I just looked at a vogue cover and tries to replicate it. I believe I just made a gradient background. Put the letters behind my daughters picture. I can’t remember what else I did.
I love this idea! I did a graduation poster and it’s beautiful. But how do your stop it from curling? I’d like to adhere the posters to make yard signs but they are too curled! Thanks for your awesome idea!!
Mine curled up too. I think that once you take it off the Heatpress, you should try putting something heavy on it like a book until it cools down. I think that will help flatten it.

How do you stop the poster board from flattening in the press
I would say to use less pressure
Do you need to tape down your lamination paper before you press it or it really doesn’t matter
It really doesn’t matter. But if you open your heat press really fast, the paper can shift and create ghosting. So I always tend to tape it.

Can you sublimate on posterboard without the lamination?
I tried and it did not come out very vibrant.

How do you know which side to put up on laminate paper I can't tell
So you put the rough side of the laminate sheet on the shiny side of the poster board. So the shiny side of the laminate should be on the outside.
