your best video....lol. Stay safe
hahahahah at this point if its showing im just letting it happen!
MT07 bro! I luv my R3, but you get pushed around on the highways, when its windy! You grow out of the speed/torque of the R3 easily!
Man im sitting here just going through tons of these beginner videos and I want a bike SO BAD but like every other video just has to keep reminding you that its 28% more dangerous to ride a motorcycle. Ive been in 3 wrecks in cars already here in Florida and I dont want to wreck on a bike even if im in full gear with an airbag. Makes me so terrified to go see about buying one, I so badly want a GSXR 600 though.
@@stevensanderson2817 yes it’s an assumed risk everything you go out on a bike. But the feeling you get from ridding is like no other!
@@CloudedThoughtz Yeah I always got a thrill feeling the wind whipping past me on a regular bicycle but im just so scared of the speed demon I have, I swore a long time ago that I wouldnt get a sport bike because I know I would speed but im over here drooling over supercharged H2R's lol. Almost 40 and I just want a sport bike so bad.
Do NOT skip on gear; boys. please
zx4rr would be a pretty dope lil bike
@@jaycowper not too powerful before you too tune it too!
@@CloudedThoughtzyall gotta remember it’s like 5 digit price tag it’s expensive for a beginner bike. but if you are gonna keep it and not sell it it’s worth it
Angle that camera up a bit
Fun video. You use a chin mounted camera, correct? If so, you don't turn your head enough when changing lanes, merging into traffic, etc. Remember that people driving cars don't see you and you don't have crumple zones on a bike, you've got your legs! Get it wrong once and it can change your life forever... while the driver that hits you will hardly get a scratch.
@@tototronic2 yea you are right! Just gotta keep being safe
If he knows how to ride a bike and has either rode a shifter dirtbike/gotten comfortable with a quad I'd say he can get a 600 if he wants to be fast. He just has to respect it. But of course if not I'd go for a 650 or 500 parralel twin
@@ONI_R6 couldn’t agree more, we shall see what he does haha
Don’t waste the money on headers and a can, I would just only get the can. Did that on my ninja 300 when I started riding and it was loud af and I just got a cheap one off Amazon for like 50$
hmmm
@@CloudedThoughtz I mean do that you want it’s your bike and your money but just a slip on should be fine and if you still want louder you can cut off the resonator and buy a link pipe then it would be loud as hell but is it just a parallel twin and imo it doesn’t sound that good when they’re insanely loud.
