Watched loads of reviews of this bike and this is the best by far. I agree with the shifter good idea but it needs to be higher on the front... Well done great video 👍
Agreed! The Heel-toe-shifter was one of the sellingpoints for me. I was considering the Kawasaki Vulcan S, but realized I would have had to install a heel-toe-shifter, a USB charger, a gear indicator, a center stand, a pillion backrest, a new seat and a new exhaust for it to meet my expectations. The meteor 350 meets all those expectations right off the showroom. Obviously the Super Meteor 650 is the perfect contender, but it's hard to argue with the price of the 350
I have been riding japanese made motorcycles for the past 26 years as a female rider. Only recently i purchase the himalayan. Im not a big fan of china made motorcycles but im willing to put down my last dollar on Taiwanese made KYMCO or SYM scooters and Indian made ROYAL ENFIELD motorcycles. 👍👍👍👍👍
One of the best reviews on you tube....and I've seen a lot on the Meteor. I took a yellow Fireball out a couple of days ago. Rode over on my SV650S and expected the switch to the Enfield to show any relative deficiencies. The Meteor pulls well and certainly doesn't feel gutless. The 20HP is compressed down to what you are legally allowed to use on UK roads and who needs to go much above 70mph on a naked bike anyway. Gear shift feels odd but you get used to it. Unless you have abnormally small feet don't 't even think of using your toe under the front shifter. Yes it's odd but brings a fun dimension to the standard shifting technique. Seating position is nice but take it over a surface with ruts or dips and the as you quite rightly showed: the energy from the shocker seems to go in a straight line up your back. On the SV the wrists take more weight and you never feel this kind of shock up the back. For this kind of bike it handles Well, much better than the Kawasaki W650 retro that needs several months notice before it will consider turning into a corner. Actually it handles pretty well and the traditional rear shocks can be felt squirming when you push it a little. I'm used to looking forward in to mirrors but the Meteor ones are so close the rider you need to lean back a bit.....maybe I'm to used to a sportier riding position. I also expected the exhaust to sound anaemic compared to my v twin with street legal FUEL silencer but no...it sounds awesome, so much so I asked the dealer if he had the original pipe on it. He did. Wow. I also agree that the clutch lever is easy to use and not stiff at all. Overall this looks like a quality machine, it rides great given the price point and sounds lovely but most importantly it is a fun machine that put a smile on my face, in fact I laughed out loud when I experienced the exhaust tune. The only thing I would change is the rear shocks, I'm not picky or a tuner but they need to be better at taking, well, shocks really. Would this put me off buying one? Absolutely not, it is superb for the price, a bike with character and that thing one often seeks out, a soul. I'm thinking of getting one. Great job Royal Enfield!
Another great down to earth review - looks to me like it would be an excellent choice for a returning older chap who has a full bike licence but hasnt ridden for a very long time!! has a nice( dare I say) old fashioned charm uncomplicated and great for some quiet green lanes on a nice day..
It's been 2 years ! My God! I do agree with the gas cap. Plastic doesn't belong. Heel toe does however. Pushing down with a heel is much easier than pulling up with a toe. Not to mention, wearing out the tops of your footwear. Loving my same bike having added 12 accessories 😎 Cheers
Not too jump on the bandwagon but I've owned himalayan for 2years 3000 miles...roaded it off roaded it yes its built to a price but tough n reliable and it's the smile feel good factor everytime...reviews likes yours are spot on...atb dave
Thanks for another great review. I was the first person to take this bike out from CMS, loved it and unlike you I really liked the heel/ toe shifter, (could be my size 12 feet)! Otherwise agree with everything you said. What a great little bike for less than the price of some 125’s👍
Hi Tony, Glad you liked the shifter. Like you say the price is incredible for such a well finished machine. I love what Royal Enfield are bringing to the market. Thanks for watching, I'll see you around maybe sometime - say hello. Cheers
Agreed Tony. It just took a bit of getting used to and after all the shifting method is not without precedent. The American made Harley-Davidsons have had that same heel toe shifter on some models. But I'd have to agree though that the fuel filler cap would have been nice if it had been machined out of metal.
That heel/toe shifter is the most widely used shift mechanism in the world , being on every Honda Cub ever made and being on all the RE 350 and 500 Classics for all time. Imagine how many people have died trying to get their toe under or over a rubber peg just before they crashed. The heel/toe shifter eliminates the fiddling and hunting for the lever.
I also love it! Heard a lot of bad things about it but when I rode one myself, it was just so comfortable and I want it on all my future bikes now. It also doesn't wear down your shoe on the spot where you touch the shifter.
@@exeterrider Honda rebel is near the price but it has a different character. Meteor is a long stroke cruiser whereas rebel is a short stroke engine. Rebel won't be nearly as thumpy as this. It can be said the meteor will have its own niche. Rebel with polarising love and hate looks and outperforming whereas meteor will be for those only looking for this particular classic cruiser styling and the sound
Great real world review as per usual. Prefer the more traditional look of the Honda highness, if that comes to blighty but being the proud owner of a couple of Enfields, it's certainly a charmer👍
Fun review!! Brilliant bike I have one here in the states. 19 inch front wheel makes it very stable at speed. So comfortable smooth engine with great feedback, great ergonomics terrific little rumble and the shifting is precise- You can hold speed well with each gear and fifth gear is an actual overdrive! has over 6 1/2 inches of ground clearance for nice lean angle ( im 5-10 195 lbs) Cheers mate Allan USA
Nice review. This bike has surprised me. I thought I preferred the Benelli Imperial 400, but I think the RE takes it now, they seem to have upped the game significantly.
Great Review, My brother has just bought one and it is a great bike to ride. I have 3 royal Enfield's myself Classic 500, Continental GT and Interceptor but i love the entire range, they look and feel like real bikes with personality and at the moment very reasonably priced.
Lovely review. I really like what RE are doing with great value bikes! Some of the materials and finishing on the demos I've seen look a bit shoddy but time will tell. Hopefully they'll entice a new generation to biking with down to earth affordable models. Thanks for a great video.
I hope so mate. When I reviewed the Intercepter people were worried about the finish and standing the test of time but infact they are and still are fine. Biggest selling bike in europe I think at the moment. It's great that they are affordable for new riders that want to try biking. Thanks for watching😊
@@interstellargod6959 I think Exeter Rider did an awesome job with this review. The bike looks very nice on camera. It's a lot of work doing these videos. You might like to watch my video on the Continental GT, and I have one on the Himalayan going live on Monday.
Best review on this bike I've seen since the launch. Clear, honest and no unnecessary blah blah. To the point. Stuart F from another channel could learn something from you
I bought a TRK502 last year and I'm a convert to the Chinese backed bikes, been looking at the 350 and am really tempted the finish on them is excellent and styling is right on point, long may it continue 👍👍
Can't tell you how many videos I've watched on the 350... Had I have been directed to yours through 'obvious' wording in the search box, I'd have been persuaded to have purchase one sooner. You covered all the important things in one vid.. I did put a deposit down last week though, but would have gone ahead sooner if I'd seen your vid way back 👌👍 If I had to add one more complaint to add to yours, it would be there are 4 services required during the warranty period, adding another £760. Even the dealer agrees its well over the top with just £15 of materials used per service (oil etc). .
You make a good point there! Its often difficult to get service interval spec out of some dealers for that reason I think. Not the case on this one but is on many others. Thanks for your kind words...makes it worthwhile for me. Good luck with your new bike!
Great review liked the slightly new look from your usual format loads of great close up shots nice bit of slow speed control not seen that on other reviews and the info at the end was a bonus, well done.
I really don't understand the fuss over the heel toe shifter. It took me about two rides to get used to it. Now, I'm wondering why more motorcycles don't have them. Other than that, I enjoyed and agreed with your review.
Great review! Got my Meteor Steller in red, today! Lovely ride out on it, rides well, maybe the suspension is not perfect but still enjoyable. Found the heel shift really weird and had a couple of unintended changes when I relaxed my foot backwards! The red colour is stunning, just need to get a screen next!
Thanks for the great review. I will be getting my A2 license in a few years and am really loving the look and sound of this bike. I have ridden motorbikes off road and can ride one no problem but really want a bike that I can just cruise a long with and enjoy as a 'non-speed freak' rider. This bike sounds perfect for that
I swapped my 2012 Triumph Bonneville for an Interceptor. Despite a smaller engine and power it feels great on the roads I use. I also have a Honda PCX125 scooter for local around town/short journeys. I’m tempted to replace the scooter with a Meteor or possibly the more street styled 350 Hunter that’s rumoured to be making its way here. In the meantime I’ll book a test ride on the Meteor with my local RE dealer
@@exeterrider I live in Canada but I have relatives near Exeter. I'm thinking about a trip to the UK and it could be useful to buy one of these bikes in the UK and leave it there for future trips. What is the full name of that motorcycle dealer in Exeter that you mentioned? I couldn't find it online using the search terms I took from your video.
As a rider of old Brit bikes I'm intrigued by this bike. Seems kinda' like RE have gone from the 50's to the 70's in their design. A good thing in my opinion as that balancer shaft must be a big plus over the old bullet models. However, and I appreciate it comes with the territory, so to speak. The twin shock rear end I would imagine would limit it. You did elude to it and as I also own a Honda NC750S and Triumph Street Twin. The thing that makes me want to ride the Honda, if doing any distance, is the better rear suspension. Apart from that, I do like the idea of a small light bike that you don't need to rev the nuts off. Thanks for the honest review.
Hi, to answer your question, yes I did take to it, but I am further down the biking road. 4 years ago I would have bought this quite possiably, but at the moment I need some with a bit more power. Yes suspension was a harsh but it's still fine for road riding. The NC suspension is just OK but a bit budgety I find. Not sure about your thoughts on that. Over all as a third bike for you I think it could work. It will be a plodder though and a relaxing time rather than a bike that makes you feel your covering grojnd to get there on time.. Royal Enfields always make time stand still⌚👍🍻
Excellent review, I have seen on the net that it has a usb connection below the left handler bar and have seen many videos on this bike but no one seem to mention it. Did you see one when you reviewed it?
Great review. Especially the comments on the seating position and knee angle are very valuable to me, since I'm really tall and it is hard for me to find a comfortable bike. I will try it out as soon as I get the chance.
I like it, particularly the Fireball versions. A genuine RE for literally hundreds of pounds cheaper than the latest 125`s eg Yamaha MT125 (£4650) and a lot less frantic. There does seem to be a supply issue at present. People who have one on order have been waiting months. Finally did you ignore the heel shift and change up in the more conventional fashion.
Yes I mention in the comments I think that the lead time is between 4-6months even in India. It is a big problem that RE need to get sorted TBH. No one wants this to be the way forward.
As someone else brought out in another review, the heel/toe shifter may have been for RE's Indian, home market. In India, many people ride in their sandals, so the heel/toe shifter would be better for them. As a Meteor owner, the shifter took a bit of getting used to, but now, I like it.
Nice review. Not seen you before, but as someone who was born in Exeter (66 years ago), I thought I had better have a look. Hoping to retire shortly, and UK is definitely at the top of my list for a ride out! (I live in southern Spain). Need to go to Scotland to visit my son, and to south Devon to have a look around my old haunts, and enjoy the fabulous scenery there. Then maybe catch a ferry in the direction of home from Plymouth or Portsmouth. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Best wishes to you Exeter Rider.
Just found your channel, Great review, this is a interesting bike will be having a test ride soon, was hoping you had put a video out on the Himalayan but can't find anything 😕
Cracking little bike, and a great review. And what a lovely part of the world you live in. I have North Yorkshire on my doorstep, but I was still jealous. All the best, ER.
Thank you for the very informative review. Went to CMS for a look, had a ride on this very bike and bought a stellar blue straight away. These bikes are fantastic!
Ahh I worked in Modbury for a while.... By the time you get to CMS you will be pleased to get on your METEOR! exciting times, say hi to Chris for me. Really pleased for you! 👍🍻
I waited a long time for this model Meteor 350 suddenly my plan was changed and I have buy jawa 42 bike but Meteor 350 is very good features bike and old model Thunderbird 500, and 350 x very good features bike. Now I have my own experience for my new bike jawa 42 bike is good too.
06:20 £3829 in UK .............. but less than £1800 in India - thats a hell of a % increase. Justified? Not sure. I think they had scope to make them cheaper.
@@exeterrider Yet I see the same price hike everywhere across Europe and the USA not just the UK. It suggests a "they will pay it, they can afford more" tax has been applied before the bikes even left India. It would be interesting if someone could do a full investigation into it all. Imagine how many more bikes they would sell if prices were less inflated.
@@exeterrider you touched on points that no other so called reviewers have bothered to mention ie it has a centre stand for one 👍 Keep up the reviewing, I’ve subscribed 👍
Great looking bike, I'd be interested to see what the used prices are after 12 months as I imagine they are going to depreciate and be good value 2nd hand, the new price just has me thinking "I could get a lot of other really good lightly used bikes for the same money". Really enjoyed the review though 👍
I love doing 1000+ mile trips on B roads with overnight hotel stays (through Switzerland, Germany, France, Luxemburg, Belgium and Holland). I think this bike would be lovely for that, might get one actually. Would be a step up from the 110cc 8hp I used on my last multiday trip...
Lovely review, really enjoyable to watch - thank you. A very different bike but is the Fireball as enjoyable as the Honda CB300r you previously had? I've got the CB300 and love it but I can't help but be interested in the Royal Enfield...
Hi Rob, thanks and yes it's alot less exciting if I'm honest and you may feel you want more of you like that sort of thing compared to the cb300. It's down are power alot, not by figures but just the way it rides, but if your not in a hurry it's fine. Thanks for watching 📺
Well I have also been watching your reviews for a long time and you introduced me to CMS back in 2019 and I went and bought The Interceptor 650 twin, which I do Love to bits and improved the preformance and appearance, but this review just shows what Royal Enfield can produce, I am very tempted to buy this model, really enjoyed your review and a fantastic video you have created with all the Knowledge required, Great video
I am just 5.4 but don't face any problem. The seating is perfect for all kind of riders. In India it's a cult motorcycle. RE has done a great job with the new Meteor. I drive a Supernova Blue.
Usual very informative vid, ER. I was toying with the idea of second bike for a local run around. The Enfield Meteor and the Honda CB300R are likely candidates. Which one would you choose as you used to own a CB300?
Hi mate, Thank you! Well , I think I would go to the Meteor, The CB300R is great but the gears are too short and the seats not very good and the bars are too low down. Meteor will be in the pot but so will the BMW 310GS, I think the Meteor would win but there is alot to be said for the 310GS. Hope that helps : )
@@exeterrider Thanks, amigo. You do surprise me. The BMW is not a contender for me. Unlike your Beemer some of the later ones are fraught with reliability problems.
@@jimsadler8704 They were certainly better pre 2004 for sure your right. I like the 310gs, but the engine note let's it down a bit. The cb is good but being in 5th or 6th gear but the time you hit 30 was a pain👍
👍Thank you. I like the look of this bike. You didn't mention 100mpg! How is it up steep hills please? Could you still be doing 50mph at the top of Haldon Hill?
Thanks James, Yes you will still be at 50, but not much more I dont think. Pending on where your going - the back roads would be nicer through Dawlish ,teignmouth etc : ) They have a demo at CMS
@@exeterrider Thanks for that. I'm in Taunton, previously Exeter. Still on L plates. My 125 ZSB (much loved) struggles a bit going up the Quantocks and Blackdowns. I might be after/prefer another 5 or 10 bhp over the Meteor's 20, but it seems to be a particularly good buy. Merry Christmas.
electric start 🤢 very good looking bike and a base for people to make it individual with accessories. the price is just incredible for such a nice bike. when you see one of my next videos you'll understand that i may be visiting CMS later in the summer. great video and review, definitely food for thought 👍
Hi great review, really fancy getting one of these bike. Could I just ask did the bike feel to struggle at 70 or did it get there and comfortably stay at 70. Not a speed demon, but on odd occasions that you need to use motorway or dual carriageway nice to keep up with traffic and not feel abit vulnerable.
Yeap, as I guess you may already know it is rescricted to 71, I felt if it wasn't then it could get to 83ish I expect. It does hold well at 70 and dosent feel like your stressing the engine 👍
@@exeterrider That's a piece of information I have been looking for for ages; I'm 67 and no speed seeker but sometimes one needs 70 mph just to hang in there-most helpful-thanks
Im guessing you're from uk? Man am i glad to see RoyalEnfield regaining its popularity and the fact that this is rhs driving roads, its so easy om my eyes.
@@exeterrider Good to see a beautiful sunny day! A couple more REs are around the corner hope you guys get them. The Roadster 650 and the Shotgun 650 are being tested, there are rumours of a 650 Himalayan called Sherpa as well. The classic bullet is getting some upgrades as well. There are two more but very less is know, one is called the flying flea the other is a scram. I have also heard there is a 350cc interceptor being worked on as well. I hope its launched soon. So 7 bikes from RE coming by next year!
A real tough one that. I need the extra power of the rebel. But I would be uncomfortable on it, so I would go meteor, and it looks nicer I think and more substantial.
What a nice looking bike. Sounds beautiful. I envision this having a high scrambler exhaust, like the Triumph 250 of 1970. A few mods and you have something evocative. Glad they kept the analog speedo. Seems right at home on those winding English roads. Not so amidst the insane Southern California drivers.
A good review of what seems like a good little bike. I realise the cast wheels are there because it's primarily aimed at the Indian home market, who've been crying out for cast wheels on every new bike as they allow tubeless 'repair a puncture by the roadside' tyres, but I wish it had the prettier wire wheels instead. The heel and toe shift are to accommodate flip-flop wearing Indian riders too, I'm sure … The bike wasn't intended as an export bike, but as a replacement for the top selling (in India) 350cc Bullet and Thunderbird models. Shame too about all the blacked out bits… engine, exhaust and bars in particular… on the base model, which I think is the best looking of all the variants. I think I'll stick with my Interceptor.
I haven't tried one with the screen but it dosent make alot of difference, its only short. Go and try one without asap.... They are selling well, and quick!
I would like to ask you about your opinion. What would you choose? I love this classic style, cruiser or classic naked bike, and i can not quite offer something really expensive. At the same time, i am not a speed demon, so i Don't need plenty of power, but still....is this kind of power enough? I Ride mostly solo, but sometimes with a partner and i will have to take highways sometimes. And i absolutely love RE Meteor 350, Benelli Imperiale 400, new Jawa's And RE Classic 500 - this one Is the most powerful, but ironically manages the lowest Speeds, it really is a bike just for riding around on smaller back roads, And enjoying the ride. So, please, which one of these would you prefer? Or should i go with something a bit stronger, like RE Interceptor 650? Thanks in advance for your answer. IT is hard for me to decide, since i now ride a 125cc cruiser and for me, any bike is an upgrade, considering power, but some people tell me, that i should go for something a bit stronger, at least thirty Horse power, because otherwise it will be most likely almost the same....So, long comment, sorry for that, but i would love to know your opinion
No problem Sir. The more I know the better. The 500 classic would be my choice for you due to taking a Pillion and some highway riding. Also the classic 500 has alot of character and good torque for a pillion. The Meteor does well on highways but it's not predominantly where it wants to be.
I have an Energica Ego,but want to do long distance trip to North of Norway(ferry to Holland). I have doubts about practicality of doing it on the Energica, tho it is possible. The Meteor, with its 100 mpg range is on my radar as the bike to do the job.A new bike for £3.5k,shouldn't have any issues on such a trip? Any thoughts?
@@exeterrider iam pondering a future trip across USA also, again,I bet these are even cheaper in US,so why not buy one,do trip, then sell, cheap trip,in theory?
@@alanrobinson2229 Yes I feel your on the right track. I guess you have already thought about storage etc. Get some big saddle bags perhaps should sort that 👍🍻
I have been waiting for a bike like this for a while, most 125cc bikes are just a bit lacking in power for my needs but this bike will plod along nicely at 65/70 mph and hopefully give good fuel economy, but to make it a true commuter bike would I be able to fit a back box ?
Yes Jason, I have been waiting too! Topboxes..... Not yet, from my experience it takes about 6 months to a year for one of the manufacters to come up with a frame or design for a rack. I would just make something myself or get saddlebags may be?
Not a fan of heel and toe either , I always take the heel part off ( Harleys and big Triumphs ) watching all reviews on this bike at the moment , the more I see the more I like it , will have to see how they are long term though , great video
Ayup! Great review, really interesting bike, I do like the base version quite a lot. It does seem quite refined over a bullet with a lot less vibrations. I think for the money it's brilliant. If I didn't have a bullet I would really consider something like this. I've been watching the reviews out in India since last year and it's been very positive. Take care and ride safe mate 😊🙏
Hi Quinn, Yes- As we both know the Bullet is a very special bike. This is totally different, it's great not having the vibes but you may miss the torque that you get from the 500 maybe?!
Nice looking bike, but not quite enough power. You need minimum 25hp in Canada and the USA. You need to hold 70mph. They should of used the Himalayan engine IMO.
Hi Bill. It is restricted at 71 MPH. It will cruise well there aswell but it won't go any faster. Its better at 65 really. Its not really a motorway bike. Take the B roads , It's where it belongs : )
@@exeterrider Thanks. I have a 2018 Stealth Classic 500 that I bought recently with only a little over 200 miles on it. Still doing the breaking in ("running in" in UK English, I believe) and haven't taken it over about 55 MPH yet. I'm in no hurry as a rule, so that's just fine with me.
Hi - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. Saw the bike in the flesh on Sat and was impressed. Only 20BHP is a worry but if it could comfortably cruise at 60mph at two thirds throttle then it could well be feasible for me. What are your thoughts?
Hi, 60mph it will cruise at half throttle I would say, it's not gutless as such, more a case of it not being in a rush to get there. It will hold 60 all day. Getting to 70 flat out takes about 7 seconds, even then it's OK. I know what you mean with this, fact is you won't feel like your ringing it out doing 60, it will be fine 👍
Big Rodders again. Many thanks. I treated myself to a new Monkey bike last year and it is a delightful experience pottering about at 30mph in top or cruising effortlessly at 50mph at say two thirds throttle. The days of fast motorcycling are over if you want to keep your licence. Now it's more about the experience and a return to the true essence of motorcycling, that of personal freedom and the ability to enjoy your surroundings.
This is the bike that after 32 plus years has finally made me decide to do my CBT. It's everything a motorbike should be. Apart from the hideous yellow trim around the wheels. (Or red trim!)
Watched loads of reviews of this bike and this is the best by far. I agree with the shifter good idea but it needs to be higher on the front... Well done great video 👍
Wow, that's so nice to hear, thankyou very much 👍🍻
You could easily raise the shifter if wanted.
i am pretty sure its a thing fo the asian market. A lot of people drive bikes with their flip flops over there, for them this is perfect :D
Is it not adjustable ?

Riding the bike in sandals? You'll need a heel/toe shifter living in the 3rd world 🤔
True but I live here 😂👍
I also love it! Heard a lot of bad things about it but when I rode one myself, it was just so comfortable and I want it on all my future bikes now. It also doesn't wear down your shoe on the spot where you touch the shifter.
Just got this machine 5days new already 22 miles in I love everything about it. Thank you for your review
No worries, I have one at the moment on long term loan and I adore it.
I have many videos coming up on the meteor 350. Stay tuned!
Great work as always! Very thorough.
I can see it being a big seller. Royal Enfield are doing well and this’ll be another boost for them 👍🏼
Thanks- Yes this should sell well, I don't think there is anything else in this power range at this price or near it.😉
@@exeterrider Honda rebel is near the price but it has a different character.
Thanks for your time watching Allen, yes they are great bikes 👍
Very nice looking bike. Classic style and can't beat the price. Thanks for the review. Cheers. 🏍👍🇨🇦
Thanks for watching Dan👍🍻
Nice review. This bike has surprised me. I thought I preferred the Benelli Imperial 400, but I think the RE takes it now, they seem to have upped the game significantly.
Totally agree, They are all good bikes but out of the 2 the Meteor takes it for me.
Fantastic video ER! What a great day you had for it too. RE are making some really nice looking bikes these day. Keep up the good work.
Ahh thanks. Couldn't do it without you mate. Thanks for watching 👍📺🍻
Great Review, My brother has just bought one and it is a great bike to ride. I have 3 royal Enfield's myself Classic 500, Continental GT and Interceptor but i love the entire range, they look and feel like real bikes with personality and at the moment very reasonably priced.
Proper biking Lester. In many ways what more could you want from a brand 👍🍻
Very relaxed, to the point and covers all areas. Enjoyed the review.
Good, that's great to hear Thankyou 👍🍻
Lovely review. I really like what RE are doing with great value bikes! Some of the materials and finishing on the demos I've seen look a bit shoddy but time will tell. Hopefully they'll entice a new generation to biking with down to earth affordable models.
Thanks for a great video.
I hope so mate. When I reviewed the Intercepter people were worried about the finish and standing the test of time but infact they are and still are fine. Biggest selling bike in europe I think at the moment. It's great that they are affordable for new riders that want to try biking. Thanks for watching😊
The meteor look great in flash... these video's doesn't give justice.. you would be shock how awesome these look in real life.
@@interstellargod6959 I think Exeter Rider did an awesome job with this review. The bike looks very nice on camera. It's a lot of work doing these videos.
You might like to watch my video on the Continental GT, and I have one on the Himalayan going live on Monday.
I'm hoping the rumoured classic and roadster versions will make it to the UK. Perfect for chugging around the Dorset lanes.

Good choice. well done!
I bought a TRK502 last year and I'm a convert to the Chinese backed bikes, been looking at the 350 and am really tempted the finish on them is excellent and styling is right on point, long may it continue 👍👍
Hi Chris, I am desperate to get on a TRK. I did a review on the 502C and really like the engines on them. Hopefully I can get on one this year maybe.
Very Great Review, I just test road one three days ago. I plan to buy one now.
Good news, go for it 👍👏👏
The tyre manufacturer worked in combination with Royal enfield to produce those tyres specifically for the meteor
Any idea of how they'd perform in the wet?
Can't tell you how many videos I've watched on the 350...
Had I have been directed to yours through 'obvious' wording in the search box, I'd have been persuaded to have purchase one sooner.
You covered all the important things in one vid..
I did put a deposit down last week though, but would have gone ahead sooner if I'd seen your vid way back 👌👍
If I had to add one more complaint to add to yours, it would be there are 4 services required during the warranty period, adding another £760.
Low road tax! Yes indeed and you are the only reviewer to have mentioned it.........well done!
Thankyou, one does one best. I'm glad it didn't go unnoticed 👍🍻
Great review liked the slightly new look from your usual format loads of great close up shots nice bit of slow speed control not seen that on other reviews and the info at the end was a bonus, well done.
Thanks, CMS who lent me the bike give me more time so I can get more shots. The more time I have the better the review. Thankyou👍😉

Nice review!
Appreciate that thanks 🙏👍🍻
Probably one of the nicest sounding small capacity single cylinders out there, such a really nice sound.
Yes they do sound quite nice don't they 👍
I really don't understand the fuss over the heel toe shifter. It took me about two rides to get used to it. Now, I'm wondering why more motorcycles don't have them. Other than that, I enjoyed and agreed with your review.
Thanks David, placement was my issue more than implementation. But if I had it longer maybe I'd get used to it 👍
This was very, very good! I think the Fireball looks absolutely fantastisc!
Thankyou. Yes the fireball is great 👍🍻
Just bought one today, delivery in January, fingers crossed.
That's great Chris 👍👍

Ha , there were alot of buttercups around, and I did't have my complexion there that day. She was at home.

This bike sounds perfect for that
It is, It's a great way of getting around.
Awesome, the intercepter are more raw than the triumphs. I think I would have done the same. I have had scooters but yes, a meteor is more fun 👍
Be careful, everyone I know who went for a test ride ended up ordering one! My 2 local dealers have delivered nearly 35 over the past few days!
Ha It will do well for sure ☺️👍
@@pauld1966 that’s how I ended up buying the Interceptor. It took two test rides though …
Amazing review, thank you! I am looking to get a motorbike and after watching so many videos and reviews, this is the one I chose. Thank you

Nice Review! From what I understand from RE the 5th Gear is an Overdrive Gear to be used on the Highway while Cruising. Cheers from Salem, Ohio US.
Yes it feels like a overdrive to an extent. I wish they had given us a little more to end. It feels the engine could give a bit more trend at 70 too👍
Thubs up for the iconic RE thumpy sound👍

I would like to see a 500 classic version of the Meteor, particularly as the Classic Bullet in as been discontinued.
I couldn't agree more. I think that would sell better than the rumored 650
O whoops! I knew it was there but forgot to mention it. May be because it's tucked away so much. Thanks for watching
Great review. Especially the comments on the seating position and knee angle are very valuable to me, since I'm really tall and it is hard for me to find a comfortable bike. I will try it out as soon as I get the chance.
Thanks Marvin, I'm glad you found value in the video 📹🍻
Great review, one thing you have to remember is all motorcycles in India have a heel-toe gear shifter because they all wear flip flops....
Yes I know, I did mention that but cut it out 👍😅🍻
I like it, particularly the Fireball versions.
@@exeterrider It's due to the Covid - 19 situation in India the factory can't perform until the lockdown is lifted completely.
@@viswasrujith8426 thought so. OK thanks, and good luck!
As someone else brought out in another review, the heel/toe shifter may have been for RE's Indian, home market. In India, many people ride in their sandals, so the heel/toe shifter would be better for them. As a Meteor owner, the shifter took a bit of getting used to, but now, I like it.
Yes its for the Indian Market mainly. Glad you like it though👍🍻
Uk taxation for you 🇬🇧
@@exeterrider Yet I see the same price hike everywhere across Europe and the USA not just the UK.

The perfect roads for this bike that day. I enjoyed my time with this bike for sure.
Will I fit ok at 6ft 3?. I've seen a review of the interceptor by a tall guy who seemed fine on it.
Yes I think many tall riders feel OK on this bike 👍🏍️
You can't go wrong with a cepter mate 👍😉
Great review, Might consider giving this a test ride myself, Is it worth going for the one with the screen does it make a big difference?
I haven't tried one with the screen but it dosent make alot of difference, its only short. Go and try one without asap.... They are selling well, and quick!
It will be interesting if they bring out a big bore conversion kit for this bike,I have ordered mine, 6 weeks waiting list for them
Yeap I hope you get it on time 👍
I would like to ask you about your opinion.

It will hold 71 well, even up hill but I see where your coming from 👍🍻
How much vibration comes through the handlebars? Would it be enough to trigger numbness in people who have HAVS (aka vibration white finger)?
Depends how bad you have it to be honest. You get less than other 300s in its class one ridden 👍🍻
Great evaluation. When you say it'll do slightly over seventy, is that MPH or KPH? And is that top speed or cruising speed?
Fantastic. It's a perfect bike for new riders!Your in for a treat.
Nice bike, good review, and beautiful riding country!
Thankyou, yes it's lovely here when the suns out 👍🍻
