Two tackles in that I absoluty loved! The one by Josh Adams! Clear try saver. And the one by Damian Willemse on Caleb Clarke! The determination is something to behold.
The cover defense tackles are inspirational!

What makes that Mapimpi tackle so good is how it shut down a certain try because of it's timing and dominance. So good.

Excellent! The Fijian hit on Hastings was incredible! We were about thirty feet away in the stand, and we all reckoned we heard a rib breaking!.......But it was his shoulder popping out!.......Sounded like a gunshot!!!!

@@AndrewDavidForde yeah, saw that this morning too. Stuart Barnes reckons if he was English Darcy would be world class. The injury very disappointing as there was no need for that clear out, not illegal, but seemed intentional to take him out the game.

Shocked there's not even one from Vernier that she made in the world cup. The one on Tui in the semi comes to mind but there also quite a lot in the match versus england.

@@AndrewDavidForde Most if not all matches of the world cup are still on TF1 replay where you just need a free account to watch them (and probably a vpn for non french people). If that is not an option then I sadly can't help you.

Bit of back and forth in the comments about the Koroibete tackle on Mapimpi. Not a lot of people talking about the fact Mapimpi tried to jump over Koroibete which is the first infringement, yes you can dive for the tryline, no you can't jump over a tackler. No doubt that made it much harder for Koroibete to apply correct technique, whatever your thoughts on whether or not there was a wrap in the end.

Except on every replay, Mapimpi is on the ground when he gets hit, he was trying to brace to try and bounce off Koroibete before the no arms tackle, watch it again, mapimpi has done this alot, he's not jumping, he's bracing to take the contact, the "jump" is him being illegally tackled, or so nigel owens believes...

Great video, very nice tackles. But I disagree that Koroibete's tackle on Mapimpi was good. It was 100% just a shoulder charge, completely illegal and should've been an easy red card.
(I'm a South African Springbok fan, so I'm very mad about that game🤣)

Nigel Owens disagrees with you. In any case, we wouldn’t have cared about the tackle if Faf wasn’t yellow carded for a nothing incident against Nic White’s moustache in the same game. It was a ridiculous double standard.

After watching Nick White's 'FIFA dance' following the brutal attack on his whiskers, and seeing Koroibete kick off a riot because he did not like a hand in the chest after his head high tackle failed to prevent the try, I would be way too embarrassed to play that card. But you do you, little buddy.
