Our new "backyard" .... we are on the other side of Thompsons Creek where they plan a new "Regional Park" to service the aerotropolis! Thanks for all the updates ... really appreciated!

I really hope for the project's success - otherwise it'll just be a waste of everyone's time and money

I rented a place 2 years ago on badergys creek road. I miss the quiet
Moments on the acreage and it’s funny seeing it from the air in there videos.

It would be cool if they built a super tall skyscraper in the centre of Bradfield as the main feature of the planned Western Parklands city. People flying in and out of the airport nearby would see it, and that would be their first impression of the area. It would be similar to Dubai's Burj Khalifa, and would be the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere. Have a five star hotel/resort, luxury apartments, commercial space, shopping mall, etc. It would be great for tourism and the local economy, just like the Burj Khalifa is for Dubai. Just a suggestion, many may not agree. And in regards to issues with having a tall skyscraper next to an airport, Bradfield is parallel with the runways, not under the flight path, so shouldn't be a problem.

CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) probably wouldn't allow it. Parramatta even has height restrictions imposed on building construction, and think of how far away they are from the nearest airport.

@@daveg2104 That’s because Parra is directly underneath a flight path from SYD. Planes flying over are at quite a low altitude because they are either descending and about to turn onto final approach onto RWY16R, or have taken off from 34L and are only a couple thousand feet above Parra as they fly over. There is a flight path that goes near Bradfield, but planes are at around 10,000ft+ by then, so a safe height. And because Bradfield is next to the airport parallel with the runway, planes will not go over it. CASA might still refuse, but looking at the evidence it could work.
